Just came accross this by a chance happening,2458
"o you who beleive should ask your permission those who posses your right hands and those who did not attain the age of puberty of you three times before salaat dawn and while you put off your clothes for the noon day and after salaat isha three times of privacy for you there is not you nor on them sin afterewards to move about.........
(Does it take long to change one's clothes?)
Da'a = He hid or concealed himself
Saiyab = The wearers body, or self ;or what the garments infold.
(Saab=he returned)
(soob= he repeated his call/when something is done extra)Zin - accurs as a prt of word in this ayat and it means (seminal fluid)It flawed.
(Zaheer=An aider or assistant)
tazaheer=such a one mounted ,or went up, upon the high region.
=he threw upon him one over another.(But it can also mean)zaheeratun=The part of midday,or only in suumer middayor when the heat is vehement.
So the ayat ,to me,means
"o you who beleive should ask your permission those who posses your right hands and those who did not attain the age of puberty of you three times before salaat dawn and while you are concealing yourselves for pleasure((mind the lingo) going onto one another) and after the salaat isha three times of privacy for you there is not on you nor on them sin afterwards to move about..........

I wrote some notes on 2458 a while ago, as follows
The word thaheerati has been mistakingly translated as "noon" by some translators. The closest derivatives to this word which appear in Al-Quran can be found in the following verses
Did you not see that God has committed in your service everything in the heavens and the earth, and has showered you with His blessings, both apparent (thahiratan) and hidden? Yet from the people are some who argue about God without knowledge, without guidance, and without the enlightening scripture.
And We placed between them and between the towns that We blessed, towns that were easily apparent/visible (thahiratan); and We measured the journey between them "Travel in them by night and day in complete security"
With respect to clothing
And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and that they should not reveal their beauty except what is apparent/visible (thahara)...
Thus, the translation should read
...and when you are changing your clothes from/of openess/visibility...
In other words, do not change your clothes in clear visibility/openess. Other members of your family should request permission (e.g. knock on door) before entering a private room.
It discusses etiquette (regarding privacy) in the evening and times of undress.

In verse 2458, "Zhahirat" means "appearing" as per verses such as 3120. In other words, in the case of people, it means going out.
I thought the above was more accurate, but I recently learnt the 'zahirah' in 2458 could be feminine, unlike other occurrences. I haven't confirmed that though, or how that could change my understanding. Any info on that would be appreciated.

Thats a good job,i actually missed that in those ayats.By the way i still don't think it is the clothes thingy,beacause if it was the clothes and not the sexual activities (called your private times),then what happened to us asking those in our right hands or those who havn't reached their age for permission if and when they change their clothing - they must do that-surely?Its adult activities so they are the only ones who need the permision from -i think.
