    Question for KDC501
If a person truly believes in Quran and its teaching and truly a monoteist, but is not comfortable to accept Dr. Rashad Khalifa as messenger of Allah. Would you consider him to be on the right path or is it a must, in your opinion, to follow Dr. Rashad Khalifa is a must to be on the right path.

      Salam renegeadeangel,

Welcome to the community. I pray to Allah that he always guides us to the straight path. As for me, I follow the Qur'an alone for religious teachings. Since Allah commands that, I am in no doubt. I hope Allah makes life easy for you and increases you in knowledge and understanding.

As for the Rashad khalifa part, well, the reason I accepted Muhammad as the seal of the nabis and as a nabi, is because Allah said so. There is nothing more about the messenger that is of my interest. His job was to do a fine delivery, he did it. As a slave of Allah, my job is to obey the message. I am striving to do it. So any new messengers, in past of future is kind of pointless for me. As for me personally, I am still studying the 19 numerology thing.

Your question can't be answered...the right path is pretty unique to each person.

Salam and Peace on you, and all!

Your question can't be answered...the right path is pretty unique to each person.

            No!---It is not so!

The Right Path is made clear in Allah's Exalted Quran.

But, indeed, the acceptance is unique to each person.

No it is unique, every one has his own way to seek the truth, some don't want to seek the truth...some want...

So The Truth (The Right Path) has been made clear.----But everyone has his own way of seeking (or accepting ) The Truth.

                Agreed!

As I define it? No, you're not. Why the heck should you care anyway?

Keep learning what you desire to learn, the power to change is indeed within you and me. If you find yourself balanced, then why not trust what you're given? The efficacy of prayers is not in weeping all night--it is right in your belief that it's working without doubt.

Don't throw away the Quran just yet. You might find out new insights to its verses as you follow your own path.

Conspiracy theories, burning in hell... that reflects fear. Think about this carefully Do you think there is God in fear? Can you be with God and be fearful at the same time?

                    Salaam,

We can't really say whether you are on the right path or not. It is something that you have to feel, and reflect yourself. Only God really knows, and all you have to do now is what your heart feels is right. Ask yourself if what you are following and practicing makes you feel peaceful, and a better person. If you live your days in agony for something that you think is religious or for God, then you need to stop, and consider that something is wrong and needs a 'lil adjustment. Belief system or spirituality is supposed to make you more at ease, and not burdened or frustrated.

So take time, reflect and decide for yourself. Don't think too much about 'hell', think of the 'paradise' that you can create here on earth instead. It will make the journey much more fulfilling

Peace be upon you Syed.. and welcome to the forum..

I would like to add some (not so serious) remarks on your posting..

I got a bible .... I examined it . It contained mainly stories moral ones , some were nasty by today's standards .
Oh have I mentioned that I am a conspiracy theorist . before discovering this site I was well aware of 9/11 conspiracies , illuminatist conspiracies and much more .

I found the bible 'revealing', yes there are nasty and ridiculous stories within.. but nevertheless by reading the bible it really clear up some of my questions. For example

                      1. Have you noticed that even within the Bible, there are no detailed instruction on how to do prayers? I concluded that the technicality of 'praying' is not important. Yet we found that many sectarian folks debating over it. And it does make sense, talking to God should be more intimate and personal than talking to our own parents! Does anyone ever asked on the 'detailed instruction' on how to talk to their parents?
                      2. Especially on the 'gospel' part (Jesus chapter), again Jesus doesn't even bring up or make a fuss over 'rites'. Furthermore he criticized the priest of paying too much attention over rites (sabbath ruling, how to do sacrifice etc..) which actually doesn't matter yet abandoned the essence of the biblical teachings which are more important. 'Sabbath are for men not men for Sabbath' thus saith he..
                      3. During jesus era there are debate regarding the true location of "God's temple" whether it is in Jerusalem or Mount Girzim, yet he responded with 'it doesn't matter as both will be destroyed in a nearby future and God doesn't need any temple'. (note and here on this forum we have a debate whether it is Mekka or Jerusalem)
                      4. A strong condemnation of bribery and corruption which I found 'missing' in the Quran. There are part where God condemned the Judges who take bribes.

Regarding 'conspiracy', dude do not take everything that you hear are true...
The jews are not that powerful.. to me conspiracy stories are much worse than the hadith...

You see when I have a craving(prayer) for something GOD gives it to me when he sees fit ..all power if with him .I have this unusual craving for truth .

Yup.. every prayer shall be answered..
"Seek and you shall find, ask and you shall received" another great quote from the Gospel..

What I see in some religions like those eastern ones is their intuitive wisdom which overlaps with many Scientific concepts . I now believe that God tries to uplift everyone from ignorance of his existence by many ways . Indian seers(self-proclaimed) try to find GOD and together with their imaginations create religious concepts . May I remind you that hinduism is monotheistic in nature but it is ancient and has chnaged over the millenia .

Yes .. before they fell into 'god's avatar' worshiping (such as Krishna worshiping which in many ways bear similarity with Jesus worshiping by the christians or Muhammad worshiping by the muhammedans). God's name in Veda is Brahmam or Om in Upanishad.
                      http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brahman

Should I go by what GOD's book says or what sect/religion I was born into ?

You should go by what God said you to do..
If you ever feel confused.. then ask Him!
                      "Ask and you shall received"...

I also always protested the Islamic concept of 'music is haraam'.
If Prophet David was given hymn . Why can't we use music .. ones of GOD's beautiful creations.

LOL.. this show the 'double standard' on sunniism, they say music is 'haraam' while the adzan and the quran recitation itself is a music too!

I want to live to see the glory of GOD ( when alive) and then die to go to my creator .

There are countless signs of God's glory on your everyday life.. you just have to be sensitive enough to realize it..
And by the way.. your soul 'return' to God nearly everyday... when you're sleeping.. (3942)

                      Salam / Peace / Shanti
