First of all I would like to commend the site founders for their courageous efforts in trying to spread the truth as they see it .

Please dispose off this thread if it is not placed in the right forum.

My name is Syed XXXXXXXXXXXXXX ( I regard my anonymity as the only shield which protects me from them ).

You can call me Syed ,

I was born in the India .
I have lived most of my life in the MIDDLE EAST . My parents work there .

I am at present 17 years old . I was born into family of Sunni's . My grandfather is an ardent follower of Sunni customs . But he too questions some of the practices that have sprung up in India ..distorting the Islamic message even further ...
I was expected to become a good Muslim(Sunni) . follow the commandments and purge all evil from my heart .

I did what was required . At a young age , I became a devout muslim . I did not know the difference between Sunnis and Shias ... I did what I saw around me . I practised what was considered customary .

I literally felt the hand of GOD around me .. A protective layer of power surrounding me , guiding me do to what was right (traditionally ) . I was content with my beliefs .

All I was be a good person , ace all my classes and follow what had been passed down . You get the point ..

Something changed along the line . along the years my mentality changed . At 15 something I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism . I wasn't exactly crestfallen but I had my sorrow locked away deep inside . I had to tackle with the symptoms of the medical condition .

I prayed moderately . I later found hypnosis in around 2009 in the months following September .

I first checked if it was validated in Islam . Of course I turned to Muslim Clerics . They mostly rejected it as evil just like old Christian Priests .

I distanced subconsciously from traditional Islam a lil more .

I experimented with Hypnosis , found meditation .... experimented a lil more .... I was able to temporarily change my Iris colour to a lighter shade ( see Mind over Matter ) .. I secretly declared myself as an monotheist agnostic . I firmly believed that there is a god .... He is and he exists . I was not sure about religion but I remained spiritual . I reviewed all religions and found that they all suppressed new thought . They all wanted monopoly over the path to GOD .

So I furthered myself from Traditional Islam . I even asked my Grandpa if I could Follow just the Quran and nothing else . He answered in the affirmative . I rejoiced . I realized that Islam had been kept from me . A conspiracy it seemed . As of now I am an agnostic .

I discovered this site yesterday . Something urged me to google ''can I follow th Quran alone'' and ''are their only three prayers '' I don't know where these suggestions came from but they were as real as any other thought that takes it birth in the matrix of my being ( I feel that these suggestions were divine ).
Traditionalists would slaughter me for even thinking about these matters . But I felt that GOD is ablove this . Why would he provide me with a faculty to reason myself with the trivialities of the Universe ? Just to transform myself into a religious robot ?

Picking from where I left off .
I got a bible .... I examined it . It contained mainly stories moral ones , some were nasty by today's standards .
Oh have I mentioned that I am a conspiracy theorist . before discovering this site I was well aware of 9/11 conspiracies , illuminatist conspiracies and much more .

During my transition from Muslim to agnostic I prayed less and less fervently .... My Quranic recitations decreased day by day .

But now you have given me hope .

    Wait .... I

At the time of writing this post I have suddenly recollected that I had prayed truly .asking the only GOD to guide me and ...asked him ..PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOU ...I INTEND TO RIGHT MY WRONGS ....

You see when I have a craving(prayer) for something GOD gives it to me when he sees fit ..all power if with him .I have this unusual craving for truth .

Example - I had this unusual craving/desire to know more about the mysterious nature of the human subconscious ... but all in vain a few days went by .... I took my mind off of it
I then went to a book store to buy some IIT-Jee books .... on a lonely shelf by the corner was a sole book
The power of your subconscious mind by Dr Joseph Murphy .. The title was enticing so I bought it then and there . I was able to use Hypnosis and Meditation to their true extents .

    Now I have you .

I can restore my faith ....?

What I see in some religions like those eastern ones is their intuitive wisdom which overlaps with many Scientific concepts . I now believe that God tries to uplift everyone from ignorance of his existence by many ways . Indian seers(self-proclaimed) try to find GOD and together with their imaginations create religious concepts . May I remind you that hinduism is monotheistic in nature but it is ancient and has chnaged over the millenia .

Should I go by what GOD's book says or what sect/religion I was born into ?

I don't want to burn in hell forever .

I also always protested the Islamic concept of 'music is haraam'.
If Prophet David was given hymn . Why can't we use music .. ones of GOD's beautiful creations.

I am sorry the thread is incoherent and lacks taste and vigor .

I will write more about me soon .

Right at the moment I am behind hundreds of proxies using VPN tunnels .

I want to live to see the glory of GOD ( when alive) and then die to go to my creator .

    Please pardon my typos ...

You should never take things lightly. People who do that are like sponges. If you put a sponge into a bowl of water the sponge will take in all water.

When I was younger I was a Christian (Seventh Day Adventist). I was very inquisitive when i was young. I read a lot of religious books. By the time I was around 11 or 12 i decided that i didn't want to be an Adventist again. This came about after I had read a book that Ellen G. White wrote which had a few discrepancies that didn't resonate well with me. For example in one of 'Ellen G. White's vision's ' she said that she 'saw Jesus with long flowing hair and cream/white skin coming down in the clouds'. I read the Bible often back then. And i knew that what she said couldn't have made any sense since in Paul's writings he said that it is a shame for a man to have long hair. And this is coming from a disciple that claimed to have seen Jesus in vision! That's when i knew that Mrs. White was talking a load of crap!

A couple of years passed by during which were very difficult since I felt the need to 'fit in with a group/sect' So I did a lot of background studies on different religious sects. Finally as God would see it fit something happened that completely changed my perspective on Christianity.

It happened around when i was 17 year's old. The cable company placed a new channel on air called IBN (Islamic Broadcasting Network). With this channel and God's guidance a lot of the 'troubling things' that i never knew exited in Christianity were highlighted to me for the first time.

One of the main things that lead me out of Christian was the fact that the Bible had many (and I mean many contradictions.) This was something that i was never aware of. For the first time I almost felt somewhat lost. This was because I had always believed in God and I had always hoped that there was a correct "Way" to be followed. How could God judge the world with a book with contradictions? It's like a teacher giving a textbook with mistakes for a student to past an exam. If the student fails who's the blame. Isn't it the teacher? It was then that I started studying the Quran for the first time. During that period i felt i had 'reached my group/sect' The quran was like no other book. It had scientific signs that couldn't have possibly been known to Muhammad!

It was a few weeks later that i started to study the hadiths (since it was customary among Muslims). During that period of my life (which was still in my teens) I came across another path which God had made me aware of.

One day I was surfing on the Internet for a electronic Quran when I came across one at www.submission.org . When i downloaded it and started to read it I was appalled at some of 'the corruption that was being taught' They said that the Quran alone was to be used and that there was another Messenger after Muhammad (Dr.Rashad Khalifa) ! This was something that at the time i thought had to be some sort of cult group.

After a few weeks my curiosity got the better of me so i decided to read what they had to say. At first I was skeptical but then slowly but surely i started to believe what they were saying. This at the time had mostly to do with the 19 based miracle in the Quran. At that time i was adamant that what they were saying made sense (since God said more than once that the Quran that the 'Quran is fully detailed'. The Quran should be our only source of religious guidance and NOT the hadiths which are filled with contradictions!!! It was only then that i realized that the same logic i had used for leaving christianity i DIDN"T use it when it came to the Hadiths and Sunna which had 10 tens more contradictions than the Bible!!!!

About two years passed at which i was certain that i had 'reached the understanding of what needed to be done' At last I didn't realized that i was to be guided by God yet again.

About a few days ago (and i do mean a few days ago from today) I started checking up on sites with " Quran alone " and came across this http//www.yuksel.org/e/religion/submitters.htm

What made me believe that what was happing in Masjid Tucson was a test was becuase of the fact that the submitters in Masjid Tucson blindly believed the footnotes and appendices of Dr.Khalifa.

Let me make this very clear right now....there is no doubt in my mind that Dr Rashad Khalifa was the Messenger to come after Muhammad (read , 381, 337) The reason why i believe this is because he was one of the first who made a very clear statement that resonates with me today. (only the Quran can be used as a source of guidance) Besides that he came with a sign and this was with the unveiling of the 19 based mathematically code AND the removal of the two false verses in sura 9 ( 128 & 129) ! However what i had failed to realized and also most of the people in Masjid Tucson is that he was a man! He made mistakes just like all the Messengers in past! I was blindly studying his appendices based on HIS interpretation of the Quran and not what is necessarily factually!!! For example if the Quran alone is to be used why do the people in Masjid Tucson pray five times a day AND in a language in which they are not familiar with? Why would God ask his servants to praise him in an language which more than half of the world do not speak? If I wanted to ask God for something why would i have to pray in Arabic???? Has God made us into parrots that only mimic words but don't understand or comprehend???

Now for the first time in my life I know that I am on the 'right path'. For the first time I finally understood that God is the teacher of the Quran 552. Dr.Rashad Khalifa at the time was still LEARNING the Quran. His studies were never completed. God took his life early (in my view) to test those who truly believed (and understood) from those who have disbelieved.

For anyone who wishes to study the Quran remember Sura (552). Never take things for granted even what the admins of this site or other sites say (Read 1736) Approach the Quran with a clear mind and in sincerity and God will open your heart into understanding it.

The lesson I learnt Never be like a sponge! Verify things for yourself. Don't depend on other people to give you the correct answer because if a messenger of God can make mistakes so can any scholar or Einstein. GOD IS THE TEACHER OF THE QURAN! So God will guide me and those who sincerely seek wisdom to the correct path.

Greetings and peace, Syed and all group

Monotheism is the right path. The man-made names/labels are not important. Islam is a straight path, but a path...not a religion. Shun ritual, and all "additives."

Your path belongs to you alone. It sounds like you are on a right path. All glory to ALLAH for guiding all monotheists!

May ALLAH see fit to guide all seekers.

        peace

          Question for KDC501
If a person truly believes in Quran and its teaching and truly a monoteist, but is not comfortable to accept Dr. Rashad Khalifa as messenger of Allah. Would you consider him to be on the right path or is it a must, in your opinion, to follow Dr. Rashad Khalifa is a must to be on the right path.

            Salam renegeadeangel,

Welcome to the community. I pray to Allah that he always guides us to the straight path. As for me, I follow the Qur'an alone for religious teachings. Since Allah commands that, I am in no doubt. I hope Allah makes life easy for you and increases you in knowledge and understanding.

As for the Rashad khalifa part, well, the reason I accepted Muhammad as the seal of the nabis and as a nabi, is because Allah said so. There is nothing more about the messenger that is of my interest. His job was to do a fine delivery, he did it. As a slave of Allah, my job is to obey the message. I am striving to do it. So any new messengers, in past of future is kind of pointless for me. As for me personally, I am still studying the 19 numerology thing.

            ----------------------- Student of Allah

                  No!---It is not so!

The Right Path is made clear in Allah's Exalted Quran.

But, indeed, the acceptance is unique to each person.

As I define it? No, you're not. Why the heck should you care anyway?

Keep learning what you desire to learn, the power to change is indeed within you and me. If you find yourself balanced, then why not trust what you're given? The efficacy of prayers is not in weeping all night--it is right in your belief that it's working without doubt.

Don't throw away the Quran just yet. You might find out new insights to its verses as you follow your own path.

Conspiracy theories, burning in hell... that reflects fear. Think about this carefully Do you think there is God in fear? Can you be with God and be fearful at the same time?

                          Salaam,

We can't really say whether you are on the right path or not. It is something that you have to feel, and reflect yourself. Only God really knows, and all you have to do now is what your heart feels is right. Ask yourself if what you are following and practicing makes you feel peaceful, and a better person. If you live your days in agony for something that you think is religious or for God, then you need to stop, and consider that something is wrong and needs a 'lil adjustment. Belief system or spirituality is supposed to make you more at ease, and not burdened or frustrated.

So take time, reflect and decide for yourself. Don't think too much about 'hell', think of the 'paradise' that you can create here on earth instead. It will make the journey much more fulfilling

Peace be upon you Syed.. and welcome to the forum..

I would like to add some (not so serious) remarks on your posting..

I got a bible .... I examined it . It contained mainly stories moral ones , some were nasty by today's standards .
Oh have I mentioned that I am a conspiracy theorist . before discovering this site I was well aware of 9/11 conspiracies , illuminatist conspiracies and much more .

I found the bible 'revealing', yes there are nasty and ridiculous stories within.. but nevertheless by reading the bible it really clear up some of my questions. For example

                            1. Have you noticed that even within the Bible, there are no detailed instruction on how to do prayers? I concluded that the technicality of 'praying' is not important. Yet we found that many sectarian folks debating over it. And it does make sense, talking to God should be more intimate and personal than talking to our own parents! Does anyone ever asked on the 'detailed instruction' on how to talk to their parents?
                            2. Especially on the 'gospel' part (Jesus chapter), again Jesus doesn't even bring up or make a fuss over 'rites'. Furthermore he criticized the priest of paying too much attention over rites (sabbath ruling, how to do sacrifice etc..) which actually doesn't matter yet abandoned the essence of the biblical teachings which are more important. 'Sabbath are for men not men for Sabbath' thus saith he..
                            3. During jesus era there are debate regarding the true location of "God's temple" whether it is in Jerusalem or Mount Girzim, yet he responded with 'it doesn't matter as both will be destroyed in a nearby future and God doesn't need any temple'. (note and here on this forum we have a debate whether it is Mekka or Jerusalem)
                            4. A strong condemnation of bribery and corruption which I found 'missing' in the Quran. There are part where God condemned the Judges who take bribes.

Regarding 'conspiracy', dude do not take everything that you hear are true...
The jews are not that powerful.. to me conspiracy stories are much worse than the hadith...

You see when I have a craving(prayer) for something GOD gives it to me when he sees fit ..all power if with him .I have this unusual craving for truth .

Yup.. every prayer shall be answered..
"Seek and you shall find, ask and you shall received" another great quote from the Gospel..

Yes .. before they fell into 'god's avatar' worshiping (such as Krishna worshiping which in many ways bear similarity with Jesus worshiping by the christians or Muhammad worshiping by the muhammedans). God's name in Veda is Brahmam or Om in Upanishad.
                            http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brahman

Should I go by what GOD's book says or what sect/religion I was born into ?

You should go by what God said you to do..
If you ever feel confused.. then ask Him!
                            "Ask and you shall received"...

I also always protested the Islamic concept of 'music is haraam'.
If Prophet David was given hymn . Why can't we use music .. ones of GOD's beautiful creations.

LOL.. this show the 'double standard' on sunniism, they say music is 'haraam' while the adzan and the quran recitation itself is a music too!

I want to live to see the glory of GOD ( when alive) and then die to go to my creator .

There are countless signs of God's glory on your everyday life.. you just have to be sensitive enough to realize it..
And by the way.. your soul 'return' to God nearly everyday... when you're sleeping.. (3942)

                            Salam / Peace / Shanti
