To study such a thing is relatively easy.
Method
Find any verse in The Quran with the word "shaytan" in it.
If you dont know any type into google "quran shaytan" and you will find some.Go to http//corpus.quran.com
Type in the verse (top right) press enter.
Read the verse and when you get to the word "shaytan" click on it and it will bring up its every occurrence within The Quran.It will also give you the root at the top "Shin-Tay-Nun".
Look that up in http//www.studyquran.co.uk/PRLonline.htmTake your time and read every occurrence, and ponder over them.

Peace Wakas. I have gone to the corpus link that you have provided and I typed in shaytan and it said that my search didn't match any documents. Then I tried Satan and shaitan and the same thing hapened. Maybe its because I am on the phone. I don't have a computer any more. Just a phone. Still a preaty good phone thank God but not ad effective as a computer for the internet. Either way it would be good to hear other peoples opinions. I think that the shaitan can do more than just wisper into hearts and minds. But that's a personal opinion. Thanks

Good answer from Wakas there. And if you already accept that satan influences your mind, you are on a good path to rejection of him. Exactly how he operates, well he is an enemy of mankind. And he is going to lead them astray. This is stated in quranic verses dealing with Satan.
In Buddhism, Mara, which is the buddhistic satan, is also the master of illusion. And what worse illusion that polytheism can exist?
Many religions have a similar spirit, that is to be supressed, it is evil, and benefits none. In the Quran, it is repeatedly stated that the disbelievers,go against themself. In other words, they compromise themselves.
Supression of Satan, leads to purification, and increasing closeness to the truth. I do believe, that when the believer has done this for a while, say several years, he lives naturally more harmonically with God. One may debate, if the best of these, gain gnosis through the same technique, or the same technique performed with strong dicipline.
But by all means, read the verses. Lots of junk is posted online, so I can understand if you can accept what I am saying directly.

Wakas, I tried your suggestion again but couldn't navigate. It gave me verses in Arabic. But before you get anoyed by my failure I have to say that I have gone to the study quran link that you have in your signature and have navigate really well through there. So after reading all the verses that mention Satan and taking in to consideration my lifts experiences I soul still say that he is preaty much involved in almost everything we do. I soul say that he either can be at many places at once or that be is spiritualy conected to his other evil jins and they soul be synchronized like a mashine. More you do wrong, more power he has over you and God can let him give you a hard time if you don't obey God. So further you go it would be harder to come back such is common sense. So obeying God would be the only way for protection. First of all obviously you have to believe in God(in case a non believer reads this). I would say that you have to balance out reason with your heart preaty well to come to know the truth. Anyway Satan has his fingers in a lot on earth. Thanks
