      Al Salam alukom

Will first. The profit said" " which means that the best people at all times are the people at the time of the profit, then the people who followed them at the second century and then the third.

      Allah said
      { }
The vanguard (of Islam) the first of those who forsook (their homes) and of those who gave them aid, and (also) those who follow them in (all) good deeds, well pleased is God with them, as are they with him for them hath he prepared gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever that is the supreme felicity

Al Imam Malik SaidNothing is good for the latter generations of this ummah except that which was good for its first generations.

Which means that the religion is complete, and that the ancestors have told us all the religion, and that before we say or do something at religion we should see what they did first.

And as you see here we aren't speaking about life issues, when the profit said "All innovations are innovations of misguidance". which means innovations at religion not life issues.

I wasn't speaking about the nick name specifically, but about a method and a way.

      Allah said " "

Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from his path, and who receive guidance

And regarding our relationship between us and Allah, it isn't a relation between a student and a teacher, it is a relation between a slave and a creator, the profit the best man at all, said i am only a slave of Allah and his profit.

      Allah said

It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered an apostle from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom,- although they had been, before, in manifest error;(Jumah622)

So as you can see that Allah sent to us a profit, and the profit is the one who instructed and taught us.

      finally

which means people to their scholars like kids to their fathers.

The religion is so complete we don't need to think. 'Them before thy brains!'

Ever read the seerah (of the Prophet, not the profit)? Remember "Lion of Allah", "Sword of Allah"? And here's someone using the ID "Student of Allah"...

What is your argument really? To follow the Ahl Sunnah wal Jama'ah, 1st gen?

          Welcome!

(this post is for the newcomer, peace on you too)

            Follow the righteous ancestors..

Yes I'm so familiar with this kind of bunch.. and their jargons..
They're the 'Salaful Al-Salih'.. (The pious predecessors) the yet another sectarian branch of a sectarian group called sunnism...
Albeit they themselves reject 'sectarianism' (read other groups are sectarians while they are not sectarian, although they themselves show the characteristics of sectarian themselves)

Within their group they also split into smaller smaller multiple groups...
Among those groups there are those who are crazily obsessed with 'salvation from Mahdi' ideas. They managed to do a 'mini rebellion'..

I will not continue in this argument, because some of you have gone away from the right way of argument, and aren't behaved with the manners of the prophet peace upon him in argument.

But i want to say one last thing to Jafar.

Beware of what you say about Allah, and learn before you speak, what i mean by this, what you said

The Arabs (al-arabu) are the worst in rejection and hypocrisy, and more likely not to know the limits of what God has sent upon His messenger
              997

Allah never said Arabs, but he said "" Nomads. And there is a big difference between them if you knew.

But certainly it's far away from Nomads ("Those who are wandering / doesn't have any fixed settlement&quot..

First of all the verse says "" and there is a difference between arab "" and Nomads ""

(The Nomads are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy, and more likely to not know the limits which Allah has revealed to His Messenger.)

                  That the first thing.

                  The second thing

The Arabs aren't a recent nation as you said.

The arabs are divided into more than one type, and they exist before ismail son of ibrahim peace upon them, and they are divided of pure arabs (originally from yemen) and ( &#1607 which means became arabs and weren't originally arabs.

And if you said that in the verse that it means that the people who lives at the desert, so in this way you are insulting the companions and the first generation.

And the profit said " " (there is no difference between an Arab and an Ajam (not an Arab), only by goodness?. )

So at the end there is a big difference between arabs, at which the profit is one of them, and the Nomads whom where mentioned at the verse

                  Pre Islamic Arabia

The Arabian Peninsula was largely arid and volcanic, making agriculture difficult except near oases or springs. The landscape was thus dotted with towns and cities, two prominent ones being Mecca and Medina. Medina was a large flourishing agricultural settlement, while Mecca was an important financial center for many surrounding tribes. Communal life was essential for survival in the desert conditions, as people needed support against the harsh environment and lifestyle. Tribal grouping was encouraged by the need to act as a unit, this unity being based on the bond of kinship by blood. Indigenous Arabs were either nomadic or sedentary, the former constantly travelling from one place to another seeking water and pasture for their flocks, while the latter settled and focused on trade and agriculture. Nomadic survival was also dependent on raiding caravans or oases, the nomads not viewing this as a crime.

In pre-Islamic Arabia, gods or goddesses were viewed as protectors of individual tribes, their spirits being associated with sacred trees, stones, springs and wells. As well as being the site of an annual pilgrimage, the Kaaba shrine in Mecca housed 360 idol statues of tribal patron deities. Aside from these gods, the Arabs shared a common belief in a supreme deity called Allah (literally "the god&quot, who was remote from their everyday concerns and thus not the object of cult or ritual. Three goddesses were associated with Allah as his daughters Allt, Mant and al-?Uzz?. Monotheistic communities existed in Arabia, including Christians and Jews. Hanifs ? native pre-Islamic Arab monotheists ? are also sometimes listed alongside Jews and Christians in pre-Islamic Arabia, although their historicity is disputed amongst scholars. According to Muslim tradition, Muhammad himself was a Hanif and one of the descendants of Ishmael, son of Abraham.

                    Salam all,

I received the following message from a brother in the forum who was highly concerned about my forum name "Student of Allah"

The message ( in red )
                    Al Salam alukom

                    How you doing first?

Your nick name took my attention, as you know my friend that we should be following the Ancestors, and as far as a know that we can be called the students of the profit, and that the teaches isn't from the names of Allah, but from his names the All-Knowing (Aleem), and that the scholars and the ancestors never used this name before (Student of Allah) (All the good things in following the ancestors and all the evil at the Innovation of the successors), And Allah knows much better.

                    My open response

                    1. I did not get the part about following ancestors ? What do you mean my brother , are you saying that the prophets should have been idol worshiper as their ancestors ? or do you mean that I should not ride a Lamborghini because my forefathers rode camels ? or you mean that you should not use the internet because your ancestors have not used it ?

                    2. Now comes the part of explaining my name "Student of Allah". Even though its pretty much straight forward, some people do need explanations. We agree that Allah explains the Qur'an. We know that Allah teaches us by the Pen(knowledge). We know that Allah allows us to learn , otherwise it would be impossible for us to even understand that we exist. Allah's words inspired me to explore so many areas of science and human psychology etc. Allah is my teacher, without His will, not a single atom in my brain would function. So my primary teacher is the teacher of the worlds, the source of knowledge, Allah. I have absolute faith that this teacher does not teach me the wrong thing.

Now if your scholars are afraid to give all the credits to Allah, why not go and question them instead ?

                    May Allah guide us all

                    PEACE

                    ------ Student of Allah

Some people get far too serious about their ideas. Taking a step back and looking at things in context is what I feel we really should be doing. Your name is awesome, keep it, I see nothing at all wrong with it in the slightest. Party on.

Pure Arabs from Yemen?? LOL )

The Quran does say and this is undebatable "Al-Arabu ashadu kufran wa nifaqa"..

Anyway dude I'm not going to debate further on the meaning of Al-A'rabu with you here...
To me Al-A'rabu mean Al-A'rabu... literally translated as "The Arabs" or "The Desert People" .. not 'Nomads'..

I understand your POV now given you're a 'salaf'.. and you shall do your best to defend 'the righteous ancestors'...

Please note that within other section of the Quran, it also said that "Not all Arabs are like that, and there are also arabs who are basically good people".. I left you to seek out that verse yourself..

                      Having said that..

The reason that I mentioned that specific verse is.. because I DO AGREE WITH IT!
The arabs sunnis , salafis included, often mentioned verses from Quran which promotes their own view of hatred and stereotyping towards other sectarian groups.. especially towards Jews (Yehudim) and Christians. While they NEVER do a self-criticism that the same book also did mentioned the same bad things (if not worse) about their own..
This is a blatant indicator of HYPOCRISY!..

As with the case about Al-Arabu/The Arabs there are also verses which mentioned that "Not all of them (Jews/Xtians) are like that, there are also those who are really good people".

That is of course a small example, there are many others example of hypocrisy within modern (today) arab society....

Before you, me or anybody else tried to fix other group of society.. better do a self criticism and fix our own...

                      Salam / Peace

                        Salam and Peace on you!

                        Al Salam alukom

Will first. The profit said" " which means that the best people at all times are the people at the time of the profit, then the people who followed them at the second century and then the third.

Did you yourself hear the Prophet saying all this?-----No! Never!
Then how can you claim that the Prophet said this, when he knew nothing of the future

-----"Say (O Messenger) ?I do not say to you that with me are the treasures of Allah, nor that I know the Unseen." (650)

Indeed, the best people of this last Ummah are those who were the Sahaba of the Messenger.
What made them the best of the ummah?-----Indeed, they obeyed the Messenger by following Al-Quran, the way they saw the Messenger himself following It.

So, all those people on the earth, until Al-Qiyamah, who follow Al-Quran, are the best of the ummah.

Which means that the religion is complete, and that the ancestors have told us all the religion, and that before we say or do something at religion we should see what they did first.

                        What is Allah's Quran for???
Is it not a Complete and Fully Detailed Book?

And how can we see our ancestors what they did, when all of them have passed away and are no more with us?---We can not see them, or hear and talk to them.

Allah has stopped us from establishing any kind of relationship with the Sahaba of the Messenger.

-----"That was a nation (the Messengers, their companions) which has passed away. For them is that which they earned, and for you is that which you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do." (Al-Baqarah-134)

Allah's Quran is what the Messenger himself followed, what the Sahaba followed, and what we have to follow.

And regarding our relationship between us and Allah, it isn't a relation between a student and a teacher, it is a relation between a slave and a creator, the profit the best man at all, said i am only a slave of Allah and his profit.

-----"The Beneficent. Has taught the Quran. He has created man. He has taught him speech." (551-4)

What do you call the one who teaches you?-----Indeed, Teacher.

So, Allah who created us, is our Creator.
The Creator taught us to speak.
And The Creator taught us His Exalted Quran.

So, Allah is The Teacher, indeed.

So, the fact is that the Messenger is not with us. He has passed away.
In fact, It was Allah's Quran with which the Messenger taught people.
So, Allah's Quran is with us. The Easiest Book on the face of the earth.
Read it and follow Its Teachings.

                        finally

which means people to their scholars like kids to their fathers.

The above words are not a Verse from Al-Quran.

There is no institution of Clergies in Al-Quran. We don't need any Imam/Scholar/teacher as such, when Allah Himself is The Teacher.

                          Salam and Peace on you!

So, the fact is that the Messenger is not with us. He has passed away.
In fact, It was Allah's Quran with which the Messenger taught people.
So, Allah's Quran is with us. The Easiest Book on the face of the earth.
Read it and follow Its Teachings.

The above words are not a Verse from Al-Quran.

There is no institution of Clergies in Al-Quran. We don't need any Imam/Scholar/teacher as such, when Allah Himself is The Teacher.

                          " , , " . .

This is the link between us and the profit, and that's why that the companions are much better than us, because Allah made them one of the reasons to protect that religion, and our Quran is protected since more than 1400 years, memorized at the chests and the books, and no one can delete or increase even one letter, that's why our friend jafar can't delete the letter he wants to delete and change the meaning of the Quran, and that the difference between us and jewish and christians, since they don't have a link to their profits, and that's why they increased and decreased at their books as they want.

That first and second, if you are using your head, or I am not sure if you ever read the holy Quran before, when Mousi and Alkedr met, and Elkedr made hole at the ship, and so on... and at the end he said And none of what I did was of my own accord, although what he did was depending in the future, because Allah taught him some of the future.

Same for the profit, he doesn't know the future, even the angles don't know the future, but Allah told him about some of the future.

Like what he said that before the hour, the killing will increase, and as we can see know people are killed daily without a reason, the killer don't know why he killed, and the one who was killed don't know why he was killed.

And what he told that the women will increase and the men will decrease, which we can see right now.

And a lot and a lot.

                            The Preservation of Sunnah
                            Monday, 11 October 2010 1913 Mohammed Ibrahim
                            E-mail Print PDF

"Verily, it is We who have sent down the Dhikr, (i.e. the Qu'ran) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption)." (Al-Hijr 159)

In this verse, Allah has assured the preservation of the Qur'an. This implies that the Qur'an will remain unchanged and that it shall always be transferred from one generation to the other in its real and original form, undistorted by any foreign element. The question before us is whether protection is restricted to the words of the Qur'an or does it extend to its meanings. If the Prophetic explanation is necessary to understand the Qur'an correctly, then the preservation of the Qur'anic words alone cannot serve the purpose unless the Prophetic explanations are also preserved.

"And We have also sent down unto you the Reminder and the Advice (the Qur'an) that you may explain clearly to the people what has been sent down for them" (An-Nahl 1644)

The word ?Dhikr' has been used here to mean the Qur'an and it has been made clear that the people can only benefit from its guidance when they are led by the explanations of the Prophet .

Again the words "to the people" in the ayah indicate that the Prophet's explanation is always needed by everyone. If everyone in every age is in need of the Prophetic explanation, without which they CANNOT fully comprehend the Qur'an, how would it be useful for them to preserve the Qur'anic text and leave its Prophetic explanation at the mercy of distorters, extending to it no type of protection whatsoever.

Therefore, once the necessity of the Prophetic explanations of the Qur'an is accepted, it will be self contradictory to claim that these explanations are unavailable today. It will amount to negating the protection, because it is in no way a wise policy to establish the necessity of the Sunnah on the one hand, and to make its discovery (preservation) impossible on the other. Such a deficiency cannot be attributed to Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

What follows is a brief account of the measures taken by the Ummah to preserve the Sunnah of the Prophet .

Different Ways of Preserving the Ahadith

As we shall see, the Sahabah (raa) of the Prophet committed a large number of Ahadith to writing. Yet, the ink and paper was not the sole means of their preservation. There were many other ways.

                            1. Memorization

The Sahabah (raa) of the Prophet use to learn Ahadith by heart. The Prophet said "May Allah bestow vigour to a person who hears my saying and learns it by heart, then conveys it to others exactly as he hears it?." (Tirmidhi)

The Sahabah (raa) were eager to follow this Hadith and used to devote a considerable amount of time for committing Ahadith to their memories. A large number of them left their homes and began to live in the Mosque of the Prophet so that they may hear the Ahadith directly from the mouth of the Prophet .They spent all their time exclusively in securing the Ahadith in their hearts. The Arabs had such strong memories that they would easily memorize hundreds of verses of their poetry. Nearly all of them knew by heart detailed pedigrees of not only themselves, but also their horses and camels. Even their children had enough knowledge of the pedigrees of different tribes. Hammad is a famous narrator of Arab poetry. It is reported that he knew by heart one hundred long poems for each letter from their alphabet, meaning that he knew three thousand and thirty eight long poems (Al-A'lam by Zrikli 2131)

The Arabs were so proud of their power of memorization that they placed more confidence in it than in writing. Some poets deemed it a blemish to preserve their poetry in writing. They believed that writings on paper can be tampered with, while the memory cannot be distorted by anyone. If any poets have written some of their poems, they did not like to disclose this fact, because it would be indicative of a defect in their memory (Al-Aghani V.61 P611)

The Sahabah (raa) utilized this memory for preserving Ahadith which they deemed to be the only source of guidance along with the Qur'an. It is obvious that their enthusiasm towards the preservation of Ahadith far exceeded their zeal for preserving their poetry and literature. They used their memory in respect of Ahadith with more vigor and more precaution.

Abu Hurairah (ra), the famous companion of the Prophet who has reported 5374 Ahadith, says, "I have divided my night into three parts. In one third of the night I perform Salah, in one third I sleep and in one third I memorize the Ahadith of the Prophet ." (Sunan Darimi)

At one time, Marwan, the governor of Madinah, tried to test his memory. He invited him to his house where he asked him to narrate some Ahadith. Marwan simultaneously ordered his scribe Abu Zu-aizi-ah to sit behind a curtain and write the Ahadith reported by Abu Hurairah (ra). The scribe recorded the Ahadith. After a year he invited Abu Hurairah (ra) again and requested him to repeat what he narrated last year, and likewise ordered Abu Zu'aizi'ah to sit behind a curtain and compare the present words of Abu Hurairah with the Ahadith he had already written previously. Abu Hurairah (ra) began to repeat the Ahadith while Abu Zu'aizi'ah compared them. He found that Abu Hurairah did not leave a single word, nor did he change any word from his earlier narration's. (AE Bidayaah wa Nahayah and Wa Seer Alam al NibIaa' Lil Zahabi)

In addition, the scholars of Hadith developed the science of Asma ?ur-Rijal by which they have deduced reliable means to test the memory power of each narrator of Ahadith. They never accepted any Hadith as reliable unless all of its narrators were proved to have high memory standards.

Thus, "memory-power" in the Science of Hadith is not a vague term of general nature. It is a technical term having specified criteria to test the veracity of narrators. A great number of scholars of the sciences of "Asma ?ur-Rijal" and "Jarh and Ta'dil" have devoted their lives to examine the reporters of Hadith on that criteria. Their task was to judge the memory power of each narrator and to record objective opinions about them.

                            1. Discussions

The second source of preservation of Ahadith was by mutual discussions held by the Sahabah (raa). Whenever they came to know of a new Sunnah, they used to narrate it to others. Thus, all the Sahabah (raa) would tell each other what they had learnt from the Prophet . This was to comply with the specific directions given by the Prophet in this respect. Here are some Ahadith to this effect

"Those present should convey (my Sunnah) to those absent." (Bukhari)

"Convey to others on my behalf, even though it be a single verse." (Bukhari)

"May Allah grant vigour to a person who listens to my saying and learns it by heart until he conveys it to others." (Tirmidhi)

"You hear (my sayings) and others will hear from you, then others will hear from them." (Abu Da'wud)

The Prophet motivated the Sahabah (raa) to study the Ahadith in their meetings. The word used for this study is Tadarus which means "to teach each other." One person would narrate a particular Hadith to the other, and in turn, he would repeat it to the first, and so on. The purpose was to learn it correctly. Each one would listen to the other's version and correct his mistake, if any. The result of this Tadarus (discussion) was to remember the Ahadith as firmly as possible. The Prophet has held this process of Tadarus to be more meritorious with Allah than the individual rituals of worship throughout the night.

The Prophet said "Tadarus (discussion) of knowledge for any period of time in the night, is better than spending the entire night in worship" (Jam'ia Bayan at urn lbn Adul Berr)

Moreover, the Prophet has also warned, that it is a major sin to hide a word of ?knowledge' whenever it is asked for

"Whoever is questioned pertaining to such knowledge that he has and thereafter conceals it, will be bridled by a rein of fire." (Tirmidhi)

At another occasion the Prophet explained that the concealment of ?knowledge' is in itself a major sin, even thought the person having that knowledge is not asked about it. He said "Whoever conceals knowledge which can be benefited from, will come on the Day of Judgement bridled with a rein of fire." (Jam'ia Bayan Al Ilm Ibn Abdul Berr)

The Hadith makes it clear that the disclosure of knowledge is an inherent obligation on each knowledgeable person, no matter whether he is asked about it or not. The frequent discussions have played an important role in the preservation of the Sunnah. It was by the virtue of these discussions that the Ahadith known only by some individuals were conveyed to others, and the circle of narrators gradually expanded. Since these discussions were carried out at a time when the Prophet was himself present among them, they had the full opportunity to confirm the veracity of what has been conveyed to them in this process, and some of them actually did so.

                            1. Practice

The third way of preservation of the Sunnah was to bring it into practice.

The knowledge of Sunnah was not merely a theoretical understanding, nor were the teachings of the Prophet merely philosophical disposition. They were and are intimately connected to the affairs of this life. The Prophet did not confine himself to giving lessons and sermons, he also trained the Sahabah (raa) practically. Whatever they absorbed from the Prophet , they spared no effort to bring it into actual practice.

Thus, the entire atmosphere was one of following the Sunnah. The Sunnah was not a verbal report only, it was a living practice, a wide spread behavior and a current fashion manifesting itself in all concerns of society, in all the affairs of their daily life.

Therefore, constant practice in accordance with dictates of the Sunnah was another major factor which advanced the process of preserving the Sunnah.

                            1. Writing

The fourth way of preserving the Ahadith was through the pen. Quite a large number of the Sahabah (raa) committed the Ahadith to paper after hearing them from the Prophet . It is true that in the beginning the Prophet had forbidden some of his Sahabah (raa) from writing anything other than the verses of the Qur'an. However, this prohibition was not because the Ahadith had no authoritative value, but because the Prophet had in the same breath ordered them to orally narrate his Ahadith. The full text of the relevant Hadith is as follows

"Do not write (what you hear) from me, and whoever has written something (he heard) from me, he should erase it. Narrate to others (what you hear) from me and whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me, he should prepare his seat in the Fire." (Muslim)

The underlined phrase of the Hadith clarifies that the prohibition for writing Hadith was not on account of negating its authority. The actual reason was that in the beginning of the revelation of the Qur'an, the Sahabah (raa) were not fully familiar with the Qur'anic style, nor was the Qur'an compiled in a separate book form. In those days some Sahabah (raa) began to write the Ahadith along with the Qur'anic text. It was therefore feared that it would lead to mixing the Qur'anic text with the Ahadith.

But this was the case in the earlier period of his Prophethood. When the Sahabah (raa) became fully conversant of the style of the Qur'an and writing paper became available, this transitory measure of precaution was eliminated, because the danger of mixing the Qur'an with the Ahadith no longer existed.

At this stage, the Prophet himself directed his companions to write down the Ahadith. Some of his instructions in this respect are quoted below

                            1. One Sahabi (ra) from the Ansar complained to the Prophet that he hears from him some Ahadith, but he sometimes forgets them. The Prophet said "Seek help from your right hand and pointed to a writing." (Tirmidhi)

                            2. Rafe' ibn Khadij (ra), says, "I said to the Prophet we hear from you many things, should we write them down?" He replied "You may write. There is no harm." (Tadrib ar-Rarawi)

                            3. ?Abdullah ibn ?Amr ibn al-'Aas reported that the Prophet said to him "Preserve Knowledge." He asked, "and how should it be preserved?" The Prophet replied "Writing it."

In another report he says, "I came to the Prophet and told him, "I want to narrate your Ahadith. So, I want to take assistance of my handwriting besides my heart. Do you deem it fit for me? The Prophet replied, "If it is my Hadith, you may seek help from your hand besides your heart." (Darimi)

It was for this reason that he used to write Ahadith frequently. He himself says, "I used to write whatever I heard from the Prophet and wanted to learn it by heart. Some people of the Quraysh dissuaded me and said, "Do you write everything you hear from the Prophet , while he is a human being and sometimes he may be in anger as any other human beings may be?" (Abu Da'wud)

They meant that the Prophet might say something in a state of anger which he did not seriously intend. So, one should be selective in writing this Ahadith. ?Abdullah ibn ?Amr conveyed their opinion to the Prophet . In reply, the Prophet pointed to his lips and said,

"I swear by the One in Whose hands is the soul of Muhammad, nothing comes out from these two (lips) except truth. So, do write." (Abu Da'wud)

In compliance to this order, ?Abdullah ibn ?Amr wrote a large number of Ahadith and compiled them in a book from which he named "Al Sahifah al Sadiqah."

These examples are more than sufficient to prove that the writing of Ahadith was not only permitted but also ordered by the Prophet and that the earlier ban against writing was only for a transitory period to avoid the possible mixing between the verses of the Qur'an and the Ahadith.

After this transitory period, the fear of mixing ended, the bar was lifted and the companions were persuaded to preserve Ahadith in a written form. When we study individual efforts of the companions for compiling Ahadith, we find that thousands of Ahadith were written in the very days of the Prophet and the four Khalifs. The following is a brief account of some outstanding compilations of Ahadith in that early period. It will, at least, refute the misconception that the Ahadith were not compiled during the first three centuries!

The Transcript of Sadaqah by ?Abdullah bin ?Amr bin aI-'Aas

                            1. The Prophet has dictated detailed documents containing rules of Shari'ah about the levying of Zakah, and specifying the amount and rate of Zakah in respect of different Zakatable assets. This document was named "al-Sahifah al Sadaqah." ?Abdullah ibn ?Umar (ra) says

"The Prophet dictated the Transcript of Sadaqah and it was sent to his governors when he passed away. He had attached it to his sword. When he passed away, Abu Bakr acted according to it till he passed away, then ?Umar acted according to it till he passed away..." (Tirmidhi)

The text of this transcript is available in several books of Ahadith like the Sunan of Abu Da'wud. Imam Zuhri, the renowned scholar of Hadith used to teach this transcript to his pupils. He used to say

"This is the text of the transcript dictated by the Prophet about the rules of Sadaqah (Zakah). Its original manuscript is with the children of Sayyidina ?Umar. Salim, the grandson of ?Umar had taught it to me. I had learnt it by heart. ?Umar ibn Abdul-'Aziz had procured a copy of this text from Salim and ?Abdullah, the grandsons of ?Umar. I have the same copy with me." (Abu Da'wud)

The Script of ?Amr b. Hazm

In 10 A.H., when Najran was liberated by the Muslims, the Prophet appointed his Sahabi (ra) ?Amr ibn Hazm as governor of the province of Yemen. At this time, the Prophet dictated a detailed transcript to Ubayy ibn Ka'b and handed it over to ?Amr ibn Hazm. This transcript, besides some general advice, contains the rules of Shari'ah about purification, Salah, Zakah, ?Ushr, Hajj Umrah, Jihad, spoils, taxes, Diyah (blood money), administration, education etc. Sayyidina Amr lbn Hazm performed his functions as governor of Yemen in light of this transcript.

After his death this transcript remained with his grandson, Abu Bakr, Irnam Zuhri learned and copied it from him. He used to teach to his pupils. (Al-Wasaig al Siyasiyyah, Dr. Hamidullah)

                            The Scripts of Abu Hurairah

It is well-known that Abu Hurairah (ra) has narrated more Ahadith than any other Sahabi (ra) of the Prophet . The number of Ahadith reported by him is said to be 5374. The reason was that he, after embracing Islam, devoted his full life for the sole purpose of bearing and preserving the Ahadith of the Prophet .

There are concrete evidences to support the understanding that he had preserved the Ahadith in written form. One of his pupils, namely, Hasan ibn ?Amr reports that once

"Abu Hurairah (ra) took him to his home and showed him "many books" containing the Ahadith of the Prophet " (Jam'ia Bayan al lIm and Fath al Bari)

It shows that Abu Hurairah had many scripts of Ahadith with him. It is also established that a number of his pupils had prepared several scripts of his narrations.

                            The Script of Anas

Anas ibn Malik was one of those Sahabi (ra) of the Prophet who knew writing. His mother had brought him to the Prophet when he was ten years old. He remained with the Prophet for ten years during which he heard a large number of Ahadith and wrote them down. Sa'eed ibn Hilal, one of his pupils says

When we insisted upon Anas, he would bring to us some notebooks and say, "These are what I have heard and written from the Prophet after which I have presented them to the Prophet for confirmation." (Mustadrak aI Hakim)

It shows that Anas (ra) had not only written a large number of Ahadith in several note books, but had also showed them to the Prophet who had confirmed them.

                            The Script of ?Ali

It is well known that ?Ali (ra) had a script of Ahadith with him. He says

"I have not written anything from the Prophet except the Qur'an and what is contained in this script." (Bukhani)

Imam Bukhari has mentioned this script in six different places of his Sahih. A combined study of all those places reveals that this script was substantially large and it consisted of Ahadith about Qisas (retaliation), Diyah (blood money), Fidyah (ransom), rights of Ahlul Dhimma (non- Muslim citizens) of the Islamic State, some specific kinds of inheritance, Zakah rules pertaining to camels of different ages, and some rules about the sanctity of the city of Medinah.

The Script was written by ?Ali (ra) in the days of the Prophet . Then, during the early days of the Khilafah, he felt that the Ahadith of the Prophet should be spread among the people to widen the range of Islamic knowledge.

It is reported by the famous historian Ibn Sa'd that he stood in the mosque and delivered a lecture. Then he asked the people, "Who will purchase ?knowledge' for one Dirham only?"

He meant that whoever wanted to learn Ahadith, should buy writing paper for one Dirham and come to him, for dictation of the Ahadith of the Prophet .

                            Scripts of Ibn ?Abbas

?Abdullah ibn Abbas (ra) was the cousin of the Prophet . When the Prophet passed away, he was very young. In order to preserve Ahadith, he began to compile what he himself heard from the Prophet as well as those narrated by other Sahabah (raa). Whenever he came to know of any Sahabi (ra) having some Ahadith, he would travel to him to hear them. All such Ahadith were compiled by him in several scripts. These scripts numbered so many that they could be loaded on a camel. These scripts remained with his pupil, Kuraib. Musa ibn ?Uqbah, the famous historian says

"Kuraib left with us a camel load of Ibn Abbas' books. When ?All ibn ?Abdullah ibn Abbas would need a book from them, he wrote to Kuraib, "Send for me such and such books' He would then transcribe the book and send to him one of the two copies." (Takat ibn Sa'ad)

The pupils of Ibn Abbas (ra) would copy these scripts and read them to him to confirm the correctness of the copies. (Tirmidhi)

Sometimes Ibn Abbas (ra) would narrate the Ahadith to his pupils while they would record them. (Darimi)

Therefore, this is a proof for those Muslims with a defeated mentality and for those outside the pale of Islam who attack the Islamic Aqeedah claiming that the Ahadith are not authentic or reliable.

This brief article proves without doubt that the Sunnah of the Prophet was indeed given scrupulous attention during the life of the Prophet .

In conclusion, the Protection of Allah extends over the Qur'an and the Sunnah.

                                Salam and Peace on you!

"And We have also sent down unto you the Reminder and the Advice (the Qur'an) that you may explain clearly to the people what has been sent down for them" (An-Nahl 1644)

The reminder here means the Sunnah, because it explains to people the Quran, the profit said

                                " ..."

"Verily I have been given the Quran and that which is similar to it along with it. Verily it may be that a man will be full and resting on his side and say This Quran is for you what you find in it lawful take as lawful and what you find in it unlawful take as unlawful. What the Messenger makes unlawful is like what Allah makes unlawful??

                                { }

(Imam at-Tirmidhi) said, ?This tradition is good.

"Truly I was given the Qur'an and its like together," meaning the Sunna.
The Sunna, too, came down upon him by inspiration, just like the Qur'an, except that the Sunna was not recited as was the Qur'an.

That means that the Sunna is protected like the Quran is protected.

If you ever prayed, tell me where it is mentioned in the quraan how many times we should pray in the day at night.

It is mentioned in the Quran in general to pray, but the Sunna came with details about how to pray.

So the Sunnah explains the Quran

And it was mentioned in the Quran to follow the sunnah

                                " "

"And whatsoever the Messenger gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it). "

Whoever declines the Sunnah is unbeliever and non Muslim

And peace will be upon him who follows the guidance!'&#039 (48.

First the verse wasn't speaking about the companions of the profit.

]"That was a nation (the Messengers, their companions) which has passed away. For them is that which they earned, and for you is that which you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do." (

                                  That's your addition.

                                  Here is the verse

                                  (139. Say (O Muhammad to the Jews and Christians), "Dispute you with us about Allah while He is our Lord and your Lord And we are to be rewarded for our deeds and you for your deeds. And we are sincere to Him (i.e. we worship Him alone and none else, and we obey His orders).'&#039 (140. Or say you that Ibrahim, Ismail, Ishaq, Yaqub and Al-Asbat, were Jews or Christians Say, "Do you know better or does Allah And who is more unjust than he who conceals the testimony he has from Allah And Allah is not unaware of what you do.'&#039 (141. That was a nation who has passed away. They shall receive the reward of what they earned, and you of what you earn. And you will not be asked of what they used to do.)

The verse wasn't speaking about our prophet at all.

Second we only describe Allah with what he described himself.

He didn't describe himself with a teacher, but he knows everything, and indeed he taught us everything through his profit, but we aren't his students, and he didn't describe himself as a teacher.

Even the profit, Allah describes him by saying

                                  1. He has been taught by one mighty in power.

Which means Gabril peace upon him.

Allah didn't only guided the human being, but also guided all the universe, like the bees, ants how to live and survive, but that doesn't mean that he is a teacher.

Even sometimes a teacher may learn from his students, that doesn't make him their student, and them the teacher.

The way that we deal with the names of Allah, that we only describe Allah with what he described himself with, and he never described him self by being a teacher and we are his students,

                                  1. What is the matter with you, that you do not hope for any Waqar from Allah)

Again The relationship between us and God, it is a relation between a creator and a slave, not a student and a teacher.

. And the Jews and the Christians say "We are the children of Allah and His loved ones.'' Say "Why then does He punish you for your sins'' Nay, you are but human beings of those He has created, He forgives whom He wills and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; and to Him is the return (of all).

                                    { }

The Reminder is the Quran. Allah never approved any teachings beside what He revealed, and warns specifically against it.
"And thus have We sent it down an Arabic Quran, and have distinctly set forth therein of threats that they may guard or that it may produce a reminder for them." Surah 20113
                                    " " Surah 20113

"Or have they taken gods apart from Him? Say 'Bring your proof! This is the Remembrance of him who is with me, and the Remembrance of those before me. Nay, but the most part of them know not the truth, so therefore they are turning away." Surah 2124
                                    " " Surah 2124

"and the reciters of a Remembrance, " Surah 373
                                    " " Surah 373

"This is a Remembrance; and for the godfearing is a fair resort," Surah 3849
                                    " " Surah 3849

"It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings," Surah 3887
                                    " " Surah 3887

"Those who disbelieve in the Remembrance when it comes to them -- and surely it is a Book Sublime;" Surah 4141
                                    " " Surah 4141

"Surely it is a Reminder to thee and to thy people; and assuredly you will be questioned." Surah 4344
                                    " " Surah 4344

Let us turn to the Quran, and the teachings of the People of the Book to see who is on the right path, and who is led astray.

Those who uphold hadith reject the Quran. Allah has not given authority to follow anything but what He revealed.

?Follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow guardians besides Him, how little do you mind.? Surah 73

Take a test and see if you obey Allah and the Messenger, or if you obey the way of the ancients.
This is ?pass or fail?, just as it will be on the Day of Judgment. Let us see who truly rejects the Quran.

Muhammad (pbuh) was revealed the Quran by Allah, and it was the Prophet (pbuh) who taught us the Quran. Only in the Quran, the pure, protected revelation, do we have proof of the Messenger?s words
"Say 'I do not find, in what is revealed to me, aught forbidden to him who eats thereof except it be carrion, or blood outpoured, or the flesh of swine -- that is unclean -- or an ungodly thing that has been blessed to other than Allah; yet whoso is constrained, not desiring nor transgressing, surely thy Lord is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.'" Surah 6145
That is the Prophet Muhammad speaking (pbuh). He states nothing is forbidden EXCEPT four specific foods. Carrion, blood, flesh of swine, and food blessed to another god.

Now turn to hadith, and count how many foods are forbidden within.
Then look to the additions in the Torah and find the same forbidden foods as the Jews ? Orthodox Yahduians who follow the Talmud, also known as the Oral Law.

                                    Halal/kosher food Lev. 111-46, Deut. 143-21

A follower of hadith cannot say these were revealed to Muhammad and passed on in hadith, because Allah verifies what the Jews were forbidden

"And to those of Jewry We have forbidden every beast with claws; and of oxen and sheep We have forbidden them the fat of them, save what their backs carry, or their entrails, or what is mingled with bone; that We recompensed them for their insolence; surely We speak truly." Surah 6146

Allah revealed to the Messenger that all foods not forbidden in the Quran were permitted to the People of the Book, abrogating the previous Messages The Torah and Injeel.
?Today the good things are permitted you, and the food of those who were given the Book is permitted to you, and permitted to them is your food; Likewise believing women in wedlock, and in wedlock women of them who were given the Book before you if you give them their wages, in wedlock and not in licence, or as taking lovers. Whoso disbelieves in the faith, his work has failed, and in the world to come he shall be among the losers.? Surah 55

Who, when proof is given, is shown to reject the Quran and who is shown to uphold it?

"The Truth has come and falsehood vanished. Surely falsehood is ever bound to vanish." Surah 1781, 3447-50

Only believers, Muslims with faith in their heart pass the test Those who uphold the revelation of Allah, the word of an honored Messenger The Quran.

Followers of hadith follow teachings of the Jews and Christians, rewritten into hadith.

If you ever prayed, tell me where it is mentioned in the quraan how many times we should pray in the day at night.

It is mentioned in the Quran in general to pray, but the Sunna came with details about how to pray.

Prove it. Show us, using hadith, how to pray as you pray. Show us where it gives the exact details on the positions, the times, the phrases to utter, everything.
When you cannot show this, you will then understand hadith does not teach you how to pray. )
The Question remains Where do they get the 5 prayers from?
From the Jews ? Orthodox Yahudians - and the Zoroastrians.

In the book ?To Pray As A Jew ? A Guide to the Prayer Book and the Synagogue Service? by Rabbi Hayim Halvey Donin, we find not only the five prayer times the foundation for the memorized phrases as well 19 ritualized prayers according to Rabbi Donin?s book, found on page 74 to 75.

The 5 times for prayer are found on pages 337-341, divided between Morning, Noon, and Night. as taught in the Talmud. This is not the Torah/Tankah ? also known as the Old Testament or Hebrew Bible.

Where did the Yahudians get their prayer times? According to Rabbi Donin, they were affixed by Ezra and the Great Assembly after their exile in Babylon. He even states the times were set to correspond with the time of services in the Temple. An outline of their prayer times is found on page 68.

These times were incorporated from the Zoroastrian ?Geh?; Namaz taught during their exile in Babylon. Zoroastrian Magi adopted the Kabbalist esoteric teachings into their doctrine, incorporating the 5 equinoxes of Venus and earth into Namaz/prayer; Homage to the 5 pointed star. Syncretism.
The same periods of time the Islamists pray and as the Zoraostrians prayed.

Prayer Islamist ? Judaism ? Zoroastrian
                                    Morning
Dawn Fajr ? Shaharit ? Havaan
                                    Midday
Noon Zuhar ? Musaf ? Rapithwan
Afternoon Asr ? Minha ? Uziren
                                    Evening
Evening Maghrib ? Maariv ? Aiwisuthrem
Night Isha ? Shema ? Ushaen

These periods of prayer are found in the Zoroastrian Avesta and still taught by Zoroastrian?s today. It is worth noting in the Arthur H. Bleeck translation of the Avesta, he details in the 'Excursus' appendix the similarities between Zoroastrian practice and Freemasonry.

                                    Pharisee - Farsi

These teachings were adopted by the Pharisees; Persian Yahudians who follow the Babylonian Talmud. Pharisee, derived from the word Farsi ? the language of Persia, were the Orthodox Jews who were condemned by the Messiah (pbuh) in the Gospel Accounts, for following traditions beside what Allah revealed.

Is it any wonder the Islamists uphold pagan prayer when Bukhari is from the lands of Persia? P

Polytheists cannot understand Allah did not teach Namaz ? pagan prayer. The word namaz or namaaz is used in modern Persian to mean prayer. It is derived from namazh, in turn derived from the Middle Persian namaach, a word with roots in the Avestan nemangh. The word namaz is now also used by Persian and Indo-Pakistani Muslims to mean prayer.

                                    Namaz/Namaaz (Persian) ? Namaach ? Nemangh

More information on Zoroastrian beliefs can be found at

"And whatsoever the Messenger gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it). "

Then why do you follow the teachings of the Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians when the Quran is specific on what is forbidden, and what is not? )
You pray as the Jews and Zoroastrians.
You eat the foods of a Jew.
You don't even face the qiblah given in the Quran. You face the Kaaba, which is Bayt Al-Haram. The Quran commands you to face Masjid Al-Haram; the building that surrounds the Kaaba.

You follow the teachings of the ancients, the teachings of polytheists and hypocrites.

The reminder is given, and proofs are shown.
                                    Do you submit to Allah?

                                    Peace.

God can teach about the future, if he wills. However Al-khidr wasn`t taught about the future, but he used his mind. He was "taught by the presence of God". Taught to think for himself.

"And We have also sent down unto you the Reminder and the Advice (the Qur'an) that you may explain clearly to the people what has been sent down for them" (An-Nahl 1644)

Your sectarian bias prevents you from seeing this verse as it should be read.
The explanation of the prophet IS The Quran, not hadith.
"you may explain" by "The reminder and advice".

To claim that hadith has been protected is simply absurd.

If you uphold hadith until your appointed term, the Fire will be your reward because you commit idolatry. The only unforgivable sin is idolatry.

                                        Idolatry nullifies all works Surah 3965, 448, 4116, 12106, 3113, 4066

Prove it. Show us, using hadith, how to pray as you pray. Show us where it gives the exact details on the positions, the times, the phrases to utter, everything.
When you cannot show this, you will then understand hadith does not teach you how to pray.

Polytheists cannot understand Allah did not teach Namaz ? pagan prayer. The word namaz or namaaz is used in modern Persian to mean prayer. It is derived from namazh, in turn derived from the Middle Persian namaach, a word with roots in the Avestan nemangh. The word namaz is now also used by Persian and Indo-Pakistani Muslims to mean prayer.

                                        Namaz/Namaaz (Persian) ? Namaach ? Nemangh

More information on Zoroastrian beliefs can be found at
                                        http//heritageinstitute.com/zoroastrianism/worship/index.htm

Then why do you follow the teachings of the Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians when the Quran is specific on what is forbidden, and what is not?
You pray as the Jews and Zoroastrians.
You eat the foods of a Jew.
You don't even face the qiblah given in the Quran. You face the Kaaba, which is Bayt Al-Haram. The Quran commands you to face Masjid Al-Haram; the building that surrounds the Kaaba.

You follow the teachings of the ancients, the teachings of polytheists and hypocrites.

The reminder is given, and proofs are shown.
                                        Do you submit to Allah?

                                        Peace.

                                        Authority of the Sunnah

                                        1. Definition of the Sunnah, and the History of the Sunnah, and the Efforts of the Scholars in verifying the Sunnah.

For the above issues, please see the following article The Sunnah.

One thing that must be mentioned here is that many Muslims get confused between the general term of Sunnah, which includes all the sayings and actions of the Prophet, and between the term Sunnah when used in fiqh issues where it means "recommended". For example, since the Prophet used to pray 2 rak'at before fajr prayer, we say that it is Sunnah for us to pray these 2 rak'at, which means that it is recommended to pray these 2 rak'at and not obligatory.

In this article we are discussing the Sunnah in the general sense, and not in the fiqh sense. We are talking about the Sunnah as a source of Islamic legislation. Therefore, when we say it is obligatory to follow the Sunnah, we are talking about the Prophets commands for us in the Sunnah and not about the recommended actions such as the 2 rak'at before fajr for example. Please make sure that you understand the difference here.

                                        1. What does the Authority of the Sunnah mean?

In Arabic, the wording is Hojjiyat As-Sunnah. This basically means that the Sunnah can be used as evidence in Shariah, and that Allah (swt) has ordered us to follow the Sunnah and avoid anything it has prohibited for us. In other words, this means that it is obligatory on every Muslim to believe in what the Sunnah tells us, and to act according to the Sunnah in all aspects of our life and ensure that we do not commit any actions that contradict the Sunnah.

                                        1. The Sunnah and it's place in relation to the Holy Qur'an

The Sunnah can be divided into three parts

Confirming Sunnah. This is the part of the Sunnah that confirms what is in the Qur'an, and reinforces it.
                                        2.

Explanatory Sunnah. This part of the Sunnah explains the holy Qur'an and the various Shariah injunctions that come in the holy Qur'an. It includes four parts expanding on what is mentioned only briefly in the holy Qur'an, explaining difficult verses or issues, putting limits on general statements in the Qur'an and finally specifying generalities in the Qur'an.
                                        3.

Sunnah that brings new legislation. This part of the Sunnah is the one that brings new legislation, and new Shariah that is not in the holy Qur'an.

                                        1. Evidence of the Authority of the Sunnah from the Qur'an

                                        ( 92)

                                        ( 21)

The verses mentioned above can be translated as

Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and beware (of evil) if ye do turn back, know ye that it is Our Messenger's duty to proclaim (the Message) in the clearest manner. (5 92).
                                        2.

O ye who believe! obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day that is best, and most suitable for final determination. (4 59).
                                        3.

So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in Punishment. (59 7).
                                        4.

But no, by thy Lord, they can have no (real) Faith, until they make thee judge in all disputes between them, and find in their souls no resistance against thy decisions, but accept them with the fullest conviction. (4 65).
                                        5.

But for the Grace of Allah to thee and His Mercy, a party of them would certainly have plotted to lead thee astray. But (in fact) they will only lead their own souls astray, and to thee they can do no harm in the least. For Allah hath sent down to thee the Book and Wisdom and taught thee what thou knewest not (before) and great is the Grace of Allah unto. (4 113).
                                        6.

Say "If ye do love Allah, follow me Allah will love you and forgive you your sins; for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (3 31).
                                        7.

Then We put thee on the (right) Way of Religion so follow thou that (Way), and follow not the desires of those who know not. (45 1.
                                        8.

He who obeys the Messenger, obeys Allah; but if any turn away, We have not sent thee to watch over their (evil deeds). (4 80).
                                        9.

Say "Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger but if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be on right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to preach the clear (Message). (24 54).
                                        10.

When they are summoned to Allah and His Messenger, in order that He may judge between them, behold, some of them decline (to come). (24 4.
                                        11.

Deem not the summons of the Messenger among yourselves like the summons of one of you to another Allah doth know those of you who slip away under shelter of some excuse then let those beware who withstand the Messenger's order, lest some trial befall them, or a grievous Penalty be inflicted on them. (24 63).
                                        12.

Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the praise of Allah. (33 21).

The verses mentioned here are just some of the verses relating to the authority of the Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh). Anyone who has read the holy Qur'an knows that Allah (swt) repeats his command to us to follow the Prophet, and obey him, and stay away from anything that he forbids, many times in the holy Qur'an. All these verses point to the fact that we must abide by and follow the Sunnah, and that we cannot obey Allah (swt) without following the Sunnah because Allah (swt) himself in the holy Qur'an asks us and requires us to follow the Sunnah.

                                        1. Evidence of the Authority of the Sunnah from the Hadith

Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) has warned us in many hadith of the fact that some people will come who will deny the Sunnah and claim to follow the holy Qur'an only. Subhan Allah, we see this has come true today with some of these deviant groups. Please read the hadith below

                                        " , , , "
                                        ( , , 5/3

                                        " , " ( 15/174 7280)

                                        " , , " ( 15/176 728

                                        , , " ( 1/86 2306)

These hadith can be translated as follows

There will be a man to whom my hadith will reach him, while he is sitting comfortably, and he will say between me and you is the book of Allah, whatever we find in it that is halal we will make it halal, and whatever we find in it haram we will make it haram. Then the Prophet says whatever the messenger of Allah has made haram is as if Allah has made it haram.
                                        2.

All of my Ummah will enter heaven except those who refuse (or reject), so they asked him oh messenger of Allah, who is the one who refuses? The Prophet said whoever obeys me will enter heaven and whoever obeys me he has refused.
                                        3.

Do not ask me about what I didn't' mention, because what has caused the destruction of the previous nations was their questioning and disagreement with their Prophets. If I forbid you from doing something, avoid it, and if I order you to do something do as much of it as you possibly can.
                                        4.

May Allah make bright (beautiful, happy) the face of the one who listens to my saying, and he memorizes it, understands it and delivers it to others. How many people may carry knowledge while they are not knowledgeable, and how many people carry knowledge to those who are more knowledgeable than them.

Again the evidence from the Sunnah points to the same fact, which is that it is obligatory for Muslims to follow the Sunnah. We must abide by it, follow its orders and avoid whatever it forbids us from. We cannot claim to be obeying Allah if we do not follow the Sunnah.

                                        1. Evidence of the Authority of the Sunnah from the Consensus of the Scholars

Since the belief in the authority of the Sunnah is one of the basics of Islam, and one of the foundations of this religion, Muslims have agreed on this fact in the early generations and the later generations as well. This consensus has been reported by many scholars including Al-Shafi'ee, Ibn Abd Al-Barr, Ibn Hazm, Ibn Taymiyah and Ibn Al-Qayyim.

No Muslim scholar has raised any doubt about the authority of the Sunnah as a source of Shariah. The only doubts were raised by deviant groups who obviously had very little knowledge of Islam, because the overwhelming evidence of the Qur'an and the Sunnah clearly settles this issue. These deviant groups simply wanted to create a new Shariah based on their own opinions and desires. Therefore, they wanted to destroy the Sunnah which is a major source of the Shariah in order to replace it with whatever they want. We will discuss these deviant groups in more detail later on.

                                        1. The Sunnah is Part of the wahy (Revelation from Allah)

The Sunnah can be divided in this regard into the following parts

A part that was directly revealed to the Prophet by meaning only (the part revealed by exact wording is the holy Qur'an).
                                        *

A part that the Prophet said or did out of his own with no revelation, and this part is divided into 2 sub-parts

                                        o

Either the revelation asserts the action or saying of the Prophet, and in this case it becomes the same as the part that was directly revealed to the Prophet.
                                        o

Or the revelation comes with an alternative idea to what the Prophet said or did, and in this case we take the revelation and work by it.

Therefore, as we can see that with regard to anything related to the religion of Islam, the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) is immune from making a mistake (ma'soom). This means that the entire Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) is according to the will of Allah (swt), since it is either directly revealed by Allah (swt), or it is asserted by Allah (swt), or else it has been corrected by the revelation from Allah (swt).

This is obvious to any Muslim, after all, Allah (swt) has promised to protect this message, the message of Islam. And it is not possible for Allah (swt) to allow the messenger who is delivering His message to make any mistake in delivering it, otherwise it would not be protected.

The following is some evidence from the holy Qur'an that the Sunnah is part of the revelation and that the Prophet does not make mistakes in delivering the message of Allah (swt)

                                        ( 2-4)

                                        ( 80)

These verses can be translated as follows

Your Companion is neither astray nor being misled, Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire. It is no less than inspiration sent down to him. (53 2-4)
                                        2.

He who obeys the Messenger, obeys Allah; but if any turn away, We have not sent thee to watch over their (evil deeds). (4 80)

In fact, all of the verses we mentioned above to prove the authority of the Sunnah are evidence that the Sunnah is indeed from Allah (swt). After all, since Allah (swt) requires us to follow the Sunnah, then it must be from the revelation of Allah (swt). And in all cases, we are required to follow it and therefore it is equivalent in its importance to the revelation.

                                        1. Impossible to rely solely on the holy Qur'an

In addition to all what was mentioned above, any rational Muslim who has the slightest knowledge about the Qur'an and the Sunnah knows that most of the details of the religion of Islam were revealed to us through the Sunnah and not through the holy Qur'an. For example, the holy Qur'an mentions in many places that Muslims should pray, and perform rukoo' and sujood. However, without the Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), we would be unable to perform the prayers since all the details of how to pray are from the Sunnah and not the Qur'an.

This obviously proves that part of the revelation came to the Prophet by meaning only, and it includes such things as how to pray. The Prophet ordered us to pray as we have seen him pray, and the Prophet must have learned this through revelation from Allah (swt). In addition to prayers, also the details of the zakat were revealed in the Sunnah and not the Qur'an.

Therefore, if anyone from those deviant groups tells you they only follow the Qur'an and not the Sunnah, you should ask them immediately if they pray. If they say yes they do pray, then tell this ignorant person that they are following the Sunnah in praying as the Qur'an does not describe any of the details of the prayers. In fact, almost all matters of fiqh rely very heavily on the Sunnah especially for the details. The holy Qur'an only mentions general statements, and they are explained in the Sunnah in detail.

Finally, there are many verses of the holy Qur'an that were explained to us by the hadith from the Prophet. Without the hadith, we would lose large parts of the Qur'an because we have no way of understanding it. After all, didn't Allah (swt) reveal the following verse

                                        , , ,
                                        ( 16 -19)

These verses can be translated as follows

"Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith. It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated) Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear)." (75 16-19).

In these verses, Allah (swt) is instructing Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) not to hurry by repeating the Qur'an as it is being revealed to him. Allah tells the Prophet that it is up to Him to collect it into the Prophet's heart and make him read it as it was revealed to him. Allah further instructs the Prophet that if it is being revealed to you, then just listen to it. Finally Allah says and then it is up to us to make its meaning clear to you.

The mofassireen (scholars who explain the verses of the Qur'an) have said that Allah is telling the Prophet that the meanings of the verses being revealed to him will be explained to the Prophet and their meanings will be made clear to him in his heart.

This verse makes it clear that Allah (swt) did not simply reveal the words of the verses of the holy Qur'an to the Prophet. Allah (swt) also revealed the meanings of these verses into the heart of the Prophet. Therefore, the hadith of the Prophet in explaining the verses of the Qur'an is part of the revelation of the Qur'an. However rejects the Sunnah is rejecting part of the revelation.

                                        1. The Ruling on those who Deny the Authority of the Sunnah

The scholars of Islam have agreed that the one who denies the authority of the Sunnah and rejects it and its rulings has committed kufr disbelief, and that he is no longer within the realm of Islam, and that his prayers, fasting and zakat are of no benefit to him.

The scholars of Islam have very detailed rulings in this regard, but we will not mention them here in order not to make this too long. However, it is very easy to find in any basic book about the Sunnah and the Authority of the Sunnah. Among the scholars who have made this ruling are Ibn Hazm, Ayoub Al-Sikhtiany, Imam Al-Shatibi, Imam Al-Soyooti, Imam Al-Shawkani and others.

Some of the verses of the Qur'an that provide evidence about this ruling

                                        ( 65)

                                        ( 61)

                                        ( 23)

                                        ( 36)

                                        ( 7)

These verses can be translated as follows

But no, by thy Lord, they can have no (real) Faith, until they make thee judge in all disputes between them, and find in their souls no resistance against thy decisions, but accept them with the fullest conviction. (4 65).
                                        2.

When it is said to them "Come to what Allah hath revealed, and to the Messenger" thou seest the Hypocrites avert their faces from thee in disgust. (4 61).
                                        3.

Say "Obey Allah and His Messenger" but if they turn back, Allah loveth not those who reject Faith. (3 32).
                                        4.

It is not fitting for a Believer, man or woman, when a matter has been decided by Allah and His Messenger, to have any option about their decision if anyone disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he is indeed on a clearly wrong Path. (33 35).
                                        5.

So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in Punishment. (59 7).

Therefore it is clear to any Muslims, after reading these verses of the holy Qur'an, that obedience of the Prophet is indeed obedience of Allah (swt). It is also clear that Allah (swt) has said that people will not believe until they judge in all disputes according to the judgment of the Prophet, and they should not have any doubts about the Prophet's decision and judgment.

May Allah (swt) save us from being misguided, and may Allah (swt) guide those people who fell into this misguidance back into the fold of Islam. If they do not repent, not even their prayers, fasting or zakat will help them since they are rejecting the clear commands of Allah (swt).

                                        1. Conclusion

In this article we have discussed the meaning of the authority of the Sunnah. We said that this authority means that the Sunnah can be taken as evidence in all matter of religion in Islam. We also said that this authority means that it is obligatory for us to follow all commands in the Sunnah, and it is obligatory for us to avoid everything forbidden by the Sunnah.

We also discussed the fact that many fiqh scholars use the term Sunnah to describe recommended actions. As we know all actions have one of five rulings obligatory, recommended, allowed, disliked and forbidden. Some fiqh scholars use the term Sunnah for recommended actions because these are actions the prophet used to do but did not command the Muslims to do. These include praying 2 rak'at before fajr, and 2 after maghrib and so on. However, the Sunnah in general is the sayings and actions of the Prophet, and it is a source of shariah legislation. This is the Sunnah that we mean in our discussion.

We then discussed the evidence of the authority of the Sunnah from the holy Qur'an, the Sunnah and the consensus of the scholars. We then mentioned that the Sunnah is part of the revelation from Allah (swt), and we proved this by saying that for example we pray according to the Sunnah, and obviously our method of prayer was a revelation. We then continued to prove that the Sunnah is part of the revelation by proving that it is impossible to be a Muslim and rely solely on the holy Qur'an.

Finally, we also mentioned the ruling on those who reject the authority of the Sunnah, and we said that the scholars of Islam have agreed that their ruling is that they have committed an act of disbelief and that they are no longer in the realm of Islam. Their prayers, fasting and zakat cannot help them as they have rejected a main source of these forms of worship, the Sunnah.

May Allah (swt) guide us all to the right path.

I just want to say that all what you said isn't new, and we don't have anything in our religion to hide, unlike others who read their book in a language people can't understand, and hide some parts and show others, and have things above mind and you can't even think about it.

Our religion is clear, every one can understand, and all what you said like i told you isn't new, our scholars replied to all of this before you were even born, and Islam enemies took that from them to drive people away from the truth.

                                        That's one thing.

Regarding the prayer, if you have tasted of Islam before you wouldn't said this, young muslim children can answer you, you don't know anything about islam, praying is mentioned every were in Islam. and the prophet said pray as you saw me praying, and we have Hadiths on how the profit prays from the beginning till the end as if we are saying it, just refere to the book of albani of the prayer as an example.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar used to raise his hands to the level of his shoulders when he began the prayer and when he raised his head from the ruku he would raise them less than that.

                                        Narrated Wa?il ibn Hujr

I purposely looked at the prayer of the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him), how he offered it. The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) stood up, faced the direction of the qiblah and uttered the takbir (Allah is most great) and then raised his hands in front of his ears, then placed his right hand on his left (catching each other).

When he was about to bow, he raised them in the same manner. He then placed his hands on his knees. When he raised his head after bowing, he raised them in the like manner. When he prostrated himself he placed his forehead between his hands.

He then sat down and spread his left foot and placed his left hand on his left thigh, and kept his right elbow aloof from his right thigh. He closed his two fingers and made a circle (with the fingers).

I (Asim ibn Kulayb) saw him (Bishr ibn al-Mufaddal) say in this manner. Bishr made the circle with the thumb and the middle finger and pointed with the forefinger.

When the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) stood for offering the obligatory prayer, he uttered the takbir (Allah is most great) and raised his hands opposite to his shoulders; and he did like that when he finished recitation (of the Qur?an) and was about to bow; and he did like that when he rose after bowing; and he did not raise his hands in his prayer while he was in his sitting position.

When he stood up from his prostrations (at the end of two rak?ahs), he raised his hands likewise and uttered the takbir (Allah is most great) and raised his hands so as to bring them up to his shoulders, as he uttered the takbir in the beginning of the prayer.

And when he was about to bow down, he brought out his hands from the cloth, and then lifted them, and then recited takbir and bowed down and when (he came back to the erect position) he recited? ?Truly I am only a mortal I make mistakes (sometimes) and I am correct (sometimes). Therefore, look into my opinions all that agrees with the Book and the Sunnah accept it; and all that does not agree with the Book and the Sunnah, ignore it.?

?If you find in my writings something different to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ?alaihi wa sallam), then speak on the basis of the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ?alaihi wa sallam), and leave what I have said.?

Hadeeth No. 44 - Narrated Talha bin 'Ubaidullah

                                        From sahihalbukhari

A man from Najd with unkempt hair came to Allah's Apostle and we heard his loud voice but could not understand what he was saying, till he came near and then we came to know that he was asking about Islam. Allah's Apostle said, "You have to offer prayers perfectly five times in a day and night (24 hours)." The man asked, "Is there any more (praying)?" Allah's Apostle replied, "No, but if you want to offer the Nawafil prayers (you can)." Allah's Apostle further said to him "You have to observe fasts during the month of Ramad, an." The man asked, "Is there any more fasting?" Allah's Apostle replied, "No, but if you want to observe the Nawafil fasts (you can.)" Then Allah's Apostle further said to him, "You have to pay the Zakat (obligatory charity)." The man asked, "Is there any thing other than the Zakat for me to pay?" Allah's Apostle replied, "No, unless you want to give alms of your own." And then that man retreated saying, "By Allah! I will neither do less nor more than this." Allah's Apostle said, "If what he said is true, then he will be successful (i.e. he will be granted Paradise)."

The Reminder is the Quran. Allah never approved any teachings beside what He revealed, and warns specifically against it.
"And thus have We sent it down an Arabic Quran, and have distinctly set forth therein of threats that they may guard or that it may produce a reminder for them." Surah 20113

"Or have they taken gods apart from Him? Say 'Bring your proof! This is the Remembrance of him who is with me, and the Remembrance of those before me. Nay, but the most part of them know not the truth, so therefore they are turning away." Surah 2124
                                          " " Surah 2124

"and the reciters of a Remembrance, " Surah 373
                                          " " Surah 373

"This is a Remembrance; and for the godfearing is a fair resort," Surah 3849
                                          " " Surah 3849

"It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings," Surah 3887
                                          " " Surah 3887

"Those who disbelieve in the Remembrance when it comes to them -- and surely it is a Book Sublime;" Surah 4141

                                          Peace.

And regarding the forbidden things, here is the tafsir

Unfortuntelly i don't have time to translate right now, but the point is just go ahead and revel your masks, this website doesn't seem to be a website for muslims or for Islam, i believe it is for uncovered christians and jewish.

Just be clear so we can speak with you in the right way, because who declines the Sunnah he is fighting the islam, cuz he can't declare his hatered to islam by denying the Quran, because no one will follow him, but he will deny the sunnah first and then trying to drive people from the straight way by saying things just like you are saying.

But anyways, regarding this verse, i will ask you one question, this verse from Surat Al'anam is at the meeca time, but this verse

                                          (3

dedicated to other than Allah , and killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you slaughter , and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

What are you going to do about this verse, it mentioned unforbidden things not mentioned at the verse you mentioned

Say, "I do not find within that which was revealed to me forbidden to one who would eat it unless it be a dead animal or blood spilled out or the flesh of swine - for indeed, it is impure - or it be disobedience, dedicated to other than Allah . But whoever is forced , neither desiring nor transgressing , then indeed, your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."

                                          Can you deny this???

Trust me if you are willing to know the truth, Allah will guide to it, but if you are looking to fight the islam, make sure that this religion has A God who protects it.

Will first, The verse you mentioned at Al'anam it is at mecca time, and the verse says " i don't find within that which was revealed to me" So some of the Scholars said that at this time it wasn't forbidden, and after that some other things were forbidden, and the verse i mentioned to you like what the wild animal eaten which belongs to Surat Al ma'idah which was at the Madina time, so maybe it was forbidden after so there is no contradiction.

And one more thing, what's your problem with Imam al Bukhari?

He was very accurate in collecting the Hadith that before he added any hadith he cleaned him self with water, and prayed to Allah.

And if he saw a man lie even to animals he don't take his hadith.

Don't be like christians and jewish, they don't believe in jesus or Mousi, since it was written in their books about the profit Mohamed peace upon him, and they knew that, jewish knew the profit more than they knew thier sons, but they denied the truth while they know it.

If you deny one letter from the religion you are denying the whole religion.
