going to school

on YouTube a brother told me that i am getting sins for going to school...we all know that our prophet endorses learning and seeking knowledge....I doubt that only applies for men....
So do I get a sin for going to school/uni everyday because I'm a female?No. Go to school and educate yourself.
In the eyes of Allah, men and women are equal. No where in the Quran are we to treat women as inferior. Men are to strive with what Allah provides to make women equal with them.
?And their Lord answers them 'I waste not the labour of any that labours among you, be you male or female -- the one of you is as the other. And those who emigrated, and were expelled from their habitations, those who suffered hurt in My way, and fought, and were slain -- them I shall surely acquit of their evil deeds, and I shall admit them to gardens underneath which rivers flow.' A reward from Allah! And Allah with Him is the fairest reward.? Surah 3195
?And God has preferred some of you over others in provision;, but those that were preferred shall not give over their provision to that their right hands possess, so that they may be equal therein. What, and do they deny God's blessing?? Surah 1671
A woman is not under the man, a woman is an equal to a man. Allah has established roles, but that does not mean women are not equal. The teachings of subjugation and oppression come from the polytheists.
Men dominate women I Cor. 113, I Peter 31-7, Eph. 522-24
Daughters are property Exo. 217
Women have no rights I Tim. 211-15, I Cor. 1434-36All are equal Surah 3195, 4124, 1697, 3336-37, 4040, 4913

Instead of looking for Wisdom from youtube brothers or scholars here and there on Allah's point of view, let us respect Allah by reading the Qur'an. Allah teaches us what we dont know by the pen, the mightiest of all swords , the pen. Be male or female, guard your modesty and get educated so that you become stronger than ever before and no one can stop you from understanding Allah's message.

I think it would be wise to keep in mind the growth of Islam in the world when it sought knowledge. Not saying that God had them flourish because of it (conquering is not endorsed in Quran) but they did bring in a golden age to the world. Miriam al-Astrulabi, a female, is responsible for creating the astrolabe, which helped pioneer things such as the GPS or Fatima al-Fihri who founded the worlds oldest university in Morocco. So, women are just as capable as men and are equal in the sight of God.

The main thing that this man was concerned about was that males were in my classes nd I have male teachers...
Even though I try to minimize my conversations with them to the max there will always HAVE to be some conversation....for example...for those who go to uni or have been there know that the professors put u in groups to do a particular assignment...in these groups there are also males..nd I have no choice but to participate in this work...
while I was talking to this brother he told me that I should do online schooling nd I was considering it because I felt so guilty nd there was a time where I thought of dropping out ... But Alhamdulillah I didn't he really confused me... Nd he used the Hadith against me "A woman should not emerge from her home except if she is forced to do so"/ or if she absolutely needs to.... does this Hadith actually exist?
I am grateful to be a Muslimah nd I loveeeeee my religion nd I firmly believe that men nd women are equal and I KNOW that the Quran and Hadiths endorse this...so please tell me what this man was saying..was he just a fake trying to confuse me? Jazakallah -

it's not haram to get an education or talk to a male. there are righteous ways to communicate
some people are just extreme in their point of view. don't just take what people to say as total and absolute truth.
education is a need so tell him hadith supports your position and not to talk to you because he isn't your mahram lol

Do not stop your education. Be a modest person. If a hadith is Sahee, it will not contradict with Qur'an. And Qur'an supports and encourages your education so prophet will not be stupid and speak against Allah. Anyone, any book that is telling that the prophet is not obeying Qur'an is a lie. Keep that in mind. Read the Qur'an and carry on with your education. I pray that Allah guides you.

ignore people and listen to God. point out to these ignorant people that during the times of the prophet - men and women fought alongside. the koran is clear on interaction between men and women.
growing up in the states, i went to school sitting next to guys, during my medical training stood next to (bodies touching) during long surgeries, been alone with male colleagues in the building - not a big deal.
so your teacher is a guy, what's the problem? and your classmates are guys - so what?
