@Kaiokenred I'm not at all sure that this happened. It is not in the Quran--and it doesn't "mesh" with the guidance contained therein either. It could well be that pedophiles injected the hadith in order to "justify" their lusts. If you have true Guidance, who cares what the extra-Quranic hadiths say?

@salaheddine Is the Quran complete? The Quran says that it is (AQ 6114-115). If the Quran is complete, then what use are hadiths? To accept a single extra-Quranic hadith as binding is to be a denier of the Quran. To deny that the Quran is complete would also make a person a denier of the Quran. Why are you a denier? Even now it is not too late to come to the deen of ALLAH, ISA.

I fear allah more than you. I love prophet muhammad (saws) more than you. I'm not a barbar or cruel or wathever, you accuse me without knowing me, Who is the cruel here ? I just follow Allah and his messenger and I say "rabbana samiina wa attana" God we listen and we obey. I also have all my mind, i'm not a retarded like you say to me, I'm a person of science who has studied physics, mathematics and now I pursue my study in a famous university in my country in computer engineering. I'm afraid of the punition of Allah in the day of resurection. All the pain in this world won't equal the pain reserved by allah to the in the day of resurection. So my message to you is to stop disturbing people minds and go back to the original religion of Islam and follow quran and Sunna of our prophet like the sahaba. if you say that hadiths are false, you say that the Sahaba were wrong in following the prophet. So you think that the sahaba will go to hellfire ? The sahabi Khalid bnou lwalid doesn't fear nothing but Allah "Khalid is said to have fought valiantly at the Battle of Mu'tah and to have broken nine swords during the battle" Whithout Allah and without people like him, Islam will not be there. I think that when the verse was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad he should do explain to his companions if he didn't explain to them, then the verse must be interpreted in many segments, or it might be chaotic among the companions about the verses. On the other hand, his companions must asked the Prophet when their had got the questions about the clue of the verses. However, the practiced of the Prophet according to God revealed must be the best pattern of conduct and clear among the companions. I do believe that all the practice of the prophet must be told and remembered by his companions and would be tradition for centuries after the Prophet passed away. In my opinion Imam Bukhari did a great job in collecting the prophetic traditions. I don?t believe all words of Bukhari, but I read the Qur-an and compared with Bukhari. I realized that when you read the book of Buhkari liken to read the historic book. We have been reading many books since we could read as; Scientific book, business book and etc. But some theories we can get and some we can deny.

Though your heart may be in the right place, your mind isn't. Sunnah is from the Quran. What Prophet Muhammad said and did is in the Quran. That is the perfect Sunnah! The hadith are not divinely protected, and therefore have many faults. The Quran is infallible.
We cannot just blindly follow what we think is religion. Allah wants us to use our eyes and ears too, and be smart about things.

Religious faith is not to be blind. Faith must depend upon valid reason. Why don't you believe in the Bible? It has the exact same composition and went through a very similar process as the hadith did. Yet I assume you would be quick to say it is corrupted by man. Think carefully. Did Prophet Muhammad follow hadith? No, because they were compiled hundreds of years after his death. Did Prophet Muhammad's salaat consist of praising himself? No. It does not make sense.
At the end of the day, Lakum Dinukum Waliyadin, indeed. But what I fear for you brother, is that here you are seeing quotes from Quran saying to reject hadith, yet you still persist and even try to dissuade others from this truth. The ones who receive the truth and reject it, and then work against the path of Allah are in the worst position. Of course you may not believe this is the correct path, but you do not seem so sure.
Here we are giving Quranic verses to back up our points, you have not yet brought up even one valid point using the Quran that indicates we should follow hadith. Allah wants us to have evidence of our claims. If you have no evidence and yet dissuade others from this path, you are going to become one of the hypocrites Allah talks about.

Umar ibn al-Khattab once tried to deal with the problem of committing the Hadith to writing. The companions of the Prophet whom he consulted, encouraged him, but he was not quite sure whether he should proceed. One day, moved by God's inspiration, he made up his mind and announced "I wanted to have the traditions of the Prophet written down, but I fear that the Book of God might be encroached upon. Hence I shall not permit this to happen." He, therefore, changed his mind and instructed the Muslims throughout the provinces "Whoever has a document bearing a prophetic tradition, shall destroy it." The Hadith, therefore, continued to be transmitted orally and was not collected and written down until the period of al-Mamun.

Abu-Dhahabi reports The Caliph Abu-Bakr compiled a work, in which there were 500 traditions of the Prophet, and handed it over to his daughter 'Aishah. The next morning, he took it back from her and destroyed it, saying "I wrote what I understood; it is possible however that there should be certain things in it which did not correspond textually with what the Prophet had uttered."
As to Umar, we learn on the authority of Ma'mar ibn Rashid, that during his caliphate, Umar once consulted the companions of the Prophet on the subject of codifying the Hadith. Everybody seconded the idea. Yet Umar continued to hesitate and pray to God for a whole month for guidance and enlightenment. Ultimately, he decided not to undertake the task, and said "Former peoples neglected the Divine Books and concentrated only on the conduct of the prophets; I do not want to set up the possibility of confusion between the Divine Qur?an and the Prophet's Hadith."

We couldn't force someone to follow our way, but they will find the way when God's inspired them. however, it is normal for person who has got the question inside even he got the answer as Fasting for a few days or fasting for a fixed number of days. Which is correct? One says you can fast only 10 days. Who said and who guaranteed?
