We received the following email from a Muslim reader, who has been mentally tormented over his dilemma about sex with toys and watching pornography. His name has been initialized to maintain privacy. I have expressed my view on the whole range of sexual dilemma, including masturbation Muslim youths face.

There is nothing in Islam that says that you cannot watch porn or do sex with toys. In Islam, you cannot have sex with other Muslim married women; for this, you should be stoned to death. If you have sex with unmarried Muslim girl, you will be subjected to 80 lashes. If you do get involved with another man in homosexual acts, you will be forgiven, if you repent.However, you can do sex with Kafir women any way you want. You can attack the Kafirs, kill their men and then capture the women and have sex with them. You can also kidnap them and keep them as slaves as many as you want, who will do all the household work and also provide sex to you. Allah has sent down a divine sanction to Muslims for acquiring slave women for sex by waging wars against the infidels and from spoils or booty obtained from it
O Prophet! surely We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as prisoners of war..
These being the injunctions of Islam, I do not see much reason as to why you should be worried about watching porn or have sex with toys. However, you should be able to watch porn without any restriction. So is the case with sex with toys. Only thing you should be worried while watching porn as to whether the woman you are watching in the sex-act is a Muslim or not. This is because, Islam Muslim men and women to lower their gaze when the come across unrelated Muslims of opposite sex. I do not think there are many Muslim women doing porn movies or anything like that. But I also believe that if a Muslim woman becomes porn-star, she does not remain Muslim any more. So, you should have nothing to worry about watching porn. About sex-toys, there is absolutely nothing to worry. Just fantasize it as a infidel woman, with whom you are allowed to do sex any way you want.
As I myself have grown up a Muslim, another dilemma Muslim youths face is about masturbation. There nothing specifically said about masturbation in the Quran. However, there is one hadith in which the prophet had prohibited some of his Sahabas from doing coitus interruptus with the captured women while on a Jihad expedition. Coitus interruptus means throwing the semen outside after sex in order not to make the woman pregnant. The reason was that the semen should not be wasted which could produce children. Production of Muslim children was very critical to add the number to the small Muslim community at that critical stage of Islam. However, in doing masturbation there is not possibility of making anybody pregnant. Young men keep loosing semen all the time through wet dreams. Muslim population is too big and Muslims have been producing more kids than they can handle.
So, I do not see any reason that you should not be able to do masturbation. Furthermore, many moderate Muslims have been urging to delete hadiths from Islam altogether. So, you should not be worried about that dubious hadith on Coitus Interruptus. Using condoms to limit pregnancy, which is the ideal example of Coitus Interruptus, has become quite common in the Muslims world.
Some Muslim scholars, however, argued that masturbation is prohibited in Islam on the basis of the following verse
And those who guard their private parts from their wives and those (slave-girls) which their right-hands own - so there is no blame upon them. Then whoever seeks beyond that (which is lawful), they are the transgressors.
This verse (no Quranic verse for that matter) obviously does not address the issue of masturbation but that of legal female partners in sexual relations.
But to my judgment, masturbation which is widespread among Muslims and non-Muslims alike is a much lesser evil that Allah's commands of waging wars for capturing the infidel women or kidnapping them for keeping them as sex-slaves and raping them.
Last but not the least, Muslims are one of the peoples most active in masturbation and watching porn in the world. Homosexual engagements amongst them are also equally high.

I came across this article and wanna ask your position on his idea.
Ummm... I cannot help but thinking there is a pun in that question 3.
But yeah, I strongly oppose his idea, in regards to sexual oppression towards the so-called 'kaffir' women. There is not much to be said, as I believe Qur'an is against oppression in any way.
That being said, there is a masturbation thread in the past, I suggest you browsed through that and see what arguments the others have put forward.

Ask any sunni or wahabi scholer or read their hadith and you will find out that adultery is actually allowed for muslim males in sunnism. Not only may a Muslim man have sex with a married woman, but he may also sell her as a slave to another man. And a muslim man can even also rape infidel women in front of their husbands. Some of the Companions of the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) were reluctant to have intercourse with the female captives in the presence of their husbands who were unbelievers. So Allah, the Exalted, sent down the Qur?anic verse (Sura 424) "And all married women (are forbidden) unto you except those captives whom your right hands possess." That is to say, captive women are lawful for them when they complete their menstrual period. (1479)
Sahih Bukhari 346718
Narrated Ibn Muhairiz I saw Abu Said and asked him about coitus interruptus. Abu Said said, "We went with Allah's Apostle, in the Ghazwa of Barli Al-Mustaliq and we captured some of the 'Arabs as captives, and the long separation from our wives was pressing us hard and we wanted to practice coitus interruptus. We asked Allah's Apostle (whether it was permissible). He said, "It is better for you not to do so. No soul, (that which Allah has) destined to exist, up to the Day of Resurrection, but will definitely come, into existence."

Yahya related to me from Malik from Damra ibn Said al-Mazini from al-Hajjaj ibn Amr ibn Ghaziya that he was sitting with Zayd ibn Thabit when Ibn Fahd came to him. He was from the Yemen . He said, "Abu Said! I have slave-girls. None of the wives in my keep are more pleasing to me than them, and not all of them please me so much that I want a child by them, shall I then practise coitus interruptus?" Zayd ibn Thabit said, "Give an opinion, Hajjaj!" "I said, 'May Allah forgive you! We sit with you in order to learn from you!' He said, 'Give an opinion! 'I said, She is your field, if you wish, water it, and if you wish, leave it thirsty. I heard that from Zayd.' Zayd said, 'He has spoken the truth.'"

A bondmaid taken by her master for sexual intercourse is called 'Suriyyah' (bondmaid taken as a makeshift for wife in terms of coitus).
So as you can see, according to sunnis a woman is nothing more then a sex object or a sexual organ. Women are sex slaves, can be bought and sold for the pleasure of the men. So kidnap women and fuck them. Commit adultery as long as you want, just keep sure that you kidnap the women first and that the women are ''infidel'' and guess what some quranist also agree with that.

But remember that its not only the sunnis who disrespect women - I also met a very ''quran only'' extremist who calls himself Quran vs Hadith from Pakistan who always insult and attack ''hadithers''. He is a 46 years old anti-hadither but he himself had four poor girl 16 years old servants in his home in Pakistan whom he raped. And he could not see any wrong with it since a man in the quran is allowed to have sex with women who he owns, as he said. Afterwards he insulted the four girls by calling them ''fucking hadither girls who goes against the quran by denying me whats between their legs'' and even his American wife defended him by calling them ''hadither girls'' all the time, claiming that bukhari who made the girls deny her husband his devine right. I swear if the reverse happened and women could have more than one man, they would have kittens! No way would they be able to handle it. I dont understand, are u going against Prophet Muhammed??? Because we must accept all prophets and messengers of Allah, but we dnt have to accept wat is attributed to them.

How is not trusting Prophet Muhammad, going against him? I follow Qur'an, I don't worry about the messenger. Do I still have issues with his prophethood.. sometimes yes. I can be honest about this. But the reason for this prophethood was from hadith. When you read some of those hadith you can not image such a man would be considered a Prophet of God.
I accept, just not what was attributed.
