    Assalaamu Aleykum!

First off, let me state that I am by no means convinced that the Qur'an needs hadiths or that the hadiths and sunnahs are authentic. However, I would like you, those who are interested, to see this guys video about how Qur'an only is false and do your best to debunk some of his claims right here in the forum.

I mean no disrespect to this brother.

Peace and may God guide us into His truth.

I saw a video by this guy a while back, I dont think it was this one, but on the same subject. I found his logic and reasoning to be fallacious.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

Would you please care to explain? I like to hear people's points on things. Thank you.

        Peace.

I personally would?ve been following the Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, if he were still among us, LIVING. In other words, all the obeying and following that GOD, SWT, commands us to do in The Qur?aan is for the time of the LIVING messenger. This is true about all the messengers of GOD, pbu all of them, and not just for the Prophet Muhammad. In the absence of GOD?S messengers, all we are obligated to do is to follow the one and only EVERLIVING messenger, i.e. The Qur?aan ALONE, and nothing else.

One may ask the sectarian Sunnis, why is it that they only follow the ?HADITH & SUNNAH? of Muhammad, pbuh, and forget all about other messengers that came before him. Weren?t all the other messengers of GOD, SWT, Muslims too? Just ask them about this blasphemous discrimination. Ask them why they believe that Prophet Muhammad was above & beyond the other messengers of GOD, SWT, in degree & dignity!

          Peace,
          Khalil

I prefer to be efficient with my time, so I will have to decline explanation.

By fallacious, I mean he uses logical fallacies. Anyone can read up on logical fallacies then apply them to what he says, see what comes of it etc.

              Salam,

I had a listen to the video, here are the key points the guy makes

              1. Al-Zikr. He claims that the "Zikr" was sent down to the prophet so that he may "explain" to the people.

As usual, an "out of context" verse is being provided as evidence to refute God's many claims that the Quran is complete.

1643 And We did not send any except men before you whom We inspired, so ask the people who have received the Reminder (Zikr) if
              you do not know.
1644 With proofs and the scriptures. And We sent down to you the Reminder (Zikr) to reveal to the people what was sent to them, and perhaps they will think.

Zikr (Reminder) is a feature of all of God's Books...And if there was ever any doubt, here is the ultimate verse

4141 Those who have rejected the Reminder (Zikr) when it came to them; and it is an Honorable Book.

              1. He claims that the Muslims who accept only the authority of the Quran are not verifying the Hadiths authenticity and are rejecting all Hadiths in bulk.

I say to this "if the prophet was alive and with us, and he gave a command to follow that was not in-line with the Quran - then he would be rejected in such command" - authenticity is never an issue, it is "authority" that is the issue. The true prophet (not the fictional meglomaniac the Sunnis have created) was a living Quran, he ruled by the Quran, judged by the Quran and spoke with the Quran. The few times he even "thought" of compromising the teachings of the Quran, he was admonished very harshly in the Quran and threated with the fires of Hell!

Even as a "prophet/leader" Mohammed's authority was limited to his commands being "rightoues" and would not be followed otherwise

6012 O prophet, if the believing females come to make allegiance to you that they will not set up anything besides God, nor steal,
nor commit adultery, nor kill their children, nor fabricate any falsehood, nor disobey you in any matter which is righteous, then
you shall accept their allegiance, and ask God to forgive them. God is Forgiver, Merciful.

              1. What the messenger gave you, you shall take, and what he forbade you from you shall refrain...

This is the climax of this guys arguments, where suddenly they flash in text on Youtube "This is the Sunnah!".

This is a normal example of the Sunnis "out of context" routine to prove their idols are right...Here is the complete verse below

597 Whatever God bestowed upon His messenger from the people of the towns, then it shall be to God and His messenger, and the
relatives, and the orphans, and the poor, and the wayfarer. Thus, it will not remain monopolized by the rich among you. And you
may take what the messenger gives you, but do not take what he prohibits you from taking. And be aware of God, for God is
              mighty in retribution.

See how the topic "spoils of war" magically transforms into "anything and everything" by deciet. They want to be cursed by God for their lies as their Jewish counterparts were cursed

446 From among those who are Jewish are some who take the words out of context, and they say ?We hear and disobey, and listen but let not any listen, and shepherd us,? in a twisting of their tongues and as a mockery of the system! And had they said ?We hear and
obey, and listen, and watch over us,? it would have been better for them and more upright; but God has cursed them for their disbelief, they do not believe except very little.

              1. The name "Quraniyoon".

This is a derogotary name that he keeps using in the video. I have no idea who these "Quraniyoon" are, we can only take the name that God gave us "Muslims". He can remain Sunni all he wants.

              1. He says that "Follow me" is following Mohammed (the man).

This fellow does not seems to have worked out that the Quran came from the mouth of Mohammed, not from God directly. So obeying/following the messenger = obeying/following God.

              Hope this helps.

                Salam,

In respond to 1643-44 that is normally used by proponent of Hadiths

1643 We sent not any before thee, except men to whom We revealed 'Question the people of the Remembrance, if it should be that you do not know --
1644 with the clear signs, and the Psalms; and We have sent down to thee the Remembrance that thou mayest make clear to mankind what was sent down to them; and so haply they will reflect.

--> Hadith Proponents usually use 'litubayina'(to make it clear) in 1644 to justify hadith.

                My Respond

                • Yes, one of the messenger's task was to make it clear to mankind

                • However how does the messenger makes clear the Remembrance?

                • The answer is in the next 20 verse

1664 And We have not sent down upon thee the Book except that thou mayest make clear to them that whereon they were at variance, and as a guidance and as a mercy to a people who believe.

                • The Book was sent down to the messenger so that it will the messenger could make it clear to the to mankind.

                • i.e The Book was sent to make clear the Book, or in other words.. the Book explains itself.

                • This understanding correlates with the other verses that mentioned that it is God who make clear

                Hope this helps

I will watch the video when I go home. However, Layth, I wanted to say the term "meglomaniac" you used is beyond PERFECT!!!

yay rotfl rotfl rotfl rotfl rotfl heheheheheheheheh this boy is so funny even his face make you laugh But actually his message is even more funny. Listen carefully what he says in the beginning 'Its not that we Ahel Sunnah claim that the Hadith explains the Quran. We say that Quran is a book made clear. No doubt about that. Its made clear. There are however some details of this religion that needs to be explained'' confused confused confused

Isnt his statement a contradiction. First he says that Quran is a book made clear and than he says that things need to be explained. Thats a contradiction. If something is clear then it does not needs to be explained since its clear. Its unclear things who need to be explained.
