Is God about Good or Evil or both or Nothing or Everything?
-
hello everyone,
we always think God as the good entity. Than is Bad another entity ?
we cant understand white without the concept of black. Both are important. we need one to appreciate the other or to hate also. We need to compare. We need relativity. If only good comes from God than Bad comes from where ? Is God only about good ? Even concept of good is relative and differs from person to person.
So what is God about ? good ? bad ? both ? nothing or everything ?
any answer ?

Peace Sham,
Excellent questions!
Today I was watching in awe the path of our next great hurricane, Ivan. I thought to myself, it is amazing that this natural phenomenon spinning at 150+ mph is cruising along the oceans, sucking up water like a vacuum, tearing down trees and everything in it's path, and eventually dumping all that water back on land.
If you take humans out of the equation completely and imagine just watching this "machine" at work from some place in the sky, you can see that it is an amazing and precise mechanism to boost the ecosystem.
There is nothing terrible about a hurricane. It is what it is, and it does it's job to perfection, in perfect "submission".
But when you subject humanity to it's effects, it becomes "terrible".
There is no good or bad, there is only the way of Allah. We can live in the illusion of not being in submission, or we can strive to live in perfect submission.

Peace be upon you,
Excellent Tay! Excellent!
And it goes with what I was going to answer, The God is above good and bad, the highest possible attribute that I can see is that of Peace.
As Tay said, if you sit back and watch this "machine" at work, it is an amazing Peace, it is only that most are not humbled into submission and think themselves to be seperate from this system.
We are told that we are the God's and to Him we return. Well, where do we return? To Peace.
That is how the desire we greet each other with, and that is the greeting at the garden. PEACE!
Blessed be the peacemakers.
