Tools that satan uses to divert from quran

Do ye then wonder at this recital?
And will ye laugh and not weep,-
Wasting your time in vanities?Peace all, when you read al-quran oftentimes there will be open ended questions.
E.g. (does man consider/remember there was a time he was nothing), (will any recieve admonition?), , (which of God's favours will you deny?)
You may gloss over them under the pretext that "these verses only apply to the disbelievers and I am a believer". Or if you do not consciously gloss over these things, then your subconscious mind will use the strict definitions of the words it knows based on your life experience and still gloss over them. This is how you can read quran over and over and over again and still learn something "new". The full message never entered your mind in the first place.
Truly however, when al-quran makes an example of people it is a reminder for ALL reading the book regardless of who/what they think they are. As much as it is a race to do good, it also seems to be a race to cleanse the nafs of faults.
