I just glanced at the article (I'm pretty busy today), but I am happy that you are implying a link between Islam and the science of the chakras. The Koran says a lot about individual resurrection, and I take this to be spiritual ascension. Good post! I'll read the article later.

I am not too sure. However it cannot be referring to sperm. And I was thinking the most obvious thing between the back and ribs is the heart which is such a big thing in the quran. But clearly in quran when it says heart it refers to the entire nervous system as one entity.
May god guide us
