Some Muslims who have left hadith still believe the Quran allows sex with slaves. Now tihs is not meant to mock or insult anyone so please no one take it in that manner. but a serious honest question. Taking into consideration the ayat that forbid adultery, enforce punishment for adultery, command the freeing of slaves, and not to force anyone into anything non consectual, It puts op a lot of red flags that Allah would allow sex with slaves. which is commiting adultery, it is lewdness, it is against their will. it causes a major clash between ayats. And God forgive me if I am wrong in this, but it does not appeal to logic nor to my heart, that my creator would allow such a characterless act? Anyone looked into this matter? any error I make is my own shortcoming and may Allah forgive me if I am in error. salams

      Salam,

Quranist Questions the Authority of Bukhari's Hadith

Christians Claims that Quran told Muslims must Obey Jesus and The Bible.

332 Say, "Obey Allah and the Messenger."

616 And when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah"

4363 And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allah and obey me.

2285 "We make no distinction between any of His messengers."

I've read "The Authority of Sunnah" by Muhammad Taqi Usmani. It is very convincing for me, but,

One Problem, It has no Verse from Quran that forbids Muslims from Following the Jesus Bible!

Please, provide a Verse from Quran, that says, "Muslims must not follow the Bible."

Or a verse from Quran that sounded like this; "Jesus Teachings only to Jews".
I need that Verse from Quran!

No need "Authenticity Arguments"(There's already Plenty convincing arguments), Just a Forbidding Verse,

To refute Christians Claim of the Authorization of their Bible for Muslims.

      Thank you and Salam.

There is nothing which is termed as "Jesus Bible". Books conceived and written by human hands have no sanctity notwithstanding they are captioned to reflect as if they were the books sent by Allah, the Exalted.

And never ever the Jews nor the Christians will be pleased with you till such time that you agree on literally following their creed. You the Messenger tell everyone; "The fact is that the Guidance of Allah is alone the Guidance ]; therefore be mindful that, if supposedly you inclined yourself to act/pursue upon their conjectures/desires/wishes, after that One which has brought to you facts of the concrete knowledge, there will certainly be none from Allah for you to act as protecting guardian nor a helper".

I'm Questioning the Authority of The Jesus Bible, not the Authority of Christian religion, not the Authenticity.

          Authority of Hadith
          316
And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment.

          Quran 61
praise is to Allah , who created the heavens and the earth.

          The Bible, Genesis 11
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Clearly The Bible, Genesis 11 do not Mislead, do not go against the law, Quran 316.

I need a Verse from Quran from a true Sunni Muslim, why The Bible is forbidden. A simple forbidding verse from quran that sounded like these,

"Muslims must not follow the Bible.", "Jesus Teachings only to Jews".

Enslaving others is an act of oppression... Period..
As such that answer the question of "whether it's legal to have sex with slaves", how could that be legal when slavery itself is forbidden.

Hadiths and Biblical apologists tried many times to defend such barbaric behaviors allegedly commanded by God.

"Treat others as you would like to be treated, that's the most important commandment".. as saith by Hillel and Jesus. In eastern philosophy this is known as "Karmic Law".

Those who failed to understand such simple concept and think that they can oppress other people because 'Their God saith they can do so' shall face the result of his/her own doing.. because that's the law which nobody can break or get away with.

Follow your conscience it shall not lead you astray.. because God speak through it to you...

"Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
            -- Steven Paul Jobs

Brother I have asked the same questions to the sunnis and the reply given was always ''God commands us to believe in the earlier books but however we THINK it does not apply for the bible today because its man made''. Than I said ''but the ahadith are also man made'' and they reply ''No thr difference between the ahadith and bible is the SCIENCE OF AHADITH(Isnad) which makes the AHADITH scientific reliable but makes the bible untrustworthy since its not scientific proven''.

In other words, both are man made but one can be trusted because of Isnad which is nonsense

                  Salam Albo,

The answer is "no". But I would like to know the line of argument that has been used to make this argument as you said it was made by people who do not accept the Hadith for authority?

Ask these socalled Muslims that left hadith and still believe that quran allows sex-slavery if they would object if I made their fathers my personal sex-slaves.

You don't need a religious text to know that any sort of slavery is a terrible thing.

Just my words ! Even a kid knows that all sorts of slavery - whether it be sexual slavery or non-sexual is a disgusting crime against humanity. You dont need a religious text to know that, that's basic knowledge just like you dont need a religious text to know that its wrong to kill or use violence. So every person who justify a shameful crime like slavery is either a psykopat or an evil person with potential to become a criminal slave-owner if he/she could get away with it.

If Sunni Reject the Bible 11 isn't that exactly the same Rejecting Quran 61?
If Sunni Disobey the Bible 11 isn't that exactly the same Disobey Quran 61?

Can someone provide me with the ahadith that allow Muslims to have sex with slaves? I'm particularly looking for the one which states sex can be done with the slaves in front of their husbands.

                                Thanks in advance.

MAN! If I had to be raped infront of my husband, over and over again.. I would kill myself! What a horrid existance!

Ask the Sunni Forum, I am sure they will with PRIDE give you a hadeeth close to that. The men on that forum, pride themselves on the God given divine right to take/rape what is theirs. They love their women in heaven and their sex crazied delusions. It is their reward for being a MAN. and a women can never comprehend the sexual struggle/desire of the man, and she has no right to reject or feel jealous over this.

For you perhaps, for some others it's different story.
That's why 'revelation' are being conveyed to those who DOES NOT understand / the ignorance (arabicJahil).
For those who does understand; such 'revelation' will not be considered as 'revelation' at all, as thus not required.

It was the 'sick' who need a medicine and not the healthy.
Oddly enough, some of those who are 'sick' take pride of themselves on 'being given' the medicine. They boast about themselves toward those who never took a medicine, because they never get sick at all.

A The doctor only give the aspirin to me and he didn't give any to you! Poor you... Let me give you some of my aspirin and teach you all about it. Otherwise you might get sick.
B No thanks, I don't need it, I'm fully healthy.

The above is a 'parable' to what's being quoted in my 'footer'.

                                    Salam / Peace

I think you mean MMA (ma malakat aymanukum). This is used to justify enslaving female captures. However MMA does not mean female prisoners or slaves. Its what the Bible refer to as concubines like Hagar and Queen Sheeba. It is a marriage without dowry and some rituals. There is no difference between a concubine or wife. MMA can mean marriage done by oath only. There is no financial exchange as is usual done. This is usually praticed by people who maybe poor.

There are many discussions here regarding MMA. Do a search. However you can start by looking here

Treatment of slavesIbn Kathir comments on verse 36 in Chapter An-Nisa in the Qur'an that people must behave kindly to the one held as captive by others since they are weak by quoting an authentic hadith, in his opinion, in which Muhammad during an illness before his death recommended people to care of the captives. He also supports good treatment of captives by quoting hadiths from Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim that the slave has the right to have food, clothing and to only be required to perform what he can bear of work.

In Islamic Divine Law (Arabic Sharia), Ma malakat aymanukum is the term for slaves or captives of war.

According to some Muslim theologians, it is lawful for male masters to have sexual relations with female captives.

Some however like Ibn Kathir claims for verse 25 in Chapter An-Nisa in the Qur'an that the interpretation of it is that it is not allowed for "that your right hand possess" to commit fornication, and quotes Ibn Abbas interpretation to be not refraining from illicit sexual intercourse with whoever asks for it. In the same verse Ibn Kathir continues his interpretation by commenting that is not either allowed for "that your right hand possess" to take boyfriends according to Abu Hurayrah, Mujahid, Ash-Shabi, Ad-Dahhak, Ata' Al-Khurasani, Yahya bin Abi Kathir, Muqatil bin Hayyan and As-Suddi.

Although slavery was not outright condemned, Muslims argue that this is because slavery was a vital part of the world during the time of the revelation and it would be difficult for society to end it immediately. Muslims (apologetics) argue that God sought to incrementally push for the abolishment of slavery through personal humanitarian initiatives. For example, "The Prophet said, "Give food to the hungry, pay a visit to the sick and release (set free) the one in captivity (by paying his ransom)." Also when an individual erred such as missing a day of fasting they were to free a slave. Slavery was not encouraged, i.e. there was no command to take slaves. On the contrary, there were commands that freeing slaves is a righteous act. Therefore this set the emancipation of slaves in motion. While this emancipation was occurring the Qur'an and the Prophet established rights for slaves that were not before enjoyed as well as limiting the source of slavery to only prisoners of war.

It was a practice and tradition of the Prophet Muhammad to release from captivity those females who would face the risk of being disgraced or humiliated as a result of being held as captives or slaves, and those who came from respected backgrounds that were known for their philanthropic contributions to the general masses, regardless if their charitable deeds benefited Muslims or non-Muslims.

After the Muslims executed the male members of the Banu Qurayza tribe, the women and children were taken as slaves, Muhammad himself took Rayhana as his slave.

During the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad, the tribe of Tayy that lived to the North East of the city of Madina, engaged in banditry and highway robbery, and came in conflict with the Muslims of Madina, which led to battles in between them that led to Tayy's defeat, and the subsequent captivity of some of their tribes folk.

In JudaismIn Judaism, concubines are referred to by the Hebrew term pilegesh. The term is a non-Hebrew, non-Semitic loanword deriving from the Greek word pallakis, Greek , meaning a mistress staying in house. Or the Aramaic phrase palga isha, meaning half-wife.

According to the Babylonian Talmud, the difference between a concubine and a full wife was that the latter received a marriage contract (Hebrewketubah) and her marriage (nissu'in) was preceded by a formal betrothal (erusin), neither being the case for a concubine. But, one opinion in the Jerusalem Talmud argues that the concubine should also receive a marriage contract, but without including a clause specifying a divorce settlement.

Certain Jewish thinkers, such as Maimonides, believed that concubines are strictly reserved for kings, and thus that a commoner may not have a concubine; indeed, such thinkers argued that commoners may not engage in any type of sexual relations outside of a marriage. Before Maimonides concluded this, Sunni Muslims officially prohibited mutah (i.e. temporary marriage) relationships; some commentators' suggest that Maimonides changed his view in response to this development, similar to Gershom ben Judah's ban on polygamy being made after Christians had prohibited it.

Maimonides was not the first Jewish thinker to criticise concubinage; for example, it is severely condemned in Leviticus Rabbah. Other Jewish thinkers, such as Nahmanides, Samuel ben Uri Shraga Phoebus, and Jacob Emden, strongly object to the idea that concubines should be forbidden.

In the Hebrew of the contemporary State of Israel, the word pilegesh is often used as the equivalent of the English word mistress - i.e. the female partner in extramarital relations, even when these relations have no legal recognition. There are attempts to popularise pilegesh as a form of premarital, non-marital and extramarital relationships which (in their view) would be permitted by Jewish religious law.

The Koran gave only two options for prisoners of war, either they are set free or ransom of some sort.(fidya) It also says that prisoners are a form of charity.

Hey Indelwyn, good to see you back. I'd rather not try and ask on Sunniforum because they already know who I am (the ID I use) so it would probably cause a huge argument with them calling me Kuffar! God knows how many times. Maybe I'll do it just for the lulz but that would get me banned.

The strange thing is even muslim women (especially on Sunniforum) support all this sex slave crap

Hadith do strange things to human beings.

Btw, has anyone got references to the Hadith I'm looking for?! (Post 14)

Yeah I can't wrap my head around that. I have tried, I can't. They disregard their own self-worth and that of other women.. I don't get it.

I am looking for a hadith to match what you have asked.

My leave of absence was probably the time I needed you guys. My car was vandilized, over 4 K worth of damage. A few months ago, some through a brick through my front window almost hitting my then 7 month old. Thank god, everything is good now. It is listed as a hate crime (which is a federal offense) so after that we decided to move. So in the last three weeks that is what I have been up to... But I missed you guys. Feels good to be back )
