The Secret: The Law of attraction
-
Allah is the one who gives you your desires, leads you astray or aright, and Allah is the one who gives you anything, and may also make it that you do not desire what you get, or that you desire something and it comes, or any variation, but it is Allah who is in control of everything, you do not command Allah or get whatever you ask for necessarily, all power belongs to Allah who creates whatever information or reality Allah wants.
The "Secret" uses terms like "co-creators" and says "we are all co-creators" and that whatever you set your intention upon you will get it. The Qur'an talks about these ideas apparently existing even in the past, and that they are false, and that it is basically shirk, associating oneself with Allah or Allah's power to make things happen. It is different from the realization of total surrender.
I wonder why both follow such a God. I don't see much of difference between the characteristics of Allah and Satan then, except that Satan is also a being under Allah. I read this in an article
'The following verses assert that Allah misleads people by making their deeds pleasing to them.
"As to those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds pleasing in their eyes; and so they wander about in distraction."
?Nay! to those who believe not, their pretence seems pleasing, but they are kept back (thereby) from the path. And those whom Allah leaves to stray, no one can guide.?This is mischievous. Why would God do such thing? But wait a minute. In other parts of the Quran Muhammad says that it is Satan that makes their sinful act seem alluring to them.
?..On the contrary their hearts became hardened, and SATAN made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them."
"Remember SATAN made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them, and said..."
"By Allah, We (also) sent (Our messengers) to Peoples before thee; but Satan made, (to the wicked), their own acts seem alluring He is also their patron today."Well, that makes sense. Since Satan?s goal is to deceive and mislead, he is capable of doing such thing. So is it Satan or is it Allah that makes sin alluring to people? Could it be that the two are one? How can we be sure that they are not the same?'
I feel FreedomStands also may not have problem in knowing that Allah and Satan are actually the same being with a split personality, like Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hide, since he said earlier this "God is the Lord of Evil, the Master of Good, the source of all happiness, sadness, and all experiences and thoughts and creeds and technologies and evil deeds and good deeds and whatever else."
Peace.

It isn't a split personality, it is One Ultimate Source, it isn't a duality of opposites or two, it is the manifestation of all information from one source.
Satan means enemy, and there can be no greater Enemy than Allah, if one is going to make an Enemy out of Allah or Allah makes Himself an enemy towards people, because Allah is the foe who can not be defeated, who has already won, there is no battle, there is no option, there is only Surrender.
Iblis is a Shaitan, one of many shaitans from among the jinn and men, these are also controlled by Allah ultimately, and they can only do as Allah wills.
Or is it that you believe in a God that has faltered? That did not wish for these things to be, but can not defeat them easily? Do you believe in a God that is at war? That has an enemy who can oppose him? Do you believe in a God who does not want things to be the way they are but is so helpless that it can not do anything about it? Or a God that can do some things about it, but can not instantly overcome anything? Why would you worship a God that is thus like a man in its weakness? Even if such a being existed, I would never call such God, even if such had the greatest intentions for people and did good things, it would not be the Ultimate, it would be less than the Ultimate, it would have obstacles, it would be limited, it would be restrained, it would need a process in order to achieve rather than the one that creates everything.
Shaitan is just one enemy of many enemies, controlled by Allah whether they know it or not, but there is no greater power than Allah, Who is the Enemy to some, but the Enemy which can not be overcome or defeated.
They call Satan, Lucifer at times, even though the term is also used of Jesus the Messiah son of Mary as well, and referring to the Morning Star was apparently a general epithet for Semitic Kings, but the meaning of the specific Latin term Lucifer, which refers to the morning star, is "Light Bearer", and who then is the truest light bearer of all? Allah is the one who created all natural light and all metaphorical light in the sense of "knowledge" or "that which makes one see" and Allah is the one who makes one able to see, and makes things manifest to people, thus Allah is also most appropriately Amun-Ra, Amun meaning Unseen and Ra meaning Manifest, or "that which makes manifest", "that which brings to light".

Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion?
Hence, be not in haste upon them for We but number the number of their days.Satan is not the King of Devils, Allah is the Lord of all the Devils, the Commander of all Hosts, the Lord of All Armies both the just and the cruel.
demon (n.) Look up demon at Dictionary.com
c.1200, from Latin daemon "spirit," from Greek daimon "deity, divine power; lesser god; guiding spirit, tutelary deity" (sometimes including souls of the dead); "one's genius, lot, or fortune;" from PIE *dai-mon- "divider, provider" (of fortunes or destinies), from root *da- "to divide" (see tide (n.)).Used (with daimonion) in Christian Greek translations and Vulgate for "god of the heathen" and "unclean spirit." Jewish authors earlier had employed the Greek word in this sense, using it to render shedim "lords, idols" in the Septuagint, and Matt. viii31 has daimones, translated as deofol in Old English, feend or deuil in Middle English. Another Old English word for this was hellcniht, literally "hell-knight."
The original mythological sense is sometimes written daemon for purposes of distinction. The Demon of Socrates was a daimonion, a "divine principle or inward oracle." His accusers, and later the Church Fathers, however, represented this otherwise. The Demon Star (1895) is Algol.
Who is the Daemon, by that definition, who is the "divider of fortunes" the "provider of fates"? Allah Alone! Allah Alone divides the fortunes of people, Allah alone decides their lot in life, what they are and what they will be.
Who is the Weird?
weird (adj.) Look up weird at Dictionary.com
c.1400, "having power to control fate, from wierd (n.), from Old English wyrd "fate, chance, fortune; destiny; the Fates," literally "that which comes," from Proto-Germanic *wurthiz (cognates Old Saxon wurd, Old High German wurt "fate," Old Norse ur?r "fate, one of the three Norns", from PIE *wert- "to turn, to wind," (cognates German werden, Old English weor?an "to become", from root *wer- (3) "to turn, bend" (see versus). For sense development from "turning" to "becoming," compare phrase turn into "become."The sense "uncanny, supernatural" developed from Middle English use of weird sisters for the three fates or Norns (in Germanic mythology), the goddesses who controlled human destiny. They were portrayed as odd or frightening in appearance, as in "Macbeth" (and especially in 18th and 19th century productions of it), which led to the adjectival meaning "odd-looking, uncanny" (1815); "odd, strange, disturbingly different" (1820). Related Weirdly; weirdness.
It is Allah alone who controls the Fates, thus Allah is Zeus Moiragetes, God the Master of Fates.
These are just terminologies that can be used to refer to the Ultimate by the definition and qualities that belong Ultimate alone.
God is the Chaos, in both its definitions, in the sense of "Like Nothing" which was the original meaning of Chaos which meant "void" or "that which is like nothing by which everything was produced" (since Hesiod among others referred to Khaos as the original Protogenoi or Originating force) and in the sense of Chaos now, complete and total Free Will, unbounded by anything, can do anything, and whatever Allah makes true or real, it will be so, and whatever Allah destroys or makes like nothing, Allah alone has all the power.
I am not, when I speak of the Ultimate, referring to some man in the sky with a big white beard, sitting in the clouds, who has a background that is greater, but instead I am speaking of the Ultimate, that is not made of any information, so not pure blackness, not empty space, not pure whiteness, unimaginable because there is literally no information to imagine, no form, no limits, no size, no dimensions, no laws, nothing at all, except that it has the power to produce information and encompasses and contains and upholds and sustains and animates all information it produces, a productive power called Musubi in Japan and Logos by the Stoics and Christians, and Vac by the Hindus as well as Shakti.
Allah is Shiva (Auspicious), but not those images they attribute as depictions of Shiva, those are just information, and no information encompasses Allah, Allah is not made of any information but makes all information and encompasses all information that is created. When something is made non-existent entirely, it is said to "become nothing" and thus "return to Allah", the same occurs to us when we cease to experience information, and non-information can not be experience, so it is entirely skipped, same with absolute unconsciousness or a dreamless sleep, all non-information is skipped and is like "returning to Allah".
Allah is Vishnu (Pervading), but all this information is encompassed by Allah, Allah is behind all of it, directly animating it all, and its information which gives a sense of space, dimensions, distances, we are all just encompassed by Allah having information given to us, and that is all we know and all "we are" and we can be made to experience anything at all, and our memories can be switched, and we are as the Buddhists say "empty", behind all this is "nothing" that is Allah, we do not have an eternal being, we are not immortals, we are only what Allah makes us, and Allah can eradicate us, and Allah can bring us back, and Allah can create any information, and the manipulation of information, its creation and destruction, this is all the Ultimate's dominion and power to do, there is nothing but the Ultimate and whatever information the Ultimate creates.
I am a thus, a genuine Christian, Buddhist, Jew, Hindu, Atheist, Muslim, Deist, Theist, Follower of the Ancient Religions, Zoroastrian Magi, who knows who has the real Magic, who controls the power of illusion and Sihr. All the Sorcerers who witnessed the Miracle of Allah instantly turning the wood into the snake, surrendered realizing the true power of Allah to change information instantly, and I too am such, a Sorcerer who is aware of the source of all Power, who turns works, even the words people fear like Death (Thanatos), and Annihilation (Nirvana), and Destroyer (Apollyon, Apollo) into praises of the Ultimate and turning what seems bad like Hate, Anger, Envy, into good, by saying we should Hate what is harmful, be Angry towards a bad condition so we strive if Allah so wills to work against it and are energized by anger towards goodness and improvement if Allah so wills (Insha'Allah), and be envious of those who are most beautiful and excellent in conduct so we seek to covet and seize for ourselves those excellent behaviors if Allah so wills. Thus is my practice of Sihr and Sorcery, all as a devotee of the Lord of the Worlds, the Master of Everything, Who fetters the will, as it is written of the Suevians in Germania when speaking of Regnator Omnium Deus
In Tacitus' work Germania from the year 98, regnator omnium deus (god, ruler of all) was a deity worshipped by the Semnones tribe in a sacred grove. Comparisons have been made between this reference and the poem Helgakvi?a Hundingsbana II, recorded in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources.

Germania
According to TacitusOf all the Suevians, the Semnones recount themselves to be the most ancient and most noble. The belief of their antiquity is confirmed by religious mysteries. At a stated time of the year, all the several people descended from the same stock, assemble by their deputies in a wood; consecrated by the idolatries of their forefathers, and by superstitious awe in times of old. There by publicly sacrificing a man, they begin the horrible solemnity of their barbarous worship. To this grove another sort of reverence is also paid. No one enters it otherwise than bound with ligatures, thence professing his subordination and meanness, and the power of the Deity there. If he falls down, he is not permitted to rise or be raised, but grovels along upon the ground. And of all their superstition, this is the drift and tendency; that from this place the nation drew their original, that here God, the supreme Governor of the world, resides, and that all things else whatsoever are subject to him and bound to obey him.
Poetic Edda
The description is often compared with a prose paragraph in the Eddic poem Helgakvi?a Hundingsbana II where a place called Fj?turlundr (grove of fetters) is mentionedHelgi obtained Sigr?n, and they had sons. Helgi lived not to be old. Dag, the son of H?gni, sacrificed to Odin, for vengeance for his father. Odin lent Dag his spear. Dag met with his relation Helgi in a place called Fi?turlund, and pierced him through with his spear. Helgi fell there, but Dag rode to the mountains and told Sigr?n what had taken place.
Due to the resemblance between the two texts some scholars have identified the deity of the Semnones with an early form of Odin. Others suggest an early form of T?r may have been involved as he is the one to put fetters on Fenrir in Norse mythology; yet Odin is considered the god of binding and fettering of the will. There is insufficient evidence for a certain identification.

There is God, and there is everything, that He has created, mainly separate consciousness that do not acknowledge themselves as His conscience.
That is nothing terrible, that is a condition for creation. That is a mnaifestation of divinity in the sense that everything comes from Him and returns to him. The shaytanic forces aim a keeping separation, whereas the aim of conscioussness is to return to The consciousness. So ibliis and shaytan are elements that sustain the creation but that keep its elements from returning to God-consciousness. They are useful elements, but they are bad elements for people who seek the ascension back to God consciousness.

Oh my God. The descriptions seem to be getting creepier and creepier. Apparently Allah is then the King of Goodness and the King of Evil. In a way of polarity it makes sense. But then I doubt evil is what God also is equally capable of doing or something, as you seem to be implying. Because God's attributes have mercy and justice included within.
I am actually starting to prefer the occasional creepy and horrendous behaviour and attitude of Allah in the Quran in it's traditional interpretations and translations than this monster version. Okay, maybe not. Both suck.
Guys, please pay attention to what you come across. Make your own thorough research before you accept anything, particularly about the nature of God. Because God is at the end the only real Source we have, to look up to. And very importantly, we humans have a tendency to copy God's attributes. The kind of Source we look up to is the kind of attributes we would slowly start assimilating with.
Peace.

Can you describe God to me in as much detail as possible? I'm talking about what is real, that God is the source of everything, so everything is from Allah, the good and the bad, its not really a polarity, each is just a kind of information or experience out of many experiences God might create for us.

As for the "law of attraction" it is in my opinion a deceptive form of shirk, which the Qur'an even talks about
I experimented with law of attraction and came to conclusion that it works. Apparently, I didn't find anything shirk in it because it involves no God. It doesn't associate him with partner either. I have also pondered upon my past and came to conclusion that some things I wanted came true because of law of attraction. Some of them were really silly. However, I believe it is far more comfortable to ask Allah for things. At the end of the day, he is the creator of universe and its laws. And I am in agreement with MOF (from your other thread) that we live within the sustainer. So it is really easier to focus on him than the universe.
I pondered upon verse 4220 and came to conclusion that it can't be true for everyone wishing for harvest because 4219 speaks about disbelievers. Also Prophet Solomon and David were kings (rich). I don't think the righteous rich people will get hell in the afterlife.
-
It involves you as a little God or co-creator, who by your desires wills things or manifests things into your reality. That is why its a subtle form, it even says stuff like you are "co-creator" and that is the meaning of shirk, "sharing" as in "sharing the power" to manifest things. Yes, it certainly can work or appear to work, so can black magic and idolatry and many other things. They do work because God is doing it. The problem is the beliefs in it and God deceives people by it by making them think they are manifesting the things. Many witches and others often get sick later on and then are wondering how it was their fault or how to get rid of it etc, the same used to happen in ancient times, its not the magic that makes them sick, its just that they get sick normally but then they think its some magical issue or their fault.
It takes people far away from an understanding of things and puts them into self deception and delusion.
It is easy to explain why it is you have no freedom. If you have freedom, you're simply stating that whatever it is you particularly call God is not the determiner, but the determiner is "Chance" or Probability, because "I can do this, or I can do that" means "Chance determines" and thus Allah or God or whatever is less than "Chance" and not the decider. So the "Ultimate" is "Chance", which is fine by me. I just use the word Allah to refer to "whatever is the Ultimate" not anything less than that, so if the determiner is something else, it is the determiner I worship.
There are many reasons why it is totally impossible logically and otherwise, but people don't think deeply or hard about these things and so they remain dancing around in their fantasies.
For example, your dream and the things that Man of Faith talk about and the other person are all legit, those are legit real experiences you all had, but they are all unimportant entirely too, because God can make any sort of system and convince people of it, and this was demonstrated with the "staff snake staff" thing, reality can be altered in an instant, and your experience is just information from God which can be totally demented in a second, no problem at all.
Knowing this terrible truth is what finally frees people from their incredible ego, where they realize they are both expendable and unimportant, only existing by the grace of God, and whatever it is you're experiencing and you're experiencing as yourself, that is God doing it, there is no other power or actor (what I call God, not this other thing people talk about). So if you believe in freedom of choice (despite the Qur'an saying otherwise pretty explicitly and repeatedly as I tried to show examples of in my articles), you are simply saying that the ultimate determiner is "Chance", so "Chance is the Ultimate Cause, thus is what I'm calling God. If you worship anything less than the Ultimate, you're misplacing your direction. If you claim you determine things, that is the ego talking really, in truth, the Ultimate determines everything, not any of us, we're all just empty and can be turned into anything at all.
There is no way around it or any argument if anyone carefully follows the logic. That is why everyone on this website is a bit silly in not understanding. This stuff is solid.
Everything I try to say about God are solid and careful things. I don't just say God is non-information or non-dependent on information for no reason, its absolutely something which is necessary for something to be Ultimate and I explain why that is the case.
This stuff is mathematical and careful, its heavy logic, and most people are not practiced in things like that.
Also where are my emails, I wanted to find out about the Satanists and stuff!
Thank you for your comments!

Hi reel,
I pondered upon verse 4220 and came to conclusion that it can't be true for everyone wishing for harvest because 4219 speaks about disbelievers. Also Prophet Solomon and David were kings (rich). I don't think the righteous rich people will get hell in the afterlife.
Not necessarily, but it is a greater challenge to possess authority and wealth. When scriptures speak of wealth it refers to people who hold on dearly to their wealth without sharing a coin, but they also often indulge in vain and buy things totally unnecessary. A problem is that possessions have the bad habit of changing people. As Jesus said "... that is also where your heart will be".
It is not the money itself that will make them feel Gehennom, but it is the instinctive drive and physical love of materialism that will.
If you have money you should not hoard it somewhere but put it into investment that benefits a lot of people like running a business that can employ a lot of people for their sustenance. This way you are a mini-sustainer like your great Sustainer, showing your symbiotic nature clearly.
The optimum rich does live like a normal family with normal things and a normal car and uses their wealth to benefit others instead of indulging themselves. This is what David and Solomon did, except that there were no cars back then...
Be well

Money, like power or even alcohol in a way, are not evil in themselves. Instead, these things give us the opportunity to act in ways we otherwise wouldn't have, had it not been for the presence of money, power or alcohol (for example).
Money suddenly makes you able to indulge in things you otherwise couldn't. However, the urge, or tendency was always there, but there was no possibility to act it out.
Same thing with power. Suddenly you have the mandate to do as you wish, while before you were limited. Now your true face will come out.
Alcohol is similar in one way (but also different). It is similar in that certain inhibitions are removed which in turn brings out your true self, which is no longer kept in check. Hence the saying 'in vino veritas'.
Cheers

Not if you apparently don't have taste buds! I ordered some food the other day, expecting it to be good, totally no taste! Then I floated my way back home!
