Bearing witness there is no God at all
-
Salaam Student,
you think you need a statement of 'There is No God. Only the God.' that is both a contradictory statement and a nonsensical one, if we change the term God for another word, There is no truth. Only the truth? There is No ignorance. Only the ignorance? There is no stupidity. Only the stupidity?
Allah does not mean The God. No evidence exists for a God, hence the statement, 'There is No God.' with a full stop.
There is tons of evidence for a creator, but that is not a God.
Allah is indeed the Creator of all realities, but Allah is not a God.
Does the Qur'an ask you to refer to the Creator or to a God, to the sustainer, the maintainer, the most merciful, the most beneficent, the attributes of the Creator, not the God of a male personification, to be worshipped and prayed to.
The creator of all reality does not need your prayers, but wishes you to act with a duty of care for those around you, for the natural world, for the future generations. As Allah manifests all realities from the inside out instant to instant, what you see, feel, hear, think is of the Creator, who are you praying to outside of yourself?
The Creator is closer than your jugular vein, the creator is manifesting you and all reality from the inside out, this demands if you wish to know the creator, that can only be achieved from the inside out, no amount of outward praying will alter anything, you change yourself from the inside and demonstrate that inner being through your outward actions, hence you're are judged upon your actions.
But worship, pray and have hollow faith, act religiously against those around you in pieous sanctity, you will be judged and fail the simple test of life, truth is truth, you need look no further than the slave masters of religion upon the minds of mankind, imposing the misery and stagnation of religious dogma which drags ignorance as its blanket.
Islam would free the world, but religion has hidden its truth.
Shalom,
Ok... it was a "choice of word" issue.
By the way, I never said "There is No God. Only God." In contrast, I said "There is no God EXCEPT THE God".
Lets say, you come to me looking for a weapon. I tell you "there is no weapon except my weapon". It makes sense, unless you split the sentence and discuss them in isolation to each other, example
Student of Allah said There is no weapon
Student of Allah said Only my weaponThe statements are contradictory. But not when you put them together as "There is no weapon except my weapon".
Whatever, anyways, I agree with you alot on what you said about religion. Islam seems to be very much non-religious if analysed with our understanding of religion.

There are far too many sufferings and "injustices in this world for a god to exist. How many times must The Qur'an repeats that, there is no god, but only Allah?. My view of Islam is, as a perfect system and not as a reliigion full of rituals.

Shalom everyone,
I dont know if I can stop caring about the community if there is no God.
Salaam,
I think you misunderstood my post. I did not say I would STOP caring about the community. I said that I would still do good (hopefully), but not in the same intensity as I would be when I believed in the existence of God. I would still care about the community, yes, but I would not have the desire to push myself to do more. Islam is more or less about submitting to God and creating social revolution. In a sense that being a believer is about striving in the way of God, and dedicates our wealh and being to develop the state of mankind. If I did not believe in God (and Islam in this case), I would probably do my social contribution in a more 'conventional' way. Give some money to charity, and just be a type of person that people don't have problems with. Perhaps I would follow the steps of the majority of other people. Go to uni, get good marks, get a job, focus on professional progression, get some $$$, get married, have kids, retire with a house, pass away (while throwing some money here and there). So yeah, that would be the extent of my life without God. It does not necessarily mean that I would stop caring about community, I just probably would not consider taking the extra steps. I would probable be okay with eating pork, or partaking in usury, or being engaged in sexual relation before marriage (which you have to admit, these activities are 'socially' acceptable in many countries in contemporary society).
With being aware of God's existence, I believe my priorities and my perception of life has changed. I think I will generalise here... for people who believe in God, they become/adopt the attributes of God that they perceive. If you believe in vengeful and angry God, then these characters will be embedded within you. Removing 'God' from your heart will then make you less hateful/intolerant. If you believe in a loving and a compassionate God, then you will become a loving and compassionate person yourself. So taking the existence of God in this scenario, will make you less loving and compassionate (though I will not say you will become a bad person, but the degree of love and compassion you feel will be less).
In a nuthsell, for me, believing in God is about implementing His laws and feeling 'the God within.' God as I perceive (in Islam) is all the good attributes in existence. I would most certainly lose some (though not all) these attributes that I strive to be as a believer, if I stop believing in God (because I would no longer feel the God within). Forgiving would be a bit more difficult, being more humble would be very challenging, etc. Anyway, that does not mean I would become a bad person or stop caring about the community. But my actions will probably be bound by social and moral values in existence (being good person in general), rather than the 'divine' teachings that I currently believe.
I hope that makes sense.
Salaam.

You still didnt get it my friend P
Salaam,

4216 And those who debate about God, after they had been answered, their argument is nullified at their Lord. They have incurred a wrath, and will have a severe retribution.&

680 And his people debated with him. He said "Do you debate with me regarding God, when He has guided me? I do not fear that which you have set up except if my Lord wills; my Lord encompasses all things in knowledge; will you not remember?"2258
2258 Have you not noted him who debated with Abraham regarding his Lord, while God had given him a kingship? Abraham said "My Lord is the One who gives life and death," he said "I bring life and death." Abraham said "God brings the sun from the east, so you bring it from the west." The one who rejected was baffled! And God does not guide the wicked people.2623

2625 He said to those around him "Do you hear that?"
2626 He said "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of old!"
2627 He said "This messenger of yours who has been sent to you is crazy!"
2628 He said "The Lord of the east and the west, and what is between them, if you comprehend."228

Salaam,
there is no God, that is a 100% fact, it is not a what if, how does that impact your life, it removes a figmant of your imagination to blame, to worship, to beg for advantage over your neighbour, it removes the dogma of religion, it allows you to seach for what there truely is, not what ignorance invents, not wishful thinking, not something that absolutely no evidence exists for.
It allows you to question everything, it allows you to find answers that give reasoned and logical conclusions to remedy, because you have taken the lies away, you have shed the easy option, the quick fix, the common delusion. This is why the very foundation of Islam is 'There is No God'.
God takes a Creator and makes it a man in the sky looking down, it makes you 'Religious', and there is nothing worse than religion to spread hate, confusion and bigotry, religion is like a man with a big dick, who takes it out constantly and shows people how big it is, shoving it right in their faces, trying to ram it down their throat, beating them with it, he parades that big dick around with pride and confidence, but everyone knows he's just a big dick in the end, without depth of purpose or knowledge.
you're right, there is absolutely no evidence that there is a God. Similarly there is no evidence for the existence of a unicorn, flying spagetti monster etc.

I feel like crying now. I dont know dude, I simply asked "what if".... and people here are trying to convince me that there is a God or there isnt any. Which was not what I asked them to address. My question is, what if there was no internet, and these guys are debating over the existance of the internet and evidences...... I dont know what to say.

Salam/Shalom,
I feel u bro. U're not alone. Sometimes ppl get too engrossed on the path and forgot to look up and see where they are, or to take a step back into 3rd person view.
As the elders always say........on 2nd thoughts, i'd better not, dont want to be receiving flaks n verse quotations...

Peace,
The issue is that no matter what you are doing, you are always testifying there is a God.
Why? God is synonymous with existence. The universe is in existence, it is not existence itself.
What is God? What is "what"? What is "is"? If you can hop out of duality you may be able to see for yourself.
Self or no-self, it is the same, the same existence/Al-Haqq/Sure Truth. Exist or do not exist, life goes on in existence!
So when you testify "There is no God", what exactly do you mean by "There", "is", "no", "God"? That will answer your question.
As you can see nobody here is capable of answering it because you do not know what you are asking. Only you are, truly.

Shalom,
I have been thinking about it. What difference does it make in your life , if you are convinced and testify and bear witness that there is no God at all ?

----------------- Student of AllahI think it wouldn't really change anything except eventually over time, no matter what is presented as truth to people that conflict with their beliefs, they will not believe, unless those who are more liberal maybe.
I believe it can become a form of major controversy if something like this were to be discussed. Eventually in time if people did brace such a belief might cause an extreme case of natural selection or more invested time and money into research to prolong our organs, our cells etc. and a form of tighter security for life. Also embrace and invest more time into the parallel universes theory, possibly even time manipulation. That's all I can think of now.
