--- According to the Koran planet Earth will not be destroyed at the Day of Judgement, rather it will be transformed into a place of the Light of the Creator.
3969 The earth will shine with the light of its Lord ?
--- The Earth will be inherited by the righteous believers and remains a home for the part of mankind that will pass the test.
3974 They said, "Praise be to God who has fulfilled His promise to us, and He made us inherit the earth, enjoying Paradise as we please. What a beautiful recompense for the workers!"
21105 We have written in the Psalms "After the reminder, that the earth will be inherited by My servants who do good.--- During the process of the Day of Judgement a part of mankind (and of the inhabitants of the Heavens)will be in a conscious state others will be in an unconscious state. This implies that the process of transformation towards a new world (and universe) will be soft enough to provide for life on Earth (and in the Heavens) during this process.
According to the Koran there will be earthquakes and other forms of turmoil, but the Earth will remain inhabitable for the ones who are spared by God.3968 The horn will be blown, whereupon everyone in the heavens and the earth will be struck unconscious, except those spared by God. Then it will be blown another time, whereupon they will all rise up, looking.

563 It will bring low and raise up.
The same word is used in the description of the ascension-process of the messenger-prophet Jesus.
4158 Instead, God raised him to Himself; and God is Noble, Wise.
The Earth will be a place of the Light of the Lord ? verse 3969, the people who pass the test will shine with the light as well.
668 O you who acknowledge, you shall repent to God a sincere repentance. It may be that your Lord will remit your sins and admit you into paradises with rivers flowing beneath. On that day, God will not disappoint the prophet and those who acknowledged with him. Their light will radiate around them and to their right. They will say, "Our Lord, keep perfect our light for us, and forgive us; You are able to do all things."
--- The Day of Judgement refers to a long period of time, not to a day as humans know it.
704 The angels and the Spirit ascend to Him in a day which is equivalent to fifty thousand years.

8922 Your Lord comes with the angels row after row.

612 Say, "To whom is all that is in heavens and earth?" Say, "To God." He has decreed mercy on Himself, that He will gather you towards the day of Resurrection in which there is no doubt. Those who have lost themselves, they do not acknowledge.
4229 From among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the creatures He spreads in them. He is able to gather them, if He wills.

1993 Every single one in the heavens and the earth is a servant of the Most Gracious.
1995 All of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection as individuals.
1996 Surely, those who believe and lead a righteous life, the Most Gracious will shower them with love.The Paradise will be a transformed universe in which planet Earth and the Heavens will be connected ? the universe will be a garden of abundance.
3133 Race towards forgiveness from your Lord and a paradise whose width encompasses the width of the heavens and the earth; it has been prepared for the conscientious.
--- During the way towards the Day of Judgement the believers have to avoid the corruption of planet Earth.
756 Do not corrupt the earth after it has been set straight, and worship Him out of reverence, and out of hope. Surely, God's mercy is attainable by the righteous.
The Earth will be the place for the righteous believers who inherit the Earth ? so the believers have to give due respect to the Earth as a precious creation of God. This includes being a peacemaker, the sharing of abundance and the protection of the environment.
