Does "Be" refers to a process of Cause and Effect?

Dear All, Salam
We read in 6101
the Originator of the heavens and the earth! How could it be that He should have a child without there ever having been a mate for Him - since it is He who has created everything, and He alone knows everything?
Could a critic not ask that in many places when it comes to Allah's powers, all He has to say "Be" and it is? .
Can we then assume that where ever Allah says "Be" it means a process of cause and effect starts and every thing just not appears "Poof" as in a magic. This can apply to creation of the universe which took a very long time to develop.
In other words, this universe is run on the basis of cause and effect which we may refer to a natural law of which the Creator is the Cause of Causes.

Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking a few days ago, I'd answer yes. But if Allah wants it can make the universe be created in a moment, but think this as a story.
We're the characters,
the universe is the world the story is taking place in,
Allah is our author, our dreamer,
Allah created this world to test its imagination,
So there can't be any plot-holes, since Allah is perfect and makes no mistakes. -

I personally believe that this is the case. Allah gives us many signs of this. Look at the creation of man. The Qur'an illustrates the stages of embryology, yet it is all done by Allahs command of "Be". Also, look at the creation of our Universe. Everything is in stages.

i think this is sure true. but what is with all the miracles in the quran and the thora? Couldn't Allah, who makes everything with the word Be (process of Cause and Effect) , makes also miracles without causes and effects? sure. What is with the story from Abraham and the bird? and Isa? thanks.
