    Salaams,

If the new qibla is the straight way (from 2.142) and the masjid al haram (from 2.149) then, is it almasjid alharam=the straight way?

The new Qibla is the straight way.

2142 The fools among the people will say "What hath turned them from the QIBLA to which they were used?" Say To Allah belongs what is brought forward and what is done away with He guideth whom He will to the Way that is straight.

    English (Yusuf Ali)
2149 From whencesoever Thou startest forth, turn Thy face in the direction of the sacred masjid/submission ; that is indeed the truth from the Lord. And Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.

    what is the straight way.

6.151 Sahih International Say, "Come, I will recite what your Lord has made sacred to you. that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden except by right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason."

6.152 Sahih International And do not approach the orphan's property except in a way that is best until he reaches maturity. And give full measure and weight in justice. We do not charge any soul except its capacity. And when you testify, be just, even if a near relative. And the covenant of Allah fulfill. This has He instructed you that you may remember.

siratee mustaqeeman ? the above is the straight way.(from 6.153)

6.153 Sahih International And, , this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous.

6.154 Sahih International Then We gave Moses the Scripture, making complete upon the one who did good and as a detailed explanation of all things and as guidance and mercy that perhaps in the meeting with their Lord they would believe.

Haram al masjid's meaning is so obviously corrupted that it is foolish to not even think of that.

Since when does haram mean sacred?

Let go of all rituals, they're not islamic

Peace be with you as well,
Hajj and Masjid al-haram are one of those touchy controversia subjects
There are supports for Masjid Alharam being in Mecca on one hand, and it being in Jerusalem on the other.
        Please research about this,
May God Almighty make all things clear for us.

          May be you are right,but....

6.151 Sahih International Say, "Come, I will recite what your Lord has made sacred to you. that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. If we put forbidden in the above ayah instead of sacred

Allah has made it haram to be good to parents?!
          or using sacred
Allah has made it sacred to be good to parents.

          which makes sense?

isn't it similer for the rest of the commands.

If we say it is sacred to be good to parents or it is sacred to not take life unlawfully it all makes sense and half.

I took Sacred from the dictionery-no idea if it is right though.

show me an ayah where it can't make sense as sacred please Bro.

              well you could be right, but consider;

Haraam -All important /Sacred, can be forbidding or enjoining but important.

Like the example I gave before Do not kill your children (Order forbidding) or Be nice to parents (Order enjoining) and all in the same ayah!

Harram ? Forbidden. 1.Taking of life accept through law.

This word is slightly different as you see.

              Thanks for the feedback.
