i 'm quite confused now... hypno
dua is a call to our lord, when we pray, we call upon our lord =prayer=worship=dua
    is dua a worship?
when dua is worship what is with tawassul? tawassul in the name of the prophet or any prophet? i think it's clear shirk!
but opposite when we ask a friend to pray for us, we as him also for intercession or not? this is not shirk. But when he is died clear we can't ask him again, because he didn't hear us. We can't ask the dead to help but we can ask the living?
I read this following article and i'm not agree with tawassul - how sheiks can say that go to the grave of the prophet and ask Allah for salvation with help of him is normal?? how they can say you must turn to the grave and pray- can the one in the grave hear you? and even he hear you, what ever he can do?? nothing. he is died. game over. he's time chalas, finished...

?They have taken as lords beside God their Rabbis and their Monks and the Messiah son of Mary, when they were bidden to worship only One God. There is no God save Him. Be He Glorified from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)!?

nobody think that Rabbis or Monks are Gods- but people take them as mittler because they PRAY TO THEM or THEY TAKE THEM AS RABB?
when the first, so, then is the shirk in worship true?!
when the second. then it is not the prayer but the THINKING THAT THEY CAN HELP , i.e. that they are SERVANTS from their monks and rabbits. What is a servant? a servant has submission to HIS LORD. he know, without him he is NOTHING.

i see also, that always, when we read in the quran about prayer (DUAS) , we call upon the LORD not like the muschrik they make to Gods.. is here the clue? and the big difference? or what Kaio say, from S.O.L. alladhi la ilaha he is not like a GOD (from your gods what you worship) HE IS YOUR LORD?

Say "Shall we call upon other than God what cannot benefit us or harm us, and we turn back on our heels after (ALLAH)God Has guided us?" This is like the one whom the devils have managed to mislead on earth, he is confused, having friends who call him to the guidance "Come to us!" Say "The guidance is(ALLAHS) God's guidance, and we have been ordered to surrender to the Lord of the worlds." (671)

You called on help from your Lord and He answered you "I will provide you with one thousand Angels as defenders." (89)

And Noah called on his Lord, and he said "My Lord, my son is from my family, and your promise is the truth, and you are the Wisest of all Judges." (1145)

He said "My Lord, my bones have gone frail, and my hair has turned white, and I have never been mischievous in calling to You my Lord." (194)

And Job when he called his Lord "I have been inflicted with harm, and you are the Most Merciful!" (2183)

And Zachariah when he called out to his Lord "My Lord, do not leave me without an heir, and You are the best inheritor." So We responded to him, and We granted him John, and We cured his wife. They used to hasten to do good, and they would call to Us in joy and in fear. And to Us they were reverent. (2189,90)

He said "He has wronged you by asking to combine your sheep with his. And most who combine their properties take advantage of one another, except those who believe and do good works, and these are so few." And David guessed that We had tested him, so he implored his Lord for forgiveness, and fell down kneeling, and repented. (3824)

And when the human being is afflicted with adversity, he implores his Lord, sincerely devoted to Him. But then, when He grants him a blessing from Him, he forgets his previous imploring, and sets up equals with(ALLAH) God, in order to mislead others from His path. Say "Enjoy your disbelief for a while; for you are of the dwellers of the Fire." (398 )

    Allah says from himself

And He is the One who is a god in the heaven and a god on earth. And He is the Wise, the Knowledgeable. (4384)
Your god is Allah; whom there is no god but He. His knowledge encompasses all things. (209
this statement for those who worship many gods in the heaven and in the earth

And Allah said "Do not take-up two gods, there is only One god, so it is Me that you shall reverence." (1651)

i'm really still confused about the shirk , it was clear but i think i read to much...
    please anybody can help me?thanks

Dua as what the religious people believe it to be or what it really is?
For the first, partially. For the latter, no, not related.

I see dua as the ultimate form or worship and its also proof of faith. As far as what the Quran says about Christian monks and Rabbis that depends on who are being refered as they are righteous and unrighteous ones. I think when the Quran is atlking about those who take their priest and saints its talking about at the expense of the scriptures. For a long time the Church used to ban the bible to be in public and even insisted it must be read in Latin.

As far as shirk, I think the shirk the Quran is talking about is something else. I have done some research on shirk

          Salam Bigmo
i know, i was speak with you in the other thread! ;D
          look i have a problem
it seems there are two theories

          1. monotheism as first = the Polytheism is a distorted form of monotheism = possibility for a 'first god over the other gods'
          2. Polytheism as first= the Monotheism ist like anything completly new as Revolution (like in your Video introduction in the AT)

What i understand, when Wahabi says, there is shirk in worship, they believe the first, i.e. monotheism was first and the polytheism can be a little bit monotheistic ( D i didn't think so) with a 'first God=ALLAH)
that is the claim from them the pagans from Mecca know ALlah. (what we see in the Quran)
what you say is (that the Polotheism was first and) the monotheism is something else, i acknowledge this and think it's quite logic.
It comes together with the message of the quran. Just then i don't understand
WHY THE PAGAN SEEMS TO KNOW ALLAH?
so maybe because Allah , this word means really 'not a God' , but that our Rabb, the al Rahman want say, I AM NOT A GOD LIKE YOUR GODS, I.E. BESIDE THEM. I AM THE REAL CREATOR IN THE HEAVENS AND ON THE EARTH.

one other point you understand that they take their monks as God , because they following them in their false interpretations, i.e the rabbis hide the bible maybe, but the monks? also? And so the sunnis take also their scholar as God for the fact, that they put the word of the prophet over the word of Allah?

I see dua as the ultimate form or worship and its also proof of faith.

o.k but how to make dua for a dead science or prophet is not against of ALLAH? is this not clear against of monotheism?
i can pray 1000 years to prophets or dead scholar or or, it's for nothing. how this is not shirk?? or it's only useless??
and how sheiks can say it's a valid form of worship?? o nope (i hope you understand my bad English, sorry)
          Salam
