    IMHO, there are two main barriers in understanding of Quran.

    1. A linguistic barrier, most do not understand the language of Quran, native speakers and non-speakers are alike.
    2. A conceptual barrier. What is this barrier? Unfamiliarity with the core message of Quran.

    What is the core message of Quran?

    The core message of the Quran is meaning of word Allah, as ?One who is not a deity for worship?.

        May be this might reflect in better way that might be what is on the back of your mind;

        Allah the Exalted is not like of the deities people worship.

          All deities are created. All created for worship. So is deity of Allah. Is it not obvious brother.

            The single most used word in the Quran is allah. Certainly, a misconception of that word will provide a misundestanding of the whole book. My question is why do humans engage in what appears to be this need of adoration? Is such need similar to other creations?

                    What the hell are you trying to say seriously? Who is that who can't be anyone but bkanwar2? Actually just explain everything from the beginning if you want us to understand, if not ok but that's really confusing

                      Self imposed blindness is absolute blindness.

                      See the contradiction in the two quotes.

                        That has nothing to do with what I asked, and there is definitely no contradiction there.

                          Some people seem as if they are just escaped from an asylum. Allah the Exalted may take care.

                                Allah as a term is meaningless since God has no name. It is something we humans need to refer to God but God has no name. Its the characters of God that matters and what He wants from us. This emphaisis on the term Allah is meaningless.

                                Nobosy can miss the core message of the Quran. Its right in front of you.

                                  Brother Mazhar, my objective is neither to get involved in vain arguments, nor to force any body to change their beliefs. I am only in search of truth based upon facts, reason and logic.

                                  Why do you feel there is a contradiction in my statements. Have not us, Muslims created a deity out of Quranic text of which was written and started to pronounce as for easy of both writting and speaking. As one would get sick and tired of sying whole sentence again and again. However, we created a conceptual deity out of and started to worship by number of rituals. If I am contradicting myself? Then please tell me, what all 5 pillars of Islam are for? are these not meant to worship this conceptual/imaginary deity of ?
