    Peace Jafar.

I said my last post in that topic. I have opened this new topic to answer your question.
QUOTEWhere does it say in the Quran that it's the Word Of God? (Kalamullah)
    Show me if you're truthful!

Here are some of the verses that say/confirm it is the word of GOD
    2213, 2285, 33, 34, 398, 4163, 64, 6114, 6115, 6157, 73, 76, 752, 212, 2110, 2127, 2358, 2784, 2946. 2947, 3339,

    373, 4O83, 4141, 4144, 5417, 5677-80, 7352, 7354...

Also GOD put the instinct in humans to recognise right from wrong. His word gives them the guidance to use that instinct wisely.
    Peace.

You can't use the Qur'an to prove that the Qur'an is the word of God. That's circular logic.

The Qur'an is the word of God because the Qur'an says so is not proof of anything.

In the Bible it says that Jesus rose from the dead and died for our sins. Does that mean I should just believe the Bible?

        Peace Faithful Jinn.

        You are missing the point.

This thread is not " proving the Qoran is the word of GOD"

This thread was opened to answer a specific question; " Where in Qoran does it say that it is the word of GOD?"

Calm down, no one is trying to prove anything here. Read the post again!

Hope this clarifies it for you.

        Peace.

My mistake seems I jumped the gun! Silly me.

I love to argue with you too much. Your name 'good logic' is just too inviting for a debate.

Yes indeed he has... by following his own 'conscience'....
Although finding is one thing.. applying it on every day life.. is a totally different matter...

                  Peace Jafar.

Discuss these verses to start with
                  6;114
Shall I seek other than God as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed? Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt.

                  6115

The word of your Lord is complete, in truth and justice. Nothing shall abrogate His words. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient.

                  Peace.

                    salaam

the bismillah at beginning of each sourate is already a response.
"In name of GOD..." means that Rassool is a messenger who reads a message from his sender, GOD.

                    Peace

Interesting list but is it not self-referential that a book, any book talks about itself? So all this list does is confirm what the Quran says, nothing else as far as I can see

                                  Salamun Alaikum.

Pardon my jumping in, but I didn't follow the logic how "Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim" implies that the following text is from Allah. If I write up something starting with "Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim" will it be from Allah? Forget me... the letter that King Solomon wrote to Queen Sheba also started with "Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim" - who wrote that letter? Allah or King Solomon? ???

Per my humble observation, it is indeed quite challanging to establish that the Qur'an is direct words of Allah based on Quranic evidence. What convinces me is the verses referring to Allah in first person singular, like

240 O! Children of Israel - remember My blessings that I bestowed upon you, and fulfill My covenant - I?ll fulfill your covenant, and I am the One you should be terrified of.

                                  ...

2152 So remember Me, I will remember you; and appreciate Me and do not repress (faith).

                                  ...

2186 And when My slaves ask you about Me, then indeed I am near. I respond to invitations of the supplicant when he calls Me, So let them respond to Me and let them have faith in Me so that they may be guided aright.

(My personal translation, cross checking is recommended.)

Based on these statements I am still convinced that the Qur'an is supposed to be direct Words of Allah, not the words of the messenger inspired by Allah/ messenger acting in spirit of Allah (as brother MoF has put it). But I am afraid, I still do not have sufficiently convincing argument to totally rule-out the second possibility. Either way it is sufficient for me to take it as my guide.

May Allah guide us all to the straight route.

                                  Regards,
                                  Arman

Its great that you have added the verses here bro. Your hard work is praiseworthy )

I wish fact checking was not seen as devil's tool in some parts of the world. Some people are having trouble understanding what noshirk has written here. So here is the proof from dictionary that he is correct.

                                        Huruf,

Good that you find something which also gives light to what many people seem to have started a campaign against me for.

I actually periodically find that other people make similar discoveries as me with traditional methods and lexicons when they can see through the distortion.

                                        Salaam

                                          Salam All,

And it is not for any human being that ALLAH should speak to him except by revelation or from behind a partition or that He sends a messenger to reveal, by His permission, what He wills. Indeed, He is Most High and Wise.

So out of the 3 ways of revelation that the Quran was send down to the Prophet Muhammad were 1) Revelation - send down by Jibril and 2) by sending a Messenger Mikaal.

Prophet Musa received from behind a partition.

                                          Peace
