A creature that the disbelievers will visit

Hello I tried searching for this with many different keyword combinations but could not find anything.
Anyways, I recall an excerpt from the Quran that said a creature will rise from the sea and disbelievers will send a party/representative to visit or something of that sort. Does anyone recall or recognize what I'm talking about?

I can't recall reading anything of the sort in the quran. Maybe it's confusion with another source? Sounds awesome though.

thanks for the contributions, I specifically remember something about a representative of disbelievers from around the globe or from a representative from all the groups of disbelievers visiting this creature, does anyone recall any verse that speaks something similar to that?

you're assuming the 'computer creature' translation is completely correct and that there can be no mistake about it at all. And the verses you've listed aren't exactly dealing with a change in translation to prove/show a point.

To you it makes better sense because it goes with everything else in Khalifa's mission statement. Taken separately it won't make much sense at all. Taken without brackets it'll be more or less the same as a usual translation. If anyone tries to prove or show a point in a serious and/or lighthearted way against 19 centric views et al, we'll have verses talking about disbelievers and their wickedness thrust upon them. This is definitely something that doesn't require that treatment and I don't need to show a better translation to say that.

I was giving a different translation. It is up to individuals to check/analyse/...I am the first to accept everyone is entitled to choose what to accept.
There are replies that require proof... mine was another point of view.Your response was harsh.

It's a simple thing really Verses about disbelievers and their wickedness used in response to someone when there is no need for such.
Given the above, calling my bland response as harsh...is bad logic. Then again, Edip leads by example.

Is Bender questioning that the Quran isn't authored by God?Off topic? Is that what we're going with? ) It's on topic with questioning the reasons for your verse usage. I'd say those verses you pasted in response to Bender's post is what is off topic if anything. Neither am I saying that you are accusing someone of being a disbeliever because that would be black and white, wouldn't it.

Thank you very much good logic for the warm regard and the friendliness. I regard all forum members as my extended family. Of course, I've never really met or talked to most of my extended family and they could be strangers for all I know but we don't need to bring that up.

Rashad Khalifa made fool of himself. Many others are following his footprints.
Rashad Khalifa first translated the word as "creature" and as "made of earthly material" and then said this is computer.
The Root of is " ". The basic concept infolded in the Root is gentle, soft, noiseless movement, walking, creeping. Therefore translating this word as "creature" is incorrect since in addition to living beings it also conveys the perception of a created thing.
Creature
(1) living being any living person or animal
(2) created thing somebody or something that has been created.i s exclusively employed for all living organisms which are distinct by moving faculty as against static life, like plants. It is never and cannot be used, etymologically or metaphorically, to describe a non living thing like computer.

I've always like the word dabba. It sounds satisfying when said. But Mazhar just killed my hopes of it having anything to do with anything else. I still think that it could refer to a living, intelligent and independent AI. We will get there one day, just watch. I'll wait.
