"Now there was a famine in the land. So Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land. When he was about to enter Egypt, he said to Sar'ai his wife, 'I know that you are a woman beautiful to behold; and when the Egyptians see you, they will say, "This is his wife"; then they will kill me, but they will let you live. Say you are my sister, that it may go well with me because of you, and that my life may be spared on your account.' When Abram entered Egypt the Egyptians saw that the woman was very beautiful. And the Quran and Bible tells us that it was a revelation from God to slaughter his son Isaac. Moses also was astonished with what Al Khidr did, but he was told that it was all revelations from God. Moses also ordered his people to take their lives when they worshiped the calf. That also was a revelation from God. Prophets have access to God in ways we don't. Since God created life He can take them also.
