Keep the oath? (1691-94 vs 662)

      Thank you.

In the first case it says don't make oaths as a deception and in the other it says it is oblgatory to break them in certain situations, where is the contradiction?

      hmm

        Peace Denis Sadykov.

I understand it to mean( Fulfill your covenant with GOD. Keep the oath you made. A believer has made GOD a guarantor, therefore he/she must fulfill his/her oath)

I understand it to mean( Do not abuse your oath. set a good example)

[662) I understand it to mean(God has decreed for you laws concerning your oath. God is your Lord...)

I do not see a contradiction. God is not saying break your oath?

        Peace.

            Peace Denis Sadykov.

I do not know any Russian translations. See if others can help.

English translations try this site, or 19.org or Yusuf Ali or Rashad Khalifa or many more . Google "Qoran translations"and compare for yourself.

            Hope this helps.

            Peace.

              Peace

              (443)

"Physical cleanliness contributes to moral purity...or are ill, or coming from the privy..." (translation Shabbir Ahmed).

"Nor if you have had intercourse...or you had sexual contact with the women..." (translation Edip-Layth)

Shabbir Ahmed's why there is no word about a sexual relationship with a woman? Other interpreters say about sex.

              Thank you...

The expression "children of Israel" (247) is meant all the children of Israel, or a limited number of people? )
