Writing,engraving on rocks,quran and hadiths?

Dear Fellows,
People and Rulers of Egypt and some other places on this world,use to write and draw figures,which helps us now to know about their beliefs,food,clothes,working,etc.etc.This happened much before the advent of Islam.God and profits and public all knew this method of preservation for a long long time to come,for the people who have to come centuries after them.
So when Islam came to this world,why did God not tell our Prophet to preserve teachings on rocks? Did they not knew that some day 1400 years later people will find helplessness to know the teachings of God and Prophet,and openly fight with each other in the name of beliefs,or religions.Forget God and Prophet,it was the duty of general public and scholars and others to preserve these teachings.How did the people of Egypt knew it but not others,like muslims christians and jews etc.See the Islamic-Awareness site you will find lot of Arabic writings on rocks of preislamic era,so arabs too knew it,even before islam and after islams,see pictures of these writing for yourself.Was not this the biggest mistake early islamists made.thanks Arif brickwall brickwall brickwall -
I would say that there is too much material to engrave. and hoist all that material to engrave upon.
Writing would be easier... even though the writing might not last long.
The Quran was revealed in Speech form, and with a melody. God made it easy to memorize the Quran.
God promised to preserve the Quran 159 and against falsehood entering it 4142. -

thanks for your reply,for the time being just forget about quran I will takeup this later,now let us consider hadith,people say it is not preserved,I agree,for the sake of argument,we may say that when our prophet walked on this earth,there were no sound recording instruments as we have them now,so what ever our prophet said we cannot hear it to-day,also we had no video cameras to we cannot see and hear what prophet did.So people recorded His sayings on perchments,but now we dont have any of those original writings about sayings of Him,we even do not have any original writings coming from Bukhari or Muslims pen,it cannot be proved whether they really ever wrote any book on hadiths.
now my point is ,why the people who walked along prophet did not write some of Him important saying on rocks,or made some figures,as the Egyptians did much before islam.Those who deny islam say that there is no mention of prophets name anywhere,it comes up only about more than 100 years after His death.See islamic awareness site who have a photo of name Mohammad with certified date,this again is about a century after His death.There are many arabic writings found in saudi arabia on big rock which are preislamic,see the same site,then why did not any of prophets lover,friend companion,die hard supporter ever wrote Prophets name on rocks.Did no body in Mecca knew about Egyptians writing on rocks,which are well preserved till to-day,we now can say with certainity that once somany years back there was a queen in Egypt named Cleopatra.This Egyptian I dea was not like an Intels proccessor,but was just common sense,so why was this common sense mot prevailing in saudi arabia or mecca? brickwall brickwall brickwall -
I could be wrong, but I don't think they cared about it. I think they focused on the Qur'an, because that is what the Prophet taught. He solved issues using Qur'an, that was his mission. So they memorized the Qur'an and with that everything that entailed the Prophet. The best way to not create an idol is not to start a fan club, that is what those hadith have done.

It is a surprise to see many people talking about "those people", "those writings", those records", "those.....", "those.....", etc. Why those? We have to think about us. We are not going answer for them or their writings.
We have to answer about ourselves and about what we have been given, whatever form we have now, we are accountable for that, not what those..... have. brickwall .
