    Assalam alaikum,
In Verse 4 of chapter 68, Surat Qalam of the Holy Qur'an (684), Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says--"Surely, you are upon a tremendous character (Khuluq Azeem)". When A'isha, the wife of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah be pleased with her, was asked about the character of the Messenger of God, she answered, "His character was the Qur'an". She said that because he was unique in character, and that unique character had to bring together all noble character traits. God described that character as being "Tremendous" just as He described the Qur'an in His words, "The tremendous Qur'an"(1587). So, the Qur'an is his character, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam.

If a person in the community of the Messenger who has not met the Messenger of God desires to see him, let him look upon the Qur'an. When he looks upon it, there is no difference between looking upon it and looking upon God's Messenger. It is as if the Qur'an takes the configuration of a corporeal form which is named Muhammad Ibn Abdullahi Ibn Abd al-Muttalib.

The Qur'an is Allah's speech and His attribute, so Muhammad in his entirety is the attribute of God, "So he who obeys the Messenger, has obeyed God"(480), since "He does not speak out of caprice"(533), for he is the mouth-piece of God, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam.

You have attained a great blessing from your Lord; you are not crazy.

You have attained a recompense that is well deserved.

You are blessed with a great moral character.

You will see, and they will see.

      Which of you are condemned.

Who cares what Aisha said for Heaven's sake???
Or anybody else for that matter... ???

        Peace Abu Fauzi.

Here is another fact. Muhammed is dead, are we going to turn back on our heel and abandon the Qoran. Here is what it says

        5526 Everyone on earth perishes.?

5527 Only the presence of your Lord lasts. Possessor of Majesty and Honour.?

5528 Imploring HIM is everyone in the heavens and the earth. Everyday HE is in full control.?

5529 We will call you to account O humans.?

5657 We have created you, if only you could believe!?

5660 We have predetermined death for you. Nothing can stop Us. ( from carrying it out!)

5661 We substitute new generations in your place, and establish what you do not know!?

586 The day will come when GOD will resurrect them all, then inform them of everything they had done. GOD has recorded everything while they have forgotten it. GOD witnesses all things.?

What you do is what matters. God Alone matters because He is always alive, always in control. We have His Qoran preserved That is what matters.

642 HE is the ONE who created you, then among you there are disbelievers and there are believers. GOD is seer of everything you do.?

What they said about Muhammed or what he did are all gone.

        Peace.

          Salaam to you all,
While commenting on the above topic, Godsubmitter said, "who cares what A'isha said for Heaven's sake?..or anybody else for that matter.."

Mr. Godsubmitter, where are your manners? A'isha is your mother!...because the Holy Qur'an teaches us that she and all the wives of the Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, are 'Ummul-Mumineen'--Mothers of all Believers, and I like to believe that you are one of the believers, hence she is your mother, and deserves some of your respect. So, for you to use some kind of gutter Language on her is disrespectful.

On everything, a Muslim is expected to observe good etiquette...be it in spoken language, writing, matters of religion, doctrine or comportment towards any being whatsoever--that is good adab.

          Best Regards.

            Shalom Aleikhem,

I think you misunderstood Godsubmitter. The point he was trying to make is based on the basic fundamental principle, that there is no god except The God. Based on that principle, what Godsubmitter was trying to say, I believe, is that given that God said something, you need not any other being/entity as a backup/partner. If God says something, then no one else in the universe, nothing including things you see and you dont see , can change that. Having that in mind, it is redundant to resort to other authorities besides God. (in the context of your post atleast)

Now, I am not done. )

I did point out this dishonest/ignorant/potentially dangerous cherry picking system in another thread of yours. Let me do it here too. You used the phrase "He does not speak out of caprice" to transform "Muhammad" the man into "mouth-piece" of God. I object and refuse to accept the very premise of your assertion. Let us consider the ayaat you quoted

For the following argument, I will ignore who "he" is in the following excerpt

531 And as the star fell away.
532 Your friend was not astray, nor was he deceived.
533 Nor does he speak from personal desire.
534 It is a divine inspiration
535 He has been taught by the One mighty in power.

            533

            = it
            = a revelation / a divine inspiration

Once again, we see that in context, the Author (God) is talking about the revelation to be not from that individual's personal desire. Putting it all together with context

"Your friend was not astray, nor was he deceived. Nor does he speak from personal desire. It is a divine inspiration. He has been taught by the One mighty in power."

So please, stop pulling verses out of context to justify your inclination towards hearsay(traditional hadiths). The verse clearly mentions "it". Please do not try to rip it out of context and ignore "it" and try to make it point towards external materials, in which case the term " " would have been used. There is a crucial difference between "it" and "that". To be more precise, to back up your assertion, you have to make it say "those", "that" will not suffice.

Therefore, in conclusion, it was wrong of you to cherry pick the ayaat out of context.

            Peace
            ----------- Student of Allah

Thank you @Student of Allah for somehow clarifying my point...

Listen @Abu Fauzi! Aysha is not my mother, God forbid! It seems you want to make the same mistake as Xtians did, promoting mother of Jesus, Mary, into mother of "God" hahaha, or "little mother of all xtians", "blessed among the women"etc... God created us all, and each of us has his own mother! What a dreadful way to speak of petty human filial relations in light of the Qur'an, not to mention unhealthy aedipal confusion!

GOD will say, "O Jesus, son of Mary, did you say to the people, Make me and my mother idols beside GOD?" He will say, "Be You glorified. I could not utter what was not right. Had I said it, You already would have known it. You know my thoughts, and I do not know Your thoughts. You know all the secrets.

Those among you who estrange their wives (by declaring them as forbidden in sex) as their mothers know full well that they are not their mothers. Their mothers are the women who gave birth to them. Indeed, they are committing a blasphemy and a falsehood. GOD is Pardoner, Forgiver.

And there what you mentioned, it says

The prophet is closer to the believers than they are to each other, and his wives are like mothers to them. The relatives ought to take care of one another in accordance with GOD's scripture. Thus, the believers shall take care of their relatives who immigrate to them, provided they have taken care of their own families first. These are commandments of this scripture.

Besides, why don't you concentrate on the Qur'anic aya (cited in somewhat wrong translation) that you proposed to study, instead? I still seem not to get what is your thread all about. ???

My benevolent advice to you is to take quite seriously the post of @Student of Allah!

And please, do stick to the authorized translation of the Qur'an by Dr Rashad Khalifa PhD, which you can find on this site
