Does it involve RIBA or some kind of interest, forbidden by Allah in the Qur'an?

Any kind of money speculation is actually a gamble, isn't it? In essence, the currency trade is a fraud.

Besides, if any person, no matter how untalented or dumb, can make some money with Forex, then there must be something wrong with that "business"! It's probably a hoax, no?

You shall not take each others' money illicitly, nor shall you bribe the officials to deprive others of some of their rights illicitly, while you know.

And for practicing usury, which was forbidden, and for consuming the people's money illicitly. We have prepared for the disbelievers among them painful retribution.

Some of those before you were stronger than you, and possessed more money and children. They became preoccupied with their material possessions. Similarly, you have become preoccupied with your material possessions, just like those before you have become preoccupied. You have become totally heedless, just as they were heedless. Such are the people who nullify their works, both in this world and in the Hereafter; they are the losers.

It is not your money or your children that bring you closer to us. Only those who believe and lead a righteous life will receive the reward for their works, multiplied manifold. In the abode of Paradise they will live in perfect peace.

This worldly life is no more than play and vanity. But if you believe and lead a righteous life, He will reward you, without asking you for any money.

A portion of their money was set aside for the beggar and the needy.

So I hope that each "day of your harvest" (when you receive your "earnings&quot you do give the proscribed 2.5% zakat!

I also hope that you did not come to this Forum to catch new collaborators for your Forex network! )

btw I asked this question to other islamic forums as well, where is it written in quraan to give zakaat 2.5% of earnings?

Thank you for your answer and excuse me for my misunderstanding if that is an honest business and a good job proposal. I always respect the professional experience.

If you have spare time, it might be worthwhile if you could describe what the mere job consists of, in a nutshell. Thank you.

          Shalom Aleikhem,

Ofcourse its not from the book. Otherwise one should be able to produce the ayaats regarding that.

378 And from among them is a group who twist their tongues with the Book so that you may think it is from the Book, while it is not from the Book, and they say it is from God while it is not from God, and they say about God lies while they know.

That is not from the book, and many people do practice other traditions not found in the book while at the same time claiming to follow only Qur'an. If you ask me, I find it hypocritical and intellectually dishonest. I just hope God guides us all.

          Peace

I suppose the Qur'an does not need to mention every detail of pre-established things that came intact from Abraham as pure religious practices.
Anyway, there is some information about it as well
            http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9604592.msg311937#msg311937

"The word Zakat probably derives from Zedakah. Today Zedakah in Hebrew means Charity, but during the Second Temple times it was a tax. There were several taxes, the 2% or 2.5% tax was called Terumah"
            Wikipedia
"Based in part on the measures described by the prophet Ezekiel, Jewish Law set the minimum amounts of the "great offering" at 1/60 of the finished produce for a poor person, 1/50 for the average person, and 1/40 for the generous. The "tithe offering" (terumat maaser) was always 10% of the "first tithe" (maaser rishon)."
            Note 1/40 = 2.5%

As everything else, even this came to us via Jews whom Allah chose to initiate the propagation of His message.

yeah I know this is not from the book, coz no ISLAMIC sect was able to bring this ayat from QURAAN, but as the brother pointed me to give 2.5% of my earnings, I thought he talking about some QURANIC verse.

thankyou hijabi warrior, u are brilliant as always....tc

I am muslim so I will stick with QURAAN..........and as far as I know torah, injeel and bible are manipulated so I wont take any thing from it I guess.

when ALLAH can speak like 50 times about zakaat in QURAAN, why cant HE speak just ONCE for the percentage for zakaat?

Sorry, but I seem to remember that you wrote, in some of your initial posts, that you were not kicked out of your house, but that you left because you did not want to bow to humans and idols as your folk did, and you wanted to follow Allah Alone Path, which I admired in you very much!
Now, to be kicked out is quite a different thing...

Because He doesn't speak about the 2 4 4 3 4 raka of the Salat or the Contact prayer either. He only corrected in the Qur'an the wrong wudu people did, and made it simple 4 steps. Nevertheless, the so-called Muslims today still do wrong wudu, rinsing the nose and ears, and washing between the toes hahaha, not to mention the wrong Athan (Ezan) or Shahada where they mention the name of one of the Prophets together with the name of the Almighty Allah in the same sentence !!!

                            Shalom Aleikhem,

The way I see it, it is similar to the "number of rakat" thing. Where God did not put a number, some are inclined to play God and put a number there. Traditional Muslims do it in the name of "hadith of Muhammad", and "some" who claim to follow Qur'an alone also do this exact same thing to make sense of whatever non-quranic teachings they subscribe to.

I mean, you have to be mad to reject "traditions of Muhammad" and at the same time pass on your non-Qur'anic ideas in the name of "tradition of Abraham" !!!

I hope God guides us all.

I did not understand the need of these details. And you said, you wanna help people on this forum, then it reduces to few people on this forum, now again reduces to just 5 people?

coz this field is not for every one...and I dont even want to give it away to every one.
