The Qur'aan And Its Ever Unsolved Mystery: What is > A-L-M and A-L-R and A-L-M-R

Peace al-amiyr.
I trust in God Alone. Show me a single evidence of what you are claiming I did?
I believe whatever needs to be said God has said it in his book
Say, "If the ocean were ink for the words of my Lord, the ocean would run out, before the words of my Lord run out, even if we double the ink supply."
There is nothing hidden.
As for scared, nothing can harm or benefit me , only what my Lord wills for me.
As for predictions , I do not predict anything, however I know for sure that we are both going to meet our creator on the day of judgement. He will let us who is fabricating lies ?
Again peace to you

Peace be upon you,
Which claims made by Al-amiyr cause so much confrontation? I cannot understand how one man can cause so much conflict in one place. Mind explaining what is so blasphemous with these ideas of the meaning of "A.L.M"?
Can al-amiyr not have his opinion of what they mean? You choose to believe it if it seems logical and does not go against the teachings of the Quran. Otherwise you say you do not agree without insult, explaining why.
May God forgive our sins.

Peace Man of Faith.
Please read the posts and see for yourself who has made insults?
Please show us the insults that have been made and by who?
I may be wrong?
Peace.

Peace good logic,
I saw that you claimed that al-amiyr was boasting and agreed with mirjamur on his post. Al-amiyr responded aggressively to this claim, for example, by calling you and others hypocrites among other things.
May God help us solve this.

- The Hypocrites are afraid lest a Sura should be sent down about them, showing them what is (really passing) in their hearts. Say "Mock ye! But verily Allah will bring to light all that ye fear (should be revealed).

Peace Farida.
You have made your choice, that is fine. But Please do not judge anyone .
God is the only judge.
I forgive you.
Please only Trust in God Alone.

4 142. The Hypocrites - they think they are over-reaching Allah, but He will over- reach them When they stand up to prayer, they stand without earnestness, to be seen of men, but little do they hold Allah in remembrance;

.Firstly you must remember that the Qur'aan is a book that has been revealed in The Arabic Language and in particular the dialect of The tribe of Quraysh.
Amiyr,
Is the Quran given in the dialect of the Tribe Quraish? It is a weird statement by you; wherefrom you got this wild imagination? Allah has said He has sent down the Quran in Arabic so that later generations shall not dispute about the origin of the scripture. All you have to do before confirming it is from Allah, is to juxtapose with your conscience and see if the Book is in conformity with it. If it is not then you might find in the reading lots of discrepancies. If your good senses play such important role in understanding the Quran, then this God endowed sense is above all human languages that speaks of one truth. Please do not play with the Arabic language which is of no use at all if your need is to comprehend clearly the guidance of Allah for your benefits in both the worlds.
Salam, drfazl

Every scholar of The Qur'aan knows it. It also came in six other modes of recitation. Today there are twenty eight languages calling themselves Arabic and it has little to do with Qur'aanic Arabic. Check this yourself. If you find anything that contradict what I have said let me know inshaa allaah.

There can never be a scholar in Quran! Speak of Quran alone and do not talk anything else other than Quran; your post here has no relevance to Quran. Does Quran say anything concerning what you had written? Who is a scholar in Quran as per Quran? Kindly say the Ayat.

Every scholar of The Qur'aan knows it.
If you find anything that contradict what I have said let me know inshaa allaah.I don't think that your statement is correct at all. There are numerous scholars who beg to differ.
"Some scholars have taken a second look at the Koran and, like ?Christoph Luxenberg? in his book ?Die Syro-Aramaische Lesart des Koran?, have come up with a different approach, reading the Koran in Arabic and Aramaic side-by-side. He found that the original language was not always pure Arabic, but a dialect from Syria, Syro-Aramaic, as Arabic was not a written language until some two centuries later. The verbal spreading of spiritual texts, recitation, from Christians and Jews happened in a mix of languages, which was in turn translated into Arabic for the Bedouins of the Arabic peninsula. The first time the texts adapted for the Bedouins were written down was in an Arab-Aramaic language."But I don't think this should be a battle of scholars and a tit-for-tat "my scholar is better than your scholar". Why don't you show us the words which are typical or exclusive for the dialect of the Quraish and prove it yourself?
The modes of recitation do not alter the written language at all. The elongated script of the early Hijazi allowed for different intonations and is the basis for the different forms. -

I am combining it all in the Entering the Hidden book thread which gives the origin of the words and their meanings.

Great, so why don't you make a statement and provide the rationale behind it immediately?
You have, I don't how many, open and unfinished threads on this forum alone, where you constantly promise you WILL do that, you WILL explain that - but never do.
And just to provide some constructive criticism why not explain the contentious issues first and only then go into details, instead of the other way around?

The exchanges between StopS and al-miyr is like ego and alter ego talking. I was watching the movie "lord of the rings" and thinking about the character gollum.....
