Seek and serve truth alone and all other things will arise naturally.
Does it get any simpler than that?
It's a simple logical process that can be applied to everything in life.
"Is it good to do X" => Look up facts => X = good? Do it. X= bad? Don't do it.Provided one understands what 'good' is and its limits or no limit.
To say I only follow this, and I reject that, is it enought for one's own self & own family, for the whole community, for the whole nation or for the whole of humanity+?peace

What i meant is there's no way to be 100% sure of some things, and we just follow it according to our understanding - which might be wrong. If two people have two different understanding of the same thing, then one of them is wrong. We just hope we have the right understanding.

What is sure and right is with Allah and it is for Him to judge. What we do while living this life is this whatever you do you shall consult among yourself and then once you decide on the line your action, put your trust wholesomely on Allah. Allah loves those who put their trust on Him and Him alone - Al Imran, Recitation 159.

In one sentence it says anything can be forgiven, then it says something is excluded, then another thing is always forbidden, so I can never be sure. That's why I asked what you think about the way you live and what happens to you later, to take a practical approach and believe when it says that judgement will be merciful.

Except if a monarch tells me I will be judged in 10 years and then I get executed because I built my house not with a sloped roof but a flat one, I will be pretty cheesed off. So telling me I can do what I want and then torturing me if I do exactly that is hardly fair and adequate.

Yes, but He also tell us to be patient and refrain from bad language unless we are exposed to gross injustice.
Stops sure can be provocating and come about frank about his obvious atheist mind, but meet this with rage will not change him.
He must be in some ways be curious and uncertain about his stance as atheist, or why else is he here? Some people are not outright blessed with certainty.
Unless he sees the mocking of believers as mere amusement. What is your say in this yourself, Stops?

I see his aim being to divert believers from the right path, if he can, and I will not be complacent about such evil. I do see your peaceful intent but what I was doing was in fact to 'tell Satan 'Begone!' Only in Latin ;D

Well, it reminds me of Moses travel companion who told him 'did I not tell you that you could not have any patience with me' after some seemingly evil acts, but which were all to prevent corruption. I.e. killing the son which it was revealed that he was unrighteous and he wanted to spare the shame on his parents.
It was a lesson to Moses and could probably be one for us too.
