    Another good argument.
The devil believe in the existence of God.
Yet that doesn't makes him/her/it a good person isn't it?

That's why, 'believe in the existence of (one or more) God' is irrelevant.

    Salam / Peace

yes, but worshiping(addicted to) false gods and rituals(practices) is relevant. )

Of all religions and sects and communities, the most ignorant of Allah are those claim themselves "Muslims". While the Book says Allah alone knows who a Muslim is among a single nation of human beings, they fell apart into different religious sects, merely naming themselves as belonging to a hither to unknown, uncreated species other than human beings that Allah has never created. Allah says if you are a human being, wanting to be chosen by Him as Muslims, you have got nothing to do with these hell-bound dividers, the species, belonging to religions and sects and communities.

If only they had read the Book, that is in conformity to their conscience, they would not be indulging in such topics and discussions.

one other valid question is, do we need prophets to guide us?
naturally when a community goes down in false beliefs and stick to it, there comes an enlightened soul to warn them, this should be as per natural law of cause and effect and there lies a history/sign which when recorded will be useful to future mankind, which we call the Quran Bible etc.

          Excellent! Agreed.

One has to stop the mental chattering to let the Divinity in...

              Indeed!

I tend to think that ignorance generally is proportional to the amount of demanded conformity in a group... so in this sense, the Islamic sects indeed rank high on the ignorance scale... but many other groups are often no less.

One of the greatest misconceptions of all time is that the quran belongs to any certain group or religion, or vice versa, that any certain religion or grouping is more related to the quran than any other part of humanity. It is with this idea that everything begins to fail and crumble and a blinding misunderstanding of the quran takes form. So, while Islam (the world religion) follows a twisted and sick interpretation of the quran.... the real message and spirit of the quran has no kinship with this Islam, and is hence forgotten and hidden from plain sight. This religion has hijacked a great arabic word and turned it into its own name.... such an formidable deceit and lie.

              Peace

The most despised cursed society, this, Islamic. The less we talk of or even think about these people, would bring more glad tidings from Allah. May Allah bless us all.

Refreshing the topic and may you have some idea too )
I have explained why we should read our book but do not brain wash our children with our understanding and let them do their own search when they reach to age 14-16 and access to this screen.
It is almost one year and only 30 people share the idea here. The reason for such low result is due to religious category of publicizing the concept. Each have their own book or same book but different ideas and then what would happen if we close all those 4200 books and stop teaching them, it is end of religious corporations. Unemployed clergies and scholars which majority of them are living by explaining God's word when God's prophet was not allowed to teach and explain without PAY.

                      Peace Bahman.

The " books" are becoming less and less. anyway How many bookshops are closing or changing into other...

The World Wide Webb ( WWW ) will slowly kill the " books".

By the way W = " " in Arabic its numerical value is 6 .( WWW = 666).The mark of the beast or the awaken er for the masses?

It is interesting how in sura 47 called " Muhammed" God says

... If you turn away, He will substitute other people in your place, and they will not be like you.

God is talking to those who think they own Qoran but have abused and are still abusing Qoran.

Do we need 19 to believe in God?

                          No. We don't.
Quranically speaking, to believe in God is to ponder Quranic texts and study nature and reflect.

                              Peace with you all, sun

".. to believe in God is to ponder Quranic texts and study nature and reflect".
                              Yes, I emphasis this one.
Why do we need books, prophets, ect... Well, I think because human beings need warning and to be reminded because with the time people mix the true message with tradition or cult, or what ever - human being recollect yourself!
To bethink oneself of the logical thinking and to comprehend that we can't go true a wall, means we can't change the nature rules. Not only we are allowed to govern the earth, it's more our dealing with everything what God left us in trust on this earth and to treat that righteous. For me that is responsibility.
As a side note So I am responsible for the hungry, although I give something from my income. But that isn't
real help. Real help would be to don't take anything from the poor, means to not harm their life -physical and
psychological (a.ex. exploitation). The same counts for the nature. For me that means peace. All
mentioned is only an approach that I try to keep with me.

Do we need holy books? I think not everyone needs a holy book to believe in a creator, because this kernel is in us.
Sometimes we need, because we need maybe an approval for that what we think or belief; Uncertainty belongs to the human nature.

To believe in God is a private issue, because it is personal and individual matter between a human being and God.

May God lead us to the right path

Missing this tread for while, God authored several time that Quran is confirming previous scripture , how Quran can do this hence do not have any proof like previous scriptures, the only proof for existence of God and His words is design of superhuman Textual Numerical Interlocking System which can be witnessed and understand by those that have knowledge of INTERLOCK.

I don't think it is a book. A book needs structure yet the Quran does not have structure . Often the topics are mixed and over lapping . The Quran seems to hold to story structure as well. The last thing I can say is that this Quran can never be a book , it is a " Kitab " . A Kitab is not just a book . Now a day Arabic has spoiled our understanding . A Kitab seems to be much more than a book . It is more interactive in a way as if changing . But back to your question if I was to assume do we need Quran to believe in god . I would say no , but we need Quran to be guided in what is better for us . To now what is belief is it the picture or the idea is that belief or could there be some thing else , could belief in Quran mean liberation from preconception . Set your self free . You still think like you are owned by an idea . Let the Quran liberate you my friend .
                                    Peace.

There are 4200 cults including Islam ( Sunni and Shia) and every single one claiming their book is right and is Kitab.
The only book that has proof and represent its divinity according to this era knowledge is its own Miracle which can be witnessed and examined any time any where on this screen is Quran , the context of Quran regardless stories and law and rules which relates to its time and location are completion of previous Krtabs as is claimed. The essence of this Kitab is authored in 262.

The main issue of this concept is to stop brainwashing our children by our understanding which usually is following parent belief blindly. World situation is changed and our children reaching certain age asking about Creation can search on this screen for the truth.

Division and differences in understanding Kitabs has caused many bloodshed and yet do.
Let us read our book and discuss it as these discussions could lead younger generation to right path. Is long term process and may take few decades but worth for future peace if Satan do not influence.
                                      Peace

                                        Peace,

I take kitaab as meaning message or even lore. It is in an abstract sense, ie non-physical, and it is quran that is the real word for book.

An important part of God's book contains an illogical reference to kitaab as physical book since Abraham revealed no book, if one chooses to translate it as such. And there would be several books out there if all instances of kitaab would be translated as physical books. And no books were written in first-person view and which author writing would write about himself in third-person if they were part of it?

And in addition to this God's book refers to a singular ketaab so then what sort of book was that because it is clear in the narration that it is not what you refer to as Quran. The Book refers to ketaab as a Grand Message or Grand Lore when it refers to ketaab. Ahle ketaab is like followers of the Message.

In case you say that Abraham wrote a book then what did he write about?

And if you have witnessed the Torah (teachings) of Moses then you basically know the Message. God's book reveals that Moses was the one who received something physical from God and that was it, and after that it is the Gospel of Jesus which is an abstract reminder and some news for the Believers. The Book is yet another and this time physical reminder and some additional news for the Believers (news = elaboration on the teachings). It was for the first time a fully detailed and comprehensive Message compared to the short revelation given to Moses.

My only logical conclusion that I came to myself is that ketaab cannot mean a physical book but for that sake perhaps abstract book although I would say something else like Lore or similar. I tend to use Message for simplicity.

There are even people who argue that Quran is a recitation and not book but then ketaab must follow the same logic. I say that man's obsession with physical items is playing tricks on people and man is turning it into an idol. It is part of a grand message not confined to some physical book. People do not understand what God means when He says fully detailed because they stare themselves blind at their perceived physical object. And the Message in The Book is fully detailed because it is so very simple that it is laughable to those who claim otherwise and it is repeated over and over and over again in The Book and that is Believe while being good people by upholding or establishing a system of justice and fairness. It is not rocket science.

And even a complete ignorant knower of Arabic could work that out.

You could basically throw your book over your shoulder and remember to be good and not evil and know that God is your only Lord. Of course you miss the good tips and tricks from it so until you remember its helping words by heart you may as well read and read. Be mindful of God and keep your bond with Him always and purify your mind. May the Force (of God) be with you.

                                        God bless you

Do we need books to believe in God?

It's like How we know the "god" withouth books/Scriptures?

                                          Peace
