Another look at Ahmad in 61:6

I have read the other topics on 616 here, but none addresses this issue
... At 616 the Quran has Jesus announce
a messenger who will come after me whose name will be Ahmad.
Ubayy reputedly read
a prophet whose community will be the last community and by whom God will put the seal on the prophets and on the messengers.

I would have upload just the relevant part, but I can't find how to upload pictures, so this is a reference of the whole page of the book)The thing is this this the only part of the Quran for which I cannot accept the standard reading, or at least the standard reading with the standard interpretation. (Although I am trying to think of way in which I could accept it. For me the 'Paraclete' is the Light of Allah, also called the Spirit of God, which is not a created angel! Different terminology creates havoc, doesn't it ...?!?). Here I do not wish to debate whether Ahmad is Muhammad is the Paraclete promised by Jesus.
What are people's thoughts on me accepting only the variant qiraat by Ubai?

Bender, I cannot accept that Muhammad was the Paraclete promised by Jesus (Islamic polemics state that Muhammad was the Paraclete called Ahmad). However I can accept him as a special prophet of God. By accepting the variant qiraat in place of the standard text for 616 the problem disappears. Thanks, Richard

I am not sure what Paraclete means. But 616 says that Ahmed is a messenger not a Paraclete, I think that is very clear from 616.
It even doesn't say he is a nabi (if that is what you meant with prophet).Suppose The Quran said Ahmed is the Paraclete what is then exactly your problem with it. Why you don't accept him as the Paraclete?
Not that I say that Ahmed was the Paraclete (as I am not even sure about the meaning of that word) but I am just curious why you don't accept it.Salaam,
