At first I thought it was a light reflected on the window, but then when I saw it fade under certain clouds and how I could clearly see perspective change when you pointed the camera downward towards the end...I can only conclude that this is in fact either a UFO, Jinn or maybe even an Angel (since it looks like light).

This is my first post here on free-minds. Last summer while on a plane from Amsterdam to Marrakech i notised some sort of light in the sky from where i sat.

Hmm thank you for your responses.
I did not see any airplane below us. The light even disappeared sometimes. So it being an airplane is quite unrealistic by the fact that airplanes do not disappear.

I don't think I have any explanation for it. You know what I find interesting is that we admit that we know so little but think that any knowledge of beings external other to us than what we know, that some may think is inherited from centuries ago and thus deride, that this is out of the question. A type of assumption of course but they will never say it because science has offered no evidence of it. That's like saying dark matter never existed and we should have dismissed any notion of unseen matter because science had no evidence. I'm not saying we believe or assume everything ever believed exists etc but to dismiss the general idea altogether? I think it's because people view certain types of knowledge as part of a stereotypical way of thinking. This is "science" This is "conspiracy or those who believe anything or believe in magic". It's almost group mentality, I think?

Yes I totally agree. It might have a scientific explanation for it, or maybe not. Everything is possible. The verse in the Quran talking about shooting stars i find quite interesting. It kind of shows there is something we cant see, in another dimension perhaps. Regardless of the light in my video is reflection of the sun or not. It is funny how many people in this material world who believe in a "supernatural " being /God, but nothing else with a "supernatural" explanation. peace

I do not know the flight path of the aircraft. I do not know the exact day and time and altitudes and all other data. However, I found a very plausible explanation. Actually, I did not find it.. it was obvious to me as I skipped to the middle of the video due to over-excitement . Now, below is a satellite image where A stands of Amsterdam and B stands for Marrakesh.

Please do not mistake the blue path for a flight path, that is the path for road vehicles. The reason I posted this is to point out that a flight from point A and B will result in you being able to see the ocean. And I would also like to point out that the ocean is not the only body of water, there can be rivers, lakes and ponds etc. The reason I am talking so much about water is because when I skipped to the point where you were seeing that "UFO", I thought I was watching the sun's reflection on a body of water. Thats it. I was expeting that reflection to be blurred by the clouds, and that happened too. So I saw no supernatural or paranormal phenomena there. Below I am giving you a simple way this can happen

In the above image (badly drawn by me ) we see what you observed in the 0146 time of your video. The screenshot below helps you see that you saw just like my image predicted, the reflection of the sun

The gases and particles, or simply put the clouds in the atmosphere between you and the water resulted in the reflected image of the sun being unclear or blurred. In the multiple screenshots of a scene in your video we can see this clearly as clouds come between you and the water. The heavier the cloud, the least you can see of the reflection. In fact, the core of the cloud actually blocks almost 100% of the reflection. Just watch from 0201 to 0346 to see this obvious behavior. In the screenshots below, you will see the reflection being normal, then dimming and in the last screenshot, the sun comes back. However, it is worthwhile to point out that in the middle, the sun was missing. This is when the reflection had to travel through denser and thicker cloud formations.

Now, given that you know that the sun exists, water exists, water can reflect the image of the sun, clouds can partially or fully block rays of sun, why in the world did you get excited about a paranormal explanation? I am feeling a bit strange after going to such lengths in providing an explanation for something which is essentially a case of water reflecting the sun's rays. brickwall rotfl

Please let me know where Allah says that mocking or being condescending to others is ok. Doesn't God state things like we should not ridicule other men or women for they may be better than them? And that, for example, with those who worship many Gods literally, that we should not mock their Gods? If you are saying your post was not intended at mockery, then it really does look that way when you read it with those smileys etc.

I know what you mean. Whatever this is, whatever explanation we want to give it, it is more unusual especially when it glows at the top of the clouds rather than remaining more invisible at that point.

I was not mocking her. I was laughing at my seriousness when by the end I realized that its only a case of reflections of the sun. And I was literally laughing and that ended with a facepalm when I realized that probably I am overdoing it. So may be you should interpret the smileys in a different way.

Only Allah swt knows your true intent and if that is truly the case so be it. In that case, I think you should be aware that when you ask why is someone getting excited over this type of finding when in fact you think it is just reflection of the sun - but you laugh at yourself in that you have to explain it, it can easily seem that you are laughing at the fact that you have to explain it at all, because it is so simple and anyone can get it.
If that is simply a misunderstanding, then I am sure you can see how such a misunderstanding can occur. Feel free to use smileys however you want though, it's not up to me, but I'm just telling you that misunderstandings can occur. And Allah is the best Judge.
