I can't believe I found you all

Salam fellow monotheist's
I have spent many lonely years having the beliefs I have in a world of polytheism and shirk.
I am from London UK and would be very grateful to meet or speak with like minded people. Am currently carrying out extensive research into the story of Moses and understand the signs and geographical locations of the events that took place and are better known as the exodus via the Quran.
I have many many questions and often hoped for a place I can turn to for discussion or answers. This forum seems to be Allah's way of guiding me to my people.
I would love to hear from you all.
Peace

Salam! Welcome!
I felt the same way when I first found out about quranism. I suddenly felt so isolated and alone. While I do somewhat feel like that where I live (egypt), I feel at home at free-minds. Amd you will too in no time!

Salaam all,
Thanks for the lovely messages.
herbman thank you so much I hadn't even thought of it that way but the ayat that says that pharoah's building were levelled to the grounds what got me! Good to see others are on the same page. I may have plenty more questions and will post them for sure so everyone can participate.
My only thing when getting deep into the studies that I feel god has said don't question what you don't understand as that will make you deviate from the path. Then I get disinterested even the questions keep popping in my mind about this.
It's a tough one!

I think all of us have felt alone at some point in regards to our beliefs, I know I have. God did say in the Quran that most people don't believe, and that is the truth. Most people cannot help but setup idols with God, and most don't even know they are doing it. Some have setup money as their idol, others set up their government, or their constitution. Its simply hard for people to trust in God alone, most have a deep need to be told what to believe. I came to true monotheism when I was deployed to Afghanistan, because I was disgusted at the close-minded mentality of sectarian Islam. I thank God that I found this website, which became a turning point in my life, and it pointed the way to the answer I was seeking my entire life and that answer was always in front of me in the Quran. It's too bad that we don't have an organized community, where we can get together, and emigrate to. However, this forum is definitely a good start; so thank God for what we have, and may he guide us to the formation of a community of believers who strive towards righteousness, who reject lies, who don't corrupt the earth, and who contribute towards the betterment of humanity. God willing.
Peace be upon you all.
