    Salaam Everyone,

Please go through the link below. It may be long but worth reading all. One of the brother Joshimitshu who is a Quran alone follower has been questioned by many so called Sunnis. While Joshimitshu seems to be extremely polite, patient and intelligent while responding back and giving answers to their questions with Quranic verses, some of the Sunnis are rude to him.

    http//www.sunniforum.com/forum/showthread.php?72011-Quranists

I am not sure if that brother is in this forum but I wish he is. I am sure he would be an asset.

May God bless him for his good deeds.

Thank you for that link! It was quite interesting to see the dialog, for me. I think the brother, whoever he is, held to his position very admirably. May Allah continue to bless him ! He is also on another thread there called ""Muslims" who only follow the Quran". Masha'allah

          That is not true.

            Salam Sajda,

The link is not from this site but from the site called Sunniforum. I will suggest you to go through it as I am sure you will admire the way Joshimitsu has tried to open their eyes.

What do you mean you would if it wasn't haraam??

            Be blessed!!

Enshallah they do not ban him on their forum. We should all preach the Message, even if it angers people. I even annoy my own family when I do (atheists).

In another thread someone is telling him that he is not welcomed in the forum.. I hope he doesn't get affected by it and continue to convey the truth. I admire his patience already though.

May Allah accept our Duas and guide us to the right path always.

Bros, Don't u feel the urge in our traditional Muslim brothers to convert the other to the Muslim faith as if God will redeem only the Muslims and burn out the rest no matter how much good they have done in their lives.

This is one of the faults in Traditional Islam I find too appalling.

Has anyone here been on a Sunni forum and would you consider joining a Sunni forum?

I didn't read all the threads in the forum but I really would like a Sunni to refer me to the hadiths that outline how to do salat. Painfully, I have gone through the hadiths and yet to find support to this claim that you need hadith to fill in the blanks missing in the Koran.

                            Peace,

I am studying the hadith at the moment to become educated on the corruption and as suspected most of it is nonsense and the rest is things an average sensible man/woman could work out on their own. The sunni forums blames people of circular arguments but what is more circular than to use hadith as a valid source of teachings. Now recently there comes absurd claims that the Quran is not preserved too. What is this???

The Quran does not, to my understanding, contain any nonsense while you cannot even read one page of traditional hadith without finding hilarious claims.

The ability of man to become indoctrinated and brainwashed is puzzling, even seemingly highly educated people from among traditional Muslim faiths are believing in it. Luckily, it seems like many traditional Muslims leave their sects because of movements like this, so our efforts are not in vain here. They are brainwashed, but many of them can see intelligent counter-arguments and see after some tossing and turning that their hadith is extremely flawed and it is illogical and irrational to follow them.

Biggest issue is all the new victims that join traditional Islam and get stuck in these cults. But in meantime, many people also go almost straight to pages like free-minds.

And people through media and other sources get a tainted image of what islam really is. I dislike that the sects and religious terror groups are destroying the peaceful nature of God's religion. Almost no one in my family has a good view of Islam and what can we blame for that? I think they believe that I am brainwashed when it comes to me embracing Islam even if I told them Islam is not as you know it.

I try to make people aware of God most of all and not necessarily convert them to Islam but to God's religion.

                            God bless you

Yes its true, you cannot find salat movement in the single hadis Shaheh, but by gathering together all the hadith sahih, hasan , musnad etc, thus Ulama tafseered from them then the result is Sunni salat today.

It's only ulema's innovation by intepretated from hadith.

I was member of one of the sunni forums. I do not reject or accept hadiths, just study them in order to better understand islam. I left that forum after they said that I will burn in hell because I do not believe in 72 virgins and stoning people to death rotfl

                                        Peace,

Lets also be careful then with our own understanding of the Quran and not say how many, how few or who will burn in hell considering what Sonny said because he raises a valid point. If there is one thing I am learning with the Quran, is that it encourages us not be hasty with it. From its structure, that requires careful study of the chapters, to its constant reminder to be patient. May Allah swt guide all those who seek Him.
