I wonder though, how we can recall friends we had in this lowly life, but we are not able to remember how long we stayed.
23112 Say, "How long have you stayed on earth in terms of years?"
23113 They said, "We remained for a day, or for part of a day. So ask those who kept count."
23114 He said, "You have remained for very little, if you knew"Interesting eh? ) What do you guys think? Peace.

Thank you! I recalled it partly because I had been discussing parts of this Surah on the thread about Abraham, Ishmael and the issue of killing his son. When I looked at the context of that incident, I read about those verses )
You can remeber a dream, but you will not know for how long it took place, neither is bed room clock-time, nor in perceived time in the dream. So time can be very elusive and relative it seems. Time is not the essence of things then.

The "Jannet", is the time after the day of judgement, paradise (physical jannet). Am I on the right track? Peace.
