1- When I am clean from my mind and from my heart, at such times, I feel myself very close to Allah. This is because, if we have problem in our minds and heart then it may lead us to go astray. 210-11, 37

I have a question... If i want to feel very close to Allah, i have to be clean from problems in our minds and hearts, but i am always filled with problems and issues, if it is not home problems it is worldly problems. The prosecution of innocent muslims and so on.. it really bothers me and i dont understand why?

Is it normal to be bothered by world problems so much that i get really upset and angry. I dont see other people really thinking about these things a lot. I dont understand why i cant stop thinking about these things..

So it is very hard for me to concentrate on my connection with Allah because my head and my heart are full..

Can someone give me some advice please?

    with love and peace

    Salaam

        Peace,

I did reply to the last thread you made I believe. I know how you feel though - most people were disinterested in my Akhenaten thing. But I get that is not to everyone's tastes. I even PMed you later to see how you were doing, but I am not sure you responded.

The first thing you can try is to communicate with Allah swt about everything you feel upset by. I don't think you need to be free of problems to talk to Allah swt after all He is there to help us with these problems we face.

          peace,

I do not necessarily think this is a problem. In fact, you may have a much better connection than you think. You may wish to consider my posts here

            Peace MemberOfIslam,

And I do mean peace, find your place in creation, you are only a human being.
Your intenseness may be what the world needs from you. Do what you can in your
sphere of influence, no matter how big or small, seek wisdom and understanding
or insight and knowledge and know that this life is a test, and you are needed to make
it a better place, find out what makes you happy, and glorify God night and day.

If anyone thinks that GOD cannot support him in this life and in the
Hereafter, let him turn completely to (his Creator in) heaven, and sever (his
dependence on anyone else). He will then see that this plan eliminates anything
            that bothers him.

              Peace again,

To add to my brief post earlier we all get bothered by things and angry sometimes. Life can be very unfair at times, people do not allow for justice such as in the persecution of Muslims you mentioned but there is also persecution of many other groups and communities from all walks of life. Or even injustice just on an individual scale. As Muslims we should be trying to focus on fairness and justice as guided by Allah swt and the Quran - but I can't say I find that much sadly. These things will always remain in the Earth probably - I'm not saying we shouldn't do anything about it but these problems are much bigger than we are. Even on an individual scale, there is nothing we can do to change the hositility and hate that some people feel to Muslims or anyone else for that matter. We can educate, we can communicate with them where possible, but its up to them to change from within.

It's also not just humans beings that face injustice - the Earth and animals, trees and the environment in general has been maltreated and neglected.

Then again, there is also hostility and hateful attitudes from some within the Quran only community to others within the group or to those outside it so like it says in the Quran - this is about mankind's attitude to life and other people.

I've said before I think that when we want to be close to Allah but we aren't sure if we are it could just be our steadfastness that keeps us close to Allah swt. Although, it is Allah swt that chooses who is brought nearest to Him.

Also being ourselves is very important and doing what pleases Allah not what sounds good or what pleases other people. Even our charity should be because Allah swt has guided us towards such behaviour and to gain His pleasure. I could go on, especially about the lack of justice and lack of fairness but this is probably a good place to stop.

such as those unjust/negative/etc situations not only affecting others but affecting me (mentally/spiritually), whilst they did not happen to me directly as if they were linked to me in some way indirectly, how I felt them linked to me, feeling chained to the bad situations around me, like they made me feel personally burdoned, like a weight on my shoulders, weighed down.... when all I want to do is feel the opposite, to transcend the weight/burden/chains of this life, rise spiritually/mentally, but how experience of these situations were beating me up inside, they were holding me down, weighing me down, I felt chained to them unable to break free and uplift myself...

can someone explain what this means exactly. i find this very interesting

We all or many of us have felt that way at some time. We suffer because we are powerless inthe face of it. As against that you should do, of course what is in your power and for the rest trust God and ask him to take care of those you cannot help. He can and He will. You have to trust. You have to trust that everything in His hands will be squared, that those who suffer will be requitted as least pproportionnately. That their reward will be bigger for having undergone such trials. That, as God says, nobody will regret anything. You have to trust, brother or sister and not be impatient. For you it may be a big dispairing mess. For God it is nothign. God can right everything and make good everything.

Help along, pray along, and trust. He knows. He knows how you feel, just ask Him and trust Him. God wants that we ask him for things.

                        Salaam

                          Peace,

I think the biggest problem to get past is the doubt about whether God exists or not. If you become momeen and become absolutely certain then it becomes a lot easier.

Most of us may have to work hard before God actively shows Himself through signs which are clear enough not to be missed. When you begin "to walk along the beach with the Lord" then you will not have the slightest doubt about God's existence. And you will particularly feel more Peace and Prosperity since God walks along with you.

                          God bless you

Yes it is a challenge to do good, but what choice do we have? Simply do what you can
by being creative, patient, diligent and good natured, and if it is too much for you
emotionally, abandon the endeavor, remember, the earth is spacious and that God is
                              forgiving, most merciful.

I don't think you have the right understanding of 210-11. Would you mind explaining more. Perhaps this would help. Some 20 years ago, I thought that my heart and mind were diseased as I had troubles with hadiths. It took years to see the truth.

When your heart and mind is filled with problems, don't you think this is when you need God the most?

This statement you posted is a kind of dilema. Why?
You said you want to be close to Allah by remove problems in mind and heart, but as we know in this world we always face the problems or tests from Allah to testing our faith.

There is some to get close to Allah, like by do salat, meditation, recite Quran, thinking His creation etc.And in the last Allah is not only your actions but your heart.

We all or many of us have felt that way at some time. We suffer because we are powerless in the face of it.

                                        Salaam

I often try to pray but it results in me neglecting prayer and wondering if its necessary, even thoug i KNOW it is obligated i am very rebellious when it comes to the ritual prayer i was tought as a child.

I dont know why that is. So my connection with Allah is merely talking and trying to feel his response if you understand what i mean. I just think in quiet moments you can sometimes have an answer.

I really want to become momeen but maybe you are right, i always want to know who GOD is and from reason, this image of an old man with a beard jumps in my mind when i think of him.

That's what i have when i pray, i think of an old man with a beard thats staring at me and checking every move.

That scares me a lot (you wouldnt believe what other scary thoughts enterd my mind when i am praying or trying to pray)
