Ok am not gonna go into the story of how I ended up here just yet, I'll save that for another day, when I'm feeling more eloquent. I just have a few questions about peolples practices, here goes-

When it comes to Sunni ritual prayers, what are peoples problems with them, for me it is the mention of others, other than God, is that a common feeling here? If so what did you decide to do instead??

As I was not bought up muslim, I have not been adverse (until my conversion to Islam) to the occasional alcoholic bevvie. I did wonder what the prophet Jesus thought he was up to, offering everyone a glass of house red, when we aren't supposed to touch it (until we die).
What are others thoughts on this, I mean do any/many of you enjoy the occasional white wine spritzer, guilt free or not?
Third and final for now) Halal meat, what do you all reckon??
