    Peace Kashmiree

    Hehehe, I know you copy paste from my post in another thread, kashmireee )

    Why the "junub" in 56 didn't translate as "far" like in 436?

    This also happened in "zakat".The reality is the word "zakat" means purity, but why in Quran translation was translated into "charitable giving"?
    Because to translating the Quran is not simply using the dictionaries instead we must use the book of tafseer or maybe the hadith to understand the meaning of the Quran.

    Hadith is already distorted because only delivered by oral transmission by many years, yes it's true so that's why it's not an obligatory to believe on them.
    But hadith is still contains some Islamic terminologies and little historical track about our religion (sirah of Muhammad etc)

    In ahadith, the following function is valid

    void define_zakat(string Zakat)
    {
    Zakat = "(purifying) obligatory charity";
    return Zakat;
    }

    Because to translating the Quran is not simply using the dictionaries instead we must use the book of tafseer or maybe the hadith to understand the meaning of the Quran.

    Can you find one verse from the Quran where the word Zakat can not have any other meaning than an obligatory charity?

        Peace mohf

        Can you find one verse from the Quran where the word Zakat can not have any other meaning than an obligatory charity?

        Verse 18181

        Verse 1913

        The word "zakat" from that verses means "purity" different from 243.I want ask you, from where the meaning "obligation charity" delivered from?

        It's like you translate the word "salat", "junub", "hajj", "masjid" if you translate this words too literally/harfiyah ways then you will get the meaning of that words, different from which we already heard for long time.

        The proper example is Aidid Safar, he intepretate the Quran withouth any book of tafseer instead only depending on his ro'yu and dictionaries.

        See his explanation of the Quran http//www.aididsafar.com/
        http//mentalbondageinthenameofgod.wordpress.com/

        But it's up to you to follow what, because there is no restrictions in here.

          I dont want any one to divert from the topic but i would like to know clear meanings of those words specially "JUNUB".I am trying Aidid Safar website but it shows the translation of first to surahs only....if anyone has the whole PDF would be much appreciated.

          The reason why we are here is to find the truth not to read the same stuff written all over the web so please guys if you have a clear thought u want to share do share or just dnt divert from the topic i asked a simple question and i dont mind having a complicated answer as long as it is logical. please dnt try to push the meanings of the word if you guys do not have the proper translated source and i think tht is all i am looking for a proper accurate meaning of word "junub" with the source mentioned. (and i can assure you masturbation is not a sexual activity its a hormonal thought process leading your physical parts to react in a certain way just the way it does in night fall or in anger or sadness...you know when people cut them selves) sexual activity involves 2 beings it cant be done alone..... you cant be raped with your own finger.

          so lets find the real meaning of this word "junub"

          peace )

            Peace Kashmiree.(sorry for late reply ))

            I'm not asked you to read his Quran translation, but what I intent to ask you to open his website is to give you example of Quranist who translate the Quran by using dictionary only, but reject any book of tafseer.

            Example is he not translated salat as ritual, sujud as prostation, hajj as pilgrimage and etc.
            Just open his website especially mentalbondageinthenameofGod.com, then you may found more invicible explanations of the Quran.

            There is good explanation from bro Joe Betik for the word "junub"

              Salaam Earthdom.

              Why do we have to rely on tafseer? Don't you know that many so-called tafseers are just corruptions of Qur'an.

              By the way I feel bad for some Quran aloners who self-interpret Qur'an to suit their desires. These people make no difference from Sunnis/Shi'ites/Qadianis/Khawarij etc.

                OMG Yuliana, you ask the same questions like in your vote thread. ???

                Are you already read my answer in there?
                Please re-read my explanations in this thread about the word "junub" in 56, "zakat",

                "
                The real meaning of "junub" is far not "sexual intercouse" nor "after sex" etc"
                The proof is verse 436 436 ".....the neighbor farther (junub/ &#1616 away"

                But why the the junub is translated as activity?

                See, how we know if "junub" in 56 is "sexual intercouse" if we only dependent on literal dictionary.
                The real meaning "zakat" is "purity" not charity then how we know if the word "zakat" is charity is we use dictionary alone D.

                The more important is the word "masjid".Actually the word "masjid"/"masjada" and "sujud" is the same word, but only in different form, so how we know if masjid is a place to worshipp if we avoid anykind of historical narration?Unless you follow brother Wakas's advice in here http//www.mypercept.co.uk/articles/meaning-masjid-quran.html

                The good example of Quranist who reject anykind of tafseer is Aidid Safar etc, see his explanations in

                http//mentalbondageinthenameofgod.wordpress.com/

                From that sites, you will know if he didn't believe of salat ritual, charity/zakat, hajj ritual etc.

                And there is important thread that you must read http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9605201.0

                That thread is about some critics for Quranist who translate the Quran without any tafseer book.

                In the last, it's up to you to follow what, because I'm not your God so I cannot regulate you. peace

                Oh yeah, it's the second one you asking the same to me, if you keep asking some similiar questions, then possiblity I will not responded peace

                Salaam

                  I recommend full shower. The Hadith at certain points may suggest only wudu after emission, but I think it is a sexual act with bodily discharges so the whole body should be cleaned if possible or at least that area thoroughly as one might do if they have gone to the bathroom. I think a shower would be the safest bet, but thorough cleaning of the area being always necessary.

                    Masturbating is Haram period, lets take a look.

                    Basically what TS is doing is that he is witnessing ZINA.

                    "O you who believe, you shall be absolutely equitable, and observe God, when you serve as witnesses. Do not be provoked by your conflicts with some people into committing injustice. You shall be absolutely equitable, for it is more righteous. You shall observe God. God is fully Cognizant of everything you do." Q.5;8

                    And youre looking at private parts arent you?

                    "Tell the believing men to reduce of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what they do. "Q.2430

                    And for you all that says it is not haram

                    "Those who love to see immorality spread among the believers have incurred a painful retribution in this life and in the Hereafter. God knows, while you do not know." Q. 2419

                      None of that says it is "haraam".

                      That does not say it is better to abstain if one can though since it is an instinctive behavior.

                      Be well

                        masturbution is need , how hard one try to keep himself away. it have to be done anyway, everything has a limit when limit increase it will come out. thats natural law, a bowl full of water and pouring more water in it will make it discharge.

                        maximum limit one can stop from masturbution is one month, its a natural phenomenon but a shy one nobody really dare to accept he/she do it. but honestly everybody does it .if somebody say he/she dnt its mean they need treatment.

                        but question here is this . traditonla scholars call it a big sin whereas its impossible to stop it , its a natural process of body, cuttting har, shave nails , are external wadte where as sperm, shit ,urine, phelm are inernal wastes. waste is just waste it have to get waste anyway,

                        when somebody have wet dreams they also do it in a same way of masturbution,

                        conclusion , you cannot geet rid of it, is it also some kinda test that impose on us, and when you are doing it everybody really fancy a women/boy at that time and i msure if suddendly they come infront of them they will not gona wait for changing masturbution into sin.

                        any comments please this topic and nature always stuck my understanindig and i still not sure what strategy should one follow.
