    Salaam,

I would like to give my understanding about the words Qablu and Qabli in alQuraan with the permission of my Lord, Allah, inshaAllah. Please click on the aayaat numbers to see its translation.

These are very common words used many times in alQuraan but gives a huge difference in its meaning.

    • Qablu = Long back .
    • Qabli = In your period of time .

There are many more aayaat that clarifies this understanding. Please take a look at some of them below

    For - Qablu

Please check , , , and many more.

    For - Qabli

Please check , , , and many more.

Now, after checking all the aayaat quoted above, some questions arise in the following aayaat.

about Ramadhan fasting. So it may not be referring to the fasting of Maryam in as mentioned in this thread. But gives us the definition of saum and update on that Ramadhan thread is still useful, alhamduliAllah.

    about Muhammad and Qabli.
This is how everything is detailed with clear explanations in alKitaab as per , alhamduliAllah. hail

Whatever mentioned above is my personal understanding, please check all the aayaat given before accepting it.

May Allah increase our knowledge and guide us on His path pr

      Salaam mmkhan

First sorry, I didn't understand your explanation and by the way word "qabl" always mean "before" in prepositional and adjective phrase.

It can also be means " accept, agree, consent, assent, accede " if that word used as a verb.

      • Qablu = Long back .
      • Qabli = In your period of time .

It's called tafisiriyah tarjamah. You used Sunni based translation as your bases, while you already knew, if they aren't translate the word "qabl" with per huruf or word by word translation instead change the real meaning, so it will became fit to their fatwa agenda.

I have not stdied it yet. But please note that the Quran has many dialetric errors, only the letters are preserved. Both the words you are trying to differentiate are the same, except with one dialetric difference.

Please see the Warsh and Hafs version of Quran, there is an article on free-minds. You will be surprised.

          Peace mohf.

I also interested to study differences of Harf and Warsh mushaf, but I have no time to do this.
So if you already have research on it, please you can share your research to us.

            Peace,

Red How will you proof this? From fake history or hadith? Please don't forget that we are talking about the Book of Allah. Do you think Allah allow people to make changes as they want? Sorry, I disagree. Please think again about what you said. If you have any supporting aayat from alQuraan for your claim, then inshaAllah, surely we will discuss it further.
