Salam All

Salam,
I am a recent revert to Islam and came across your forums as I began to question Hadiths. I was so happy to know I was not alone in my beliefs! I couldn't figure out why it never felt right to recite Al-fatiha, in particularly " You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help" and then seeking knowledge from a source other than the "fully detailed book". To question something so ingrained in the minds of most of the Muslims I know scared me at first. I am now struggling to get used to the idea of changing some of the things that I learned from the Hadith followers that are close to me. -
Peace,
Welcome to the forum. Glad the amount of people who see the Light seems to be starting to increase. I will never give up myself and leave this forum, God willing.
I think forums like these are required to let people question their belief system, if they are not managing this without it. There are probably a lot of nonsense on this forum but at least people were allowed to speak their minds. And amidst all that nonsense were pieces of the Truth. I have most likely said some nonsense myself at occasions, but we are just humans okay, and so far no one is blessed with Messengership that they utter God's words directly or through (divine) inspiration. Or maybe someone is without perceiving?
God bless you

I agree with that completely. It is hard to distance ones self from differences of opinion without distancing yourself from others.

Welcome sister and salam! I am so happy that you found the courage to be who you are and trust in what Allah swt has inspired in your heart. I personally know how it feels to abandon all you know that is wrong for what you know in your heart to be right, even if it costs you. Have faith sister and I will pray for you that Allah will provide you a mercy of strength and patience to help you threw. Read Quran and Allah will tell you the way
Have no doubt in that.
It sounds to me like you are already stronger thn you think
