    Description of the Prophet?s prayer
    www.islam-qa.com/en/ref/13340

Narrated Abu Sulaiman and Malik bin Huwairith
We came to the Prophet (PBUH) and we were (a few) young men of approximately equal age and stayed with him for twenty nights. Then he thought that we were anxious for our families, and he asked us whom we had left behind to look after our families, and we told him. He was kindhearted and merciful, so he said, "Return to your families and teach them (religious knowledge) and order them (to do good deeds) and offer your prayers in the way you saw me offering my prayers, and when the stated time for the prayer becomes due, then one of you should pronounce its call (i.e. the Adhan), and the eldest of you should lead you in prayer.

    http//sunnah.com/bukhari/78/39

    Narrated Abu Qilaba
I saw Malik bin Huwairith saying Takbir and raising both his hands (on starting the prayers and raising his hands on bowing and also on raising his head after bowing. Malik bin Huwairith said, "Allah's Messenger (PBUH) did the same."

    http//sunnah.com/bukhari/10/131

Narrated NafiDuring the affliction of Ibn Az-Zubair, two men came to IbnUmar and said, "The people are lost, and you are the son of Umar, and the companion of the Prophet, so what forbids you from coming out?" He said, "What forbids me is that Allah has prohibited the shedding of my brother's blood." They both said, "Didn't Allah say, 'And fight then until there is no more affliction?" He said "We fought until there was no more affliction and the worship is for Allah (Alone while you want to fight until there is affliction and until the worship become for other than Allah." Narrated Nafi (through another group of sub-narrators) A man came to Ibn Umar and said, "O Abu Abdur Rahman! What made you perform Hajj in one year and Umra in another year and leave the Jihad for Allah' Cause though you know how much Allah recommends it?" Ibn Umar replied, "O son of my brother! Islam is founded on five principles, i.e. believe in Allah and His Apostle, the five compulsory prayers, the fasting of the month of Ramadan, the payment of Zakat, and the Hajj to the House (of Allah)." The man said, "O Abu Abdur Rahman! Won't you listen to why Allah has mentioned in His Book 'If two groups of believers fight each other, then make peace between them, but if one of then transgresses beyond bounds against the other, then you all fight against the one that transgresses. (49.9) and--"And fight them till there is no more affliction (i.e. no more worshiping of others along with Allah)." Ibn Umar said, "We did it, during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (PBUH) when Islam had only a few followers. A man would be put to trial because of his religion; he would either be killed or tortured. But when the Muslims increased, there was no more afflictions or oppressions." The man said, "What is your opinion about Uthman and Ali?" Ibn Umar said, "As for Uthman, it seems that Allah has forgiven him, but you people dislike that he should be forgiven. And as for Ali, he is the cousin of Allah's Messenger (PBUH) and his son-in-law." Then he pointed with his hand and said, "That is his house which you see."

Prayer according to Sahih (Authentic) Hadiths
    http//javeria.wordpress.com/2009/04/05/prayer-according-to-sahihauthentic-hadiths/

Where is the procedure in these quotes?

Your majority Sunni does not accept raising hands again and again . Only Ahle hadith do this on ridiculous premises.

            Salaam,

The minimum age of marriage is when the girls are mature enough to be wives and take care of a family and have gone through puberty. I would say the legal age in most countries is the absolute minimum.

            God bless you

              Peace all

Neither the age of marriage is puberty nor maturity but a age where a girl understands what is

And how could ye take it when ye have gone in unto each other, and they have taken from you a solemn covenant? (4 21)

And for their covenant we raised over them (the towering height) of Mount (Sinai); and (on another occasion) we said "Enter the gate with humility"; and (once again) we commanded them "Transgress not in the matter of the sabbath." And we took from them a solemn covenant. (4 154)

And remember We took from the prophets their covenant As (We did) from thee from Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary We took from them a solemn covenant (33 7)

Whatever may be the age of the girl, the day she understands perfectly what is solemn covenant / agreement / bond then from that day onwards will be her age of marriage, and I believe that a girl of the age of 6 or 9 years (according to Hadith) can never understand the solemn covenant (it will be a bouncer for her) especially in the era of the messenger. (1400 years back)

              Thanks

                  Peace Man of faith

MATURE Having or showing the mental or emotional qualities of an adult.

Having a fully grown or developed body

According to the Quran age of reaching PERFECT MATURITY IS FORTY

And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning is thirty months. until, when he reaches HIS maturity and reaches forty years, he says, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims." 4615

But how do we know that someone has attained the age of (mental) maturity or not

And test the orphans until they reach marriageable age. Then if you perceive in them sound judgement, release their property to them. .......46

The girl who has grown up to be matured (fully mentally developed) can only be ascertained by way of test {whether she knows

What is SOLEMN COVENANT (NIKAH)} and if she says "I know" then she has really matured mentally for the marriage.

If I am wrong then please correct me. THROUGH ERRORS AND MISTAKES WE LEARN.

                  THANKS

I totally agree with you! I think the minimum age of marriage, AT THE PRESENT TIME, should not be less than 18 years.

Sahih Muslim ? The Book of Virtues
Chapter The Obligation To Obey What He Says With Regard To Matters Of Religion, But Not What He Says With Regard To Worldly Matters

Anas reported that Allah's Messenger (PBUH) happened to pass by the people who had been busy in grafting the trees. Thereupon he said

If you were not to do it, it might be good for you. (So they abandoned this practice) and there was a decline in the yield. He (the Holy Prophet) happened to pass by them (and said) What has gone wrong with your trees? They said You said so and so. Thereupon he said You have better knowledge (of a technical skill) in the affairs of the world.

IS THIS THE WAY YOU CORRECT MISTAKES OF OTHERS? IS THIS WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED FROM THE QURAN? WHAT YOU HAVE EXHIBITED IS NOTHING BUT PRIDE LIKE IBLIS

(Iblis) said "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape." (Al-Hijr 33)

Not so Iblis he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. (Saad 74)

USE YOUR KNOWLEDGE WHICH ALLAH HAS GIVEN YOU FOR BETTER PURPOSE AND NOT FOR FUTILE, UNREASONABLE, MEANINGLESS DISCUSSION.

I OPENLY AND HONESTLY ACCEPT YOUR MASTERY OVER BOTH LANGUAGES (ARABIC AND ENGLISH) AND I DEEPLY RESPECT YOU, BUT TODAY I DISAPPOINTED ME.

                          Marriage in Ancient Egypt

Marriage contracts do not generally tell the age of the parties, but we know from other documents that marriage almost always occurred after sexual adulthood. The average age for girls to enter puberty was 12 to 13, and around 14 for boys. Indeed boys, who had to achieve some work abilities in order to support a wife and future children, were usually 15 or over before contemplating marriage. However, from the Roman period we find documentation of brides being as young as 8, though most scholars believe that is an exception and that a more common age for brides was 12 or older. In royal marriages, particularly between brothers and sisters, the parties seemed to be often much younger. We know, for example, that Tutankhamun probably married his sister when he was about nine years old.

                            Salaam,

It seems a bit immoral to marry a girl who is nine years old if you cannot keep your fingers off her because she is not ready for sexual intercourse. It would be different if it was some kind of caretaking contract, but it still seems very strange.

However, our idea of mature age might have changed slightly the past 1000 years. You need to consider that the life span of people in the past was much shorter than it is today. Traditions say Muhammad became about 60 years old but this was extraordinary at this time.

From a biological point of view, even if not psychological, at puberty a female has reached reproductive age. Yes, it is hard to fathom, but if you look at the facts it is like that. But young teenagers are hardly optimally mature to be wives, but on the other hand children in the past might have become mature much earlier than today because of more responsibilities were on them from the start. See boys started working full-time at maybe as young as 13-14 100 years ago.

But marrying a prepubescent girl at the age of 9 seems a bit far-fetched. It cannot have been a sexual relationship at that young age if it even took place, especially from a Prophet, but more like engagement.

Well at the end I have hard to believe any source about Muhammad's life that is from historical records except the Quran. They are far too biased and often pure fantasy and fairy tales.

Look, it takes some pervert to get turned on by a nine-year-old girl and even more to take on this skinny girl with no body features. She is just a child.

Marriages were treated different in the past. You gave away your daughters, as planning their lives early on and it was perfectly normal to give them away at an early age, but there were limitations too. Moral laws must have applied even then and been a disgusting act to take on a very young girl.

Whatever sane man wishes to go to bed with a prepubescent girl? It is just skin and bones and a sweet little girly face. Ah, go away pedophiles!

By going to the extreme, and illegally too (these days), a 13-14 year old female must be the minimum age a man can feel the urge to go to bed with them. Guard your private parts from sin. But even then it is just pleasure and you get nothing experience-wise and they are not ready to be mothers or even mentally stable for the flush of hormones intercourse means. It is a sensitive age where they have a transition from childhood to adolescence. It still takes some years in most cases until they are mentally stable and found their identity. Would you make your teenager pregnant who barely even knows herself? No life experience, nothing. It suits a society where the women are confined to the kitchen but not where women are allowed to know things outside the kitchen.

And for your information, I am not going to bed with young teenagers... Heck for a sane adult man even 18 year old females look like children to me.

                            God bless you

                              I agree with your views.

There are people who support the Hadith of the messenger marrying Aisha at the age of 6 and the consummation of the marriage at 9 and when I asked them "WILL YOU MARRY OFF YOUR DAUGHTER WHO IS 6 OR 9" there was no reply and they presented many excuses. They do no practice what they believe and preach.

                              Thanks

                                Peace Mazhar

Subject is MATURITY. THE SUBJECT IS NOT AL NISSA. I DO NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF AL NISSA, COULD YOU PLEASE TEACH ME?

                                Peace,

We are not discussing on this forum the marriage laws and practices of Americans or Egyptions. We are discussing with reference to Qur'aan. It uses the word "AnNisa" for marriage. And AnNisa signifies only fully adult women. And fully adult is defined in Qur'aan as one who has reached to fully mature state, physically and mentally.

                                  PEACE

And fully adult is defined in Qur'aan as one who has reached to fully mature state, physically and mentally.

QUOTE ME THE VERSED WHEREIN IT SAYS THAT AN ADULT IS HE WHO HAS REACHED TO FULLY MATURE STATE, PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY

HOW YOU KNOW WHETHER THE FULLY ADULT IS MENTALLY MATURED OR NOT? BY HIS AGE? BY HIS PHYSIQUES?

And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning is thirty months. until, when he reaches HIS maturity and reaches forty years, he says, "My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims." 4615

And test the orphans until they reach marriageable age. Then if you perceive in them sound judgement, release their property to them. .......46

THERE ARE THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF ADULT MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE NOT YET MENTALLY MATURED

                                    Salaam,

Can you please avoid writing so much with uppercase letters. It can be considered offensive and that someone has burst into anger and run amok.

                                    God bless you

QURAN SAYS 40 YEARS IS THE AGE OF MATURITY. WHAT IS YOUR PREDICTED AGE FOR MATURITY

                                      Examples of MATURE

She's very mature for her age.
He has a mature outlook on life.
His parents didn't think he was mature enough to live on his own.
Their bodies were mature, but they still behaved like children.
After mature reflection, he concluded that he had been mistaken.
                                      (FROM MERRIAM - WEBSTER)

WHATEVER BE THE AGE OF MEN/ WOMEN UNLESS THEY ARE "TESTED" YOU DO NOT KNOW WHETHER THEY ARE MENTALLY MATURED OR NOT

IN CASE OF MARRIAGE A MAN / WOMAN SHOULD REACH THAT AGE OF MENTAL MATURITY WHERE THEY UNDERSTAND perfectly what is AND WITHOUT TESTING THEM THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE

AGE AND ADULTHOOD IS IRRELEVANT TO MARRIAGE AND THE UNDERSTANDING OF IS APPLICABLE TO BOTH MEN AND WOMEN

                                      THANKS
