wa sallimoo thasleema (3356) - is this why, the requirement of salutations ?
wa yusallimoo thasleema (465 ) - here is only submission and comply. No mentioning of any salutations even in traditional translations. Then how the 'salutation' magically appears in 3356 ?
Also thasleema again come as acceptence/submit in 3322. If there should be the meaning of 'say salam', in 3356, then there should have been 'sallimoo salaama' or sallimoo alayhi, not thasleema.Suppose a Police chief commands to a constable, "Help this man", and the constable replies - "You help him". How would that be ?
Now take the traditional meaning for sallimoo as 'salutations'. Allah commands "Say salam". People replies- " You say salam" (Allahumma sallim)
Now take the original meaning for sallimoo as 'comply/submit'. Allah commands " Submit to Prophet". People replies - " You submit to Prophet " ! (Allahuma sallim)Same way,when Allah commands to do salat (help&support) on the prophet, People replies - "You help and support prophet" (Allahumma salli )
Allah(swt) commanded to help prophet and sahabas did it.
3356 - Allah and his angels are doing salat(help&support) on prophet. O you believe, you do salat on prophet and comply completly. (original meaning)
(Here the meaning cannot be- Allah and his angels are saying salat, because there is no God above Allah for Allah to say salat.)
And also the meaning cannot be- "Allah and his angels are doing salat, O believers, you say salat" because the meaning of the first is applicable to the second in the same sentence.When Allah commands to do salat on prophet and comply to prophet, People sing 'maula ya salli wa sallim daeman abada" ( O Allah, you say salat and salam on prophet continuously forever)

Why "tasleema" is in accusative case? What is its role/function in the sentence? Had he known it he might not have said what he said above.
In 465, wa yusallimoo thaslima means only submit in submission/comply. The same is used in 3356. How is the meaning becomes into 'salutation' there ?
He said it should have been 'sallimoo alayhi' because in other verses of Quran, when commands to say salam, adds such 'dyothakams' (idk the english word for it), i think dyothakam means the words such as alaykum etc.
Another evidence-
When commanded to 'do salat', Quran models Allah. (ie Allah and angels are doing salat, o believers do salat) but excludes 'sallimoo tasleema' from it. The verse separates 'wa sallimoo tasleema', an extra job after 'do salat'.
If sallimoo tasleema meant 'salam', Quran would never exclude it. Because Quran already says Allah said salam(the greeting without prayer) to other prophets including nabi. So Quran should have say 'Allah do salat and say salam, o believers, you do salat and say salam'. But Quran didnt say it. Quran said 'Allah doing salat, o believers you do salat' and commands an extra job, sallimoo tasleema, comply to prophet , A job that Allah cannot do.
Anyway my main question is how the 'salutation' meaning comes in 3356, when its not in 465 as they uses the same 'sallimoo tasleema' ? And apart from sallimoo alayhi/sallimoo salama, do you have any other objections with the post reply 10 ?

By the way, according to the Quran, Shaytans cannot hear Quran, but according to Bukhari hadith, shaytan knew about Ayathul kurusy. Actually shaytan taught the aspects of Ayatul kurusi to Abu Huraira.
Bukhari Volume-6 Book-61 Number-530. Narrated by Abu Mas'ud.
The Prophet said, "If somebody recited the last two Verses of Surat Al-Baqara at night, that will be sufficient for him." Narrated Abu Huraira Allah 's Apostle ordered me to guard the Zakat revenue of Ramadan. Then somebody came to me and started stealing of the foodstuff. I caught him and said, "I will take you to Allah's Apostle!" Then Abu Huraira described the whole narration and said) That person said (to me), "(Please don't take me to Allah's Apostle and I will tell you a few words by which Allah will benefit you.) When you go to your bed, recite Ayat-al-Kursi, (2.255) for then there will be a guard from Allah who will protect you all night long, and Satan will not be able to come near you till dawn." (When the Prophet heard the story) he said (to me), "He (who came to you at night) told you the truth although he is a liar; and it was Satan."Prophet thought 2 verses of al baqara was sufficient. But once again, it was because of his ignorance. Fortunately Shaytan teaches about Ayatul kurusi also. Thus we can see that even Shaytan teaches Islam to People of hadiths. We can learn that Shaytan was also an usthaad of Abu Huraira.

Salutations, commemoration, revering a person, acknowledging the service rendered to humanity is never idol worshipping. But when such words are employed for the elevated Messengers of Allah the Exalted, it seems to certain people idol worshipping. Strange psyche!
What Satan advocates is written in Qur'aan. See therein whether he tells you to indulge in idol worshipping?

Idol worship cannot be disguised by Nouns, verbs, grammar... Elevating God s creation no matter who or what is idol worship.
Can you please explain what " Salla-llaho alaihi wa sallam" means?
What would you gain/lose by saying or not saying it?

It just does not make sense?

Only that logic is good which follows the norms and principles of reading a book and understanding the meanings of the text. Without knowing the grammar of language one can draw whatever he likes to understand. That would certainly be satanic style because he presumes at his own about his superiority without so declared by Allah.

There is no mentioning of salutations, in this verse 465 in translations like yusuf ali,pickthall,shakir etc and all the other major traditional translations in quran.com. How in the world, salutation comes in this verse ? This verse is talking about accepting the judgement of Prophet.
Accept and submit to the judgement of Prophet and say a salam too ? Isn't this a desperate try to interpret 'salam' in 3356 ?
