Salat

Peace Wakas.
You mean there is a difference between ordinary "prayer" and "Aquimi salat".
I clarify then "Aquimi salat" is the daily timed specific contact with the Creator!I called "prayer". I should have said "specific daily prayer".
For "dua" I agree with your knowledge regarding this type of prayer.
GOD bless you.

Peace Man Of Faith.
I agree that"salat" can mean different things in different verses. That is not the issue!
I can see where the problem arises if we took"salat" to mean rirual prayer across all the Qoran.
However there are many verses where" Aquimu, Qumtum, Aquamta,Aquimi.. salat can only mean prayer!!!! This is what I am saying.
Salaam,
RED can you give an example where "Aquimu, Qumtum, Aquamta,Aquimi.. salat " can only mean prayer?
There are other verses where "salatuka, salatuhum,.." on its own can also mean prayer.
Example(If you do not agree with the translation use your own...)
17110
Say, "Call Him God, or call Him Most Gracious; whichever name you use, to Him belongs the best names." You shall not utter your Salat too loudly, nor secretly; use a moderate tone.I hope that clarifies for you.
GOD bless you
PeaceBLUE If you take sallaat as the ritual prayer (thus the whole ritual), then what is a loudly sallaat (remember it's talking about the whole sallaat not only voice)?

1- Red comment Example [11114}.
2- blue comment During what you call "ritual prayer" there is communication with the Creator, it includes saying certain words, hence the tone of the voice required to keep the concentration/devotion...etc.
GOD bless you.

Amen I say to you, verily amen. It is surely is a god that is primitive that you serve which first request that the god told Moses was to keep contact prayer to be with it. It looks like all that this god cares about.
To me it more looks like you have become beguiled by the evil one. I think becoming enlightened by God and purified is way more important that military style adherence to a ritualistic prayer with monotonous moves and parroting the exact same phrases as that god hears you because of your many words.
How will that help against immorality and vice?
And in what way does it correlate with the rest of the contexts?
There will be "contacts" from God? What kind of contacts? The only sensible thing from God would be enlightenment in plural is received gradually to the person in question.
Shuaybs people asked if his contact prayer forbade them from serving idols or do with their money as they pleased?
How was it help them to be purified except if they were to be enlightened?
The only comparable word I find is teaching or lesson. If you are enlightened then you have learned a lesson. You are taught. Bingo. Purified, if you carry out what you have been taught.

Salaam,
A lot of words fit in there perfectly not only ritual prayer. Try, study or run or ponder or bath or reading or eat an apple etc etc etc

Peace.it's not referring to the tone of the voice in the sallaat, it's referring to sallaat itself.

Thank you for your post.
1- Which word do you think fits there?
I thought like " Aquimi salat lidhikri" it is restricted to GOD Alone?2-Common sense tells us "salatika" in this case refer to" the saying the words" part of it.
That is my understanding.
I hope you are asking me questions to find out the sincerity of my understanding and not to mock or set traps?
However you are always welcome brother!
Let us both trust in GOD to help us understand His message.
GOD bless you.

1- Which word do you think fits there?
I thought like " Aquimi salat lidhikri" it is restricted to GOD Alone?Salaam,
You added another word and another verse (2014), that is not what you claimed before.
But even with this there are still a lot of words which fit at least as good as the ritual prayer, try ponder or medidate or study or read or help the poor or preach etc etc etc2-Common sense tells us "salatika" in this case refer to" the saying the words" part of it.
That is my understanding.
It's not common sense but your defintion for sallaat left you without other options.
I hope you are asking me questions to find out the sincerity of my understanding and not to mock or set traps?

???
You claimed some things and I wanted to know how you would respond to my questions.
If you have satisfying answers then I will certainly take it as baggage in my quest for the truth.
If you do not have answers or answers that satisfy me then for you your way and for me my way.Let us both trust in GOD to help us understand His message.
GOD bless you.

Harmony to you,
I am glad to see that Bender has understood a falsehood. And verily 'salat' does not have anything to do with praying, whatsoever, unless you think that the prophets pray when they channel or relay information from God, but yet one cannot really connect that with ritualistic praying. As far as I am concerned inspiration coming down has nothing to do with standing in prayer. It can be passing a subtle test or a request for guidance or whatever, such as when Moses came to the well with the two women. And he served the father-in-law for 8-10 years and once he was true to his promise then God or God's representative hailed him when he walked up to a "fire". This is an example of correspondence from God and there was no ritualistic prayer involved. Otherwise correspondence from God is far more subtle than that.

Thank you for your clarification.
I take it you do not know what "Aquimi salat" is yet, and you are still looking for other options?
Of course I am not here to provide satisfying answers for anyone. Your Lord is the one who has your answers.
Keep pondering and studying Qoran. Have more patience.I am giving my views like you are. Others can take what is best from all the views or leave alone all together.
May be you realise and are aware of this , I know I am

Even if a Qoran caused mountains to move, or the earth to tear asunder, or the dead to speak (some will not believe). God controls all things. Is it not time for the believers to give up and realize that if God willed, He could have guided all the people? ...GOD bless you.

Salaam,
No, I have for myself a clear understanding of what "Aquimi salat" means, I believe my understanding fits perfectly in every verse where the word sallaat is mentioned. BUT I am always in search for something better or even if it is not better I still like to learn how people see things, that is imo also very important for various reasons.
