muslims, your understanding of the word does not make any sense

It makes sense to me. . . there is nowhere in the Quran you can find the word (&#1576 in the Quran. . . which is the arabic word for religion
It is because religion or sectarianism was never acknowledged by Allah
mankind is one nation. . . and Islam came to lay the foundation for unity in diversity through freedom of religion

For example. . .The Jews and Christians read the same Book, but why then it is two separate religions ?
It is obvious the idea of religion is not from God. It is man-made, that's why Muhammad is not a Jew or Christian

and Islam came to end religion through freedom of religion, not to create new one . .
ie. (1) Judaism, (2) Christianity, (3) "Religion" of Islam. . . repeating the same mistake of the Jews and Christians. .

      Therefore, sectarianism (&#1575 is a religion (&#1576. . .

Turn towards Him and be dutiful to Him
Establish the divine system (of unity in diversity)

      And DO NOT become

      (1) an idolater who ascribe authorities along with Him,

      (2) Or of those (Jews and Christians etc.)
who (recite the same Book but) have broken the unity
      and become religion (&#1575
each group is happy with what it has
      30.30-32

      . . .

      And, verily, of his (Noah) religion(?) was Abraham;
      3783

3781 He is of Our believing servants.
3782 Then We drowned the others (his clan).
3783 And from his clan ( &#1616 was Abraham.
(Shabbir Ahmed And verily, to his group (of believers, later) belonged Abraham.)

"from his clan ( &#1616" = (referring to the group that are safe/descendants from those who were) "drowned the others"

      IMO

And verily, to his group (that was drowned because they commit oppression through sectarianism/religion, others/descendants from this clan later follow) belonged Abraham.

"For example. . .The Jews and Christians read the same Book, but why then it is two separate religions ?"

Jews read Old testament + talmud, christians read the NT...

"there is nowhere in the Quran you can find the word (&#1576 in the Quran. . . which is the arabic word for religion"

No mention of the word but the word religion/politic is mentioned

2120 And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion/. Say, "Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper.

Jews read Old testament + talmud, christians read the NT...

The point is the idea of religion is not from Allah. . both Judaism and Christianity. It is man-made. No ?

And the Jews say "The Nazarenes have no basis," and the Nazarenes say "The Jews have no basis," while they are BOTH reciting the (same) Book! 2114

          (2) Or of those (Jews and Christians etc.)

Based on the same concept , "sectarianism". . . .

          sectarianism (&#1575 is a religion (&#1576. . .

          So what's the issue ?

The issue is your negative understanding of the word

2815 Sahih International And he entered the city at a time of inattention by its people and found therein two men fighting one from his faction and one from among his enemy. And the one from his faction called for help to him against the one from his enemy, so Moses struck him and killed him. said, "This is from the work of Satan. Indeed, he is a manifest, misleading enemy."

And "The point is the idea of religion is not from Allah"

2130 Sahih International And who would be averse to the religion/ of Abraham except one who makes a fool of himself. And We had chosen him in this world, and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous.

That is an issue ? It is becoming an issue simply because I don't agree with you? How does it explain on the issue of sectarianism and from the verses I gave earlier ? Ignores all? laugh

              . . .

Now do you understand what is sectarianism ?

Why it is not from Allah ?

              Sectarianism is
bigotry (bigot, bigod, By God. . religious hypocrisy and fanatics)
              discrimination
              or hatred

              arising from
              attaching importance to perceived differences
              between subdivisions within a group
(ie. it is not about just vs unjust, but solely on the issue of which group one belongs too,
              Islam/Christian/Judaism/Sunni/Shia/Quranism?
People ignores just vs unjust, ie. religion. . and thus, opposes element of justice in other religions)

such as between different denominations of
              a religion
              class
              regional
or factions of a political movement

              . . .

And "The point is the idea of religion is not from Allah"

2130 Sahih International And who would be averse to the religion/ of Abraham except one who makes a fool of himself. And We had chosen him in this world, and indeed he, in the Hereafter, will be among the righteous.

and do you understand when it is becoming the issue of sectarianism or religion ?

              This is because God has sent down the Book with the truth;
and those who have disputed about the Book
are in open schism (&#1613. (definition of sectarianism)
              2.176 (for example, refer here)

              http//corpus.quran.com/wordimage?id=2307

              Miim-Lam-Lam = to dictate, embrace a religion, creed/faith.

              millah n.f. - 2120, 2130, 2135, 395, 4125, 6161, 788, 789, 1237, 1238, 1413, 16123, 1820, 2278, 387

              amalla vb. (IV)
              impf. act. 2282 x3

              LL, V7, p 257, 258. V8 276, 277

See? Simple comparison shows that the word can easily be contradicted and not conclusive evidence. . . .

Therefore, I don't believe Allah sent religion (fallacy of hasty generalization) for human beings. . . it doesn't make sense.
I believe. . Islam is a universal ways of life, and mankind is one ummah (&#1611. . . as descendants of Adam, no religion.

              And when your Lord
took from the children of Adam
              from their loins
              their descendants (no religion)
and made them testify of themselves
, "Am I not your Lord?"
They said, "Yes, we have testified."

              • lest you should say on the day of Resurrection
"Indeed, we were of this unaware"
                (7172)

Mankind (ie. regardless of religion) was one ummah
              (2.213)

And if your Lord had wished
He could have made all the people one nation
but they still would have continued to disagree. (through religions, ie. sectarianism)
              11118

As for those who divide up their deen (&#1618 and form into religion (&#1575
you have nothing whatsoever to do with them
              6.159

              Therefore. . .

              1. No religion and no sectarianism.

              because. . .

And whoever seeks a "dnan" (&#1575 other than Islam (unity in diversity, living as one nation, as descendants of Adam)
it will NEVER be accepted of him
and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers
              385

                Peace,

The command is the same no matter which people heard about Allah from a prophet and that is BE GOOD and HAVE FAITH is more or less it. Be one with the Singularity that created you and to which Singularity you shall return.

The commandments are a help to let you be guided towards purification and wholeness so you are not an anomaly to The Singularity. Absolutely voluntary, but consequences of not following them is disastrous. But oppression and injustice is completely an abomination not voluntary at all but should be fought against by conscious people. And several of the commandments are actually not voluntary such as thievery, murder, false testimony and adultery, because someone else is hurt and it means injustice. This is why polytheists/mushriks are to be killed unless they are mindful of salat because it does not mean prayer but teaching/command of Allah and the particularly against the commands that cause oppression and injustice.

If one is oppressive and unfair they break the number one commandment Allah is your Master. Obey The Creator. And The Creator hates impurities/anomalies.

So the fools in the passage in question are told to be mindful of what The Creator stands for, the attributes. They should be one with The Creator.

So much for a ritualistic prayer which people seem to defend to their graves.

                Have faith
