Sorry guys about the late reply. Here are the verses

"Mischief has appeared on land and sea because of (the meed) that the hands of men have earned, that (God) may give them a taste of some of their deeds in order that they may turn back (from Evil). " Quran, 3041

"And indeed We will make them taste of the Penalty of this (life) prior to the supreme Penalty, in order that they may (repent and) return". 3221

"(And We said) "If you do good, you do good for yourselves, and if you do evil (you do it) against yourselves." " (177)

Note that the concept of reincarnation is still debatable. Some say that the verse I gave below speaks of us dying all the time in our sleep. It really makes no sense . My understanding is hanging between coma and reincarnation.

"It is Allah Who takes away the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep. He keeps those (souls) for which He has ordained death and sends the rest for a term appointed. Verily, in this are signs for a people who think deeply". 3942

          Peace burnian.

Ask Him directly. Speak to Him. He listens! He also answers?

Thank you good logic. Sorry for the late reply as I need to cry it out first...

It means having belief in Allah and worshiping him only. Actually, when there is calamity or illness we are to seek refuge in him. He helps those who help themselves. So we should do our best to eliminate the calamity. If it is not in our control we are to remain patient. There is nothing wrong in being thankful for what we have. But he does on and on says that we should ask for forgiveness from him for any mistakes we do.

"And be steadfast in patience For verily Allah will not suffer The reward of the righteous To perish. (The Noble Quran, 11115)

"O ye who believe! seek help With patient Perseverance And Prayer for Allah is with those Who patiently preserve. (The Noble Quran, 2153)"

Thank you for sharing and for your prayers reel

When God gives us great difficulties, usually I do not think that He is punishing us, in fact He may be giving us the greatest push. In difficuties we manage what we think we might not manage, we exert ourselves. We suffer a lot... But when it is over we realise that what we went through made us more conscious more satisfied with ourselves and our lot.

Think of prophet Ayub... we are not to loose faith, God continues being the master and about Him there is no doubt. Trust and exert yourself and do not loose faith and hope beause God does not rest, nor sleep, He is at it.

I agree... I often remind myself how hardships and problems bring me closer to Allah. Sometimes, being human, or maybe under influence of satan, I question the tests that I had to go through, that am I that bad, am I that strayed off the path, am I so undeserving that I had to face a lot of hardships. Perhaps my hardships are nothing for others, but sometimes it gets so depressing that I see no point to continue living. Prophet Ayub is the perfect example of righteous servants are also tested (I am not even close to the level of any prophet, very far! But even a prophet gets tested with hardships)

          Peace burnian,

Your mission is to become one with your Creator, God, and it is a constant purification process, but the "submission" or harmonization, or entering into symbiosis is done by your own "transformation" for the better. The path there can be all but straight and your faith is tested, but if you continue steadfastly and patiently then sooner or later faith will enter your heart. First of all you must change because you want to change and not just to please God, because shallow righteousness is worth little. You need to stand by the values of God, the commandments, to carry them out the reverse way, i.e. not just avoid unkindness, injustice and oppression but also show kindness, justice and intervene when someone is oppressed no matter small or big. You need to remember that the commandments are not just commandments, but they are the moral values of God, and to be of God you need to show that you share them with God, and I would say that it is not enough by merely avoid transgressing on them, but you should also actively enforce the positive aspect of them.

The best regard for God you show by doing like I mentioned above. Hence cleanse yourself from impurity by remembering the enlightenment that God has given you and seek the spiritual depth of yourself and seek to become one with God.

It may seem harsh to say it, but usually something bad occurs because you are not really in God's favor, however also because Satan may try to get to you through others that are weak-minded and away from the path of God. Beware of those your keep close to yourself in life. Do not forsake them, but simply be wary. I have noticed Satan tries extra hard on those showing potential to become close to God, so do not lose patience or steadfastness, but ask God to get rid of Satan from your life.

But most importantly like I said; try to make changes for the better in your life and perhaps get rid of the source of the problems that you may have if you can.

Be thankful for the good in life, and learn to see the good things in everything, and be glad for the food on the table each day or that the sun shines or any little thing there is. But ask God to deliver you from the evil. You are allowed to feel grief over the terrible things, God does not expect for you to be happy over a disaster.

I have not heard what kinds of things are happening in your life and your life story so it is hard to really judge upon what I know now.

My problems are mainly financial. I had made a bad investments, business dying and draining the not even there resources etc. that kind. I do not wish to publish my sobstory publicly if you understand. It was my own fault, my mistakes. Everything I worked for to make extra money has all failed miserably. It is not easy to get up from failures upon failures it felt like paralysing. Being cheated and oppressed are also on the list. Anyway, all I wanted to do is to turn it around.

I have been reflecting, a lot about this, and to tell the truth, in my desperation I prayed for guidance. Just pure guidance that I finally found the unthinkable truth that is this path of God Alone. Right at this moment I am really living in isolation, never daring anymore to say anything anymore about quran only to any of my friends and family. I am practicing my faith secretly out of fear, for I am still new and raw. I am clinging to the truth like a dear life and I do not want anyone to snuff it out of me. I often visited this forum just so I can feel like I am not crazy. Because EVERYONE around me are hardcore sunni. I said hardcore as in it is so ingrained, not really beacause they are really practicing, but the closest to me are very religious. I was too. I know they are not worshipping muhammad, idolizing maybe.

Anyway, after reading your post I try hard to think about what is it that I do so wrong that God take away the very thing that I am chasing then it clicks. Since I was young, I have always equated money=freedom and had quite an obsessive thought on being financially free or being rich or being able to work for myself. Perhaps I have unknowingly committed a kind of shirk there. (Astaghfirullah '( )

Regarding being kind, helping others, I feel lacking in that, since My hands are full of childcare, at the moment all I could think of perhaps maybe at the moment my charity and kindness that i could contribute is to my children. At the moment I am expecting my 4th child. And for every pregnancy, the first trimester is going to be debilitating for me. The nausea and vomitting will render me useless. I can barely take care of myself much less work, take care of small kids and I have been pushing myself to the brink. I thank God that it normally last till the 4th months, (still going on now) and not for the whole pregnancy. Normally at these weak points of my life that I feel so depressed and wishing for death and giving up on life. Well I suppose satan also help me to think about that.

But like brother huruf said, these hardship (the pregnancy is new) pushed me, and if I have not being pushed this far, I would have never found the God Alone path. And for this I am eternally grateful that God decided to guide me here and I pray that I would stay and improve and get closer to Him.

Everytime I think I am crazy, and wonder about sunnism being right (since they have answers for every single little things), the thought of accepting hadiths repulsed me. And for that I am also thankful, I have no other way to go but forward.

ps. I like your avatar, somehow despite being from someone of the dark side it is quite a strong statement towards a person who is showing lack of faith. My motto is "Everything is possible, nothing is impossible", so I could as well say that one-liner if I was really annoyed with someone's lack of faith.

Initially I looked for this image to put as my facebook profile, for my husband to see. LOL. At the time the financial trouble seems worse and he cannot see no end to it and I keep telling him to have faith, God will send help. At the moment it seems like I am the one who needs this reminder. P

              Peace burnian.

Please stay loyal to your creator! It pays in the end? Why?

The One who created death and life for the purpose of distinguishing those among you who would do better. He is the Almighty, the Forgiving

? God thus puts you to the test to bring out your true convictions, and to test what is in your hearts. God is fully aware of the innermost thoughts.

We will certainly put you to the test, in order to distinguish those among you who strive, and steadfastly persevere. We must expose your true qualities.

Trusting in GOD and persevering pays off!

Proclaim "The bad and the good are not the same, even if the abundance of the bad may impress you. You shall reverence God, (even if you are in the minority) O you who possess intelligence, that you may succeed."

Many a prophet had godly people fight along with him, without ever wavering under pressure in the cause of God, nor did they hesitate or become discouraged. God loves the steadfast

We know that you may be saddened by what they say. You should know that it is not you that they reject; it is God's revelations that the wicked disregard.

It may get worse before it gets better?

I strongly believe ,once we know GOD, there is no way back? There is no escape from HIM except back to Him?

It is a hard journey but becomes easier once the bond and loyalty is tested! GOD s promise is true.

If we make mistakes/doubt/hesitate... along the journey then we can only apologise, repent and reform!

"You SHALL seek your Lord's forgiveness, THEN repent to Him. He will then bless you generously for a predetermined period, and bestow His grace upon those who deserve it. If you turn away, then I fear for you the retribution of an awesome day."

Also try and keep the peace within your family, GOD knows your situation, complain to HIM, ask HIM to sort it out?

              GOD bless you.
              Peace.

I quote this. Thanks, big brother.

I need to be reminded as well, to strengthen me.

                May Allah bless you.

                  Peace goodlogic,

Thank you for your encouraging words and the quoted ayats (I will be keeping it to read often). I agree, once we know God, there is no way back. Its like, behind me theres raging fire, in front of me is unknown fog. I have to go into the unknown fog til it clears. And for this I am only expressing my fears for I am at it all by myself. Alhamdulillah my faith is not wavering, not now and I hope it will stay forever. I believe I am at a better 'place' since I first posted my intro in this forum, panicking about prayers etc. regarding my 'tested' situation right now, internally I am more peaceful (in my heart) just that when I switched mode to my head (which is when I posted this thread), it really is hopeless and heading towards disaster. I see a no way out. Only by His mercy.

"And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him. And if He touches you with good - then He is over all things competent." 617

This is where I often debate with myself, where is the line between fully trusting God and taking actions or fully trusting God and not do anything coz so far it seems to me that all my actions has been wrong. You know, like when you are sick do you fully rely on God and only pray that He will heal you or go to doctors for medicine...

IMO people are not peaceful not because they don't worship Allah
Many people are very peaceful even without Allah. .
Even the non Muslim. . who can dispute these facts ?
                    (&#8756 Allah is irrelevant.

People are not peaceful because they don't serve other people
Because they live for themselves, take from others , and don't used what they have rightfully
They have debts, all kinds of debts. .
Physical, intangible, social, psychological and emotional debts.
and soon, they will be physically and emotionally bankrupt if they do nothing to improve their life.
Those who are bankrupt will be the hypocrites. . .

Because even without knowing him, they abide by Quranic laws.

"A recent report claims that Ireland is the world?s most faithful when it comes to living the word of the Qur?an. While one would reasonably expect a majority-Muslim country such as Malaysia or Saudi Arabia to top such a list, Ireland, Denmark and Luxembourg are all rated higher at following the Muslim holy text.
Hossein Askari, a Professor of International Business and International Affairs at George Washington University in the US was one of the two authors of the Islamicity index along with Scheherazade S. Rehman, who explained to the BBC how the paper tracked the way in which countries applied the lessons of the Qur?an to societal life.
?We looked at whether or not the countries did what they were supposed to do. We looked at governance, political and human rights and international relations.?
The findings of the report showed that Ireland, the UK and the US all scored higher than every single member of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)." source http//www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/opinion/letters/2014/06/11/ireland-most-faithful-to-teachings-of-the-quran/

In other religions, there are rituals also and some of them are actually more difficult than what we do. Sunnis and Shias brought the headache onto themselves. Majority of the things they think are rituals have no basis in Quran.
