Is financial enticement allowed in Islam?
One of the beneficiaries of unsolicited donations http//www.haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/009.%20At%20Tauba/9.60PPP.gif are translated in the majority of available English translations as "those whose hearts are to be won over; and those whose hearts are to be reconciled"; and Urdu translations render it like Dr. Mohammad Tahir-ul-Qadri
Do you think that Islam permits this sort of enticement? If not, what is wrong with these translations? How to recocile?

It is part of the European Convention on Human Rights
War and political changes sometimes seperate families. This is not a modern phenomenon. It seems righteous to me to apply charity for the purpose of reunification. It seems to fit the Quranic text.
"wal-mu-alafati qulbuhum (hearts)"
The root word hamza lm f ( ف expresses affection. Moreover a form of this root word is used in verse 2443 to join/drive clouds together. Other forms express familiarity.

No, there is no such thing in the Ayah. Family Unification and its conditions are mentioned elsewhere in Qur'aan.

To me this looks pretty convincing. How else would you interprete "reconciling/joining hearts" if it's not referring to family reunification? Furthermore, I dont think it's really an argument that something has been explained in different places of the Quran. Repetition is not uncommon as we know. This ayaat only speaks about the legality of charity funds being applied for such a purpose.
This also shows you why the traditional translation does not withstand scrutiny, none of the forms have any occurence in Quran that do not imply some kind of affectionate bond. A political bribe or financial enticement has nothing to do with hearts, nor affection. It's a purely financial matter. Short term as well.

Charity is something spent from in the earth, it would be incapable to bring hearts together in Quranic meaning. It would however be capable of reuniting hearts.

I meant the same thing after just seeing the caption on opening the link given of wiki. Reunification is an isssue that may be seen in references about Muhajir and Ansaar in Qur'aan.

And why would that contradict the interpretation of 960 being about the same topic. It only stipulates charity can be applied for it.

862 mentions how God creates affection between the Believers.

Quran is very clear.
Yes, that is the point to prove earlier translations as erroneou.
Take note, the gifts of generosity are only for the needy, and the destitute; and the managerial staff upon its management;
And for those whose hearts are absorbed in the cause of Allah ;
And for freeing the captive necks and the serf/under-debt; and for any other good cause for the sake of Allah; and for the wayfarer.
Subject to availability of gifts of generosity in state treasury this determination of deserving ones is ordained-apportioned by Allah the Exalted.
Remain cognizant; Allah the Exalted is the Fountain and Setter of knowledge-science of visible and invisible domains, realities. considerations; and the Infinitely Just Supreme Administrator of the created realm.
All these translations are erroneous since it gives a perception more of baiting, enticement than the sincere philanthropic act. The Grand Qur'aan has laid down an enquiry system and criterion to determine the veracity of a lengthy text It is Critical and logical thinking an enquiry based process and pursuit linking background information given before to determine cohesion and coherence is not only the advised mode of reading and comprehending Grand Qur'aan, but is also an evaluation criterion to assess the accuracy of translations and exegeses. Presence of contradictions and conflicting statements in the target language text will render that work as faulty and inaccurate.

If you had spent whatever wealth is found in the Earth, all collectively, you could not have coalesced put love and affection in between their hearts. But Allah the Exalted has put love and affection between them.
Indeed He the Exalted is Pervasively dominant and the Infinitely Just Supreme Administrator of the created realm, visible and invisible.
