    Hi there buddy,

The imam who declared that Jinn possessed her did not have a solution?

How can people from this forum help her? you will have different answers and views and
may likely worsen the situation if you decide to tell her about various suggestions from this thread.

Too little information available from your post for any one to reply in specific is my view point, unless people want to start talking about jinn and all of that and reply in general.

In most cases, the solution lies in the events of ones childhood, probably some events happened between her and some family member, but again this is speculation, in reality she needs to be examined by a professional psychiatrist, if you really wanna help her.

    Cheers

I think it is likely that she is not possessed by the jinn and also not haunted by the jinns.

But, probably she has ability to see some of the jinns (when most people can't see the jinns), and perhaps she's afraid with their looks (their forms), so maybe her fear influences her life.

I think the best way for her is that she herself seeks help to Allah, but without any mediator (without imam, priest, shaman, psychic, ruqyah practitioner, etc). I suppose she may need to get closer to Allah, without using any mediator between Allah and her.

Perhaps she could pray to Allah to remove her fear (fear of the jinn), so she can live her life without feel being bothered by those jinns, or perhaps she could pray to Allah to remove her ability to see the jinns.

      Salm.

        Peace everyone

I recommend reading these articles about Jinn.

What are Jinn - Part 1

        http//quranonly.wordpress.com/2012/12/08/what-are-jinn/

What are Jinn - Part 2

        http//quranonly.wordpress.com/2013/02/02/what-are-jinn-part-ii/

I don't necessarily agree with all of the views of the author (in the articles about Jinn). However, I think the information in those articles is worth pondering upon.

Hopefully, you will find the above-mentioned articles helpful/beneficial.

          Traditional concept of jinn . . . ?

So, there is also "modern" concept?

I think that such concept (which perceives jinn as non-creature) is vague and bring up another confusion.

I think the jinn is the jinn, up until now, and I prefer to believe the truth, the fact. Fact will remain fact, it has nothing to do with traditional view.

However, I suppose it rather understandable if many people find it hard to believe something that they can't see.

Looks like there are people who brought the concept about the jinn which "more acceptable for modern age (?)". But in my opinion, it won't change the reality.

          Salm.

It does sound like jinn possession to me.

Neptin, is there any way you can diagnose the strength of her mind? This is one thing that can save or ruin her.

The word jinn, looking at the root, is something hidden and guarded, so it may be a concept that comprises different subjects provided they are what, covert, the root and word form suggests. May not have to be restricted to a particular being or phenomenon. I know of different people who have studied the question and have come up with different possibilities and all of them may be true. It may be material beings or immaterial or may be subjects who are "only" jinn when they act jinnwise, that is, being jinn may be one aspect of the subjecy, but not a description of the "the" whole subject.

              Salaam

                The Prayer is

I say I seek refuge in My Caretaker, the Lord of mankind, and the God of mankind that He shall protect my breasts from housing and entertaining all of the unfounded or unwarranted evil whisperings of jinns and of their accomplices in men.

As you invoke Allah's Names thus "O The Caretaker, O The Lord of mankind, O The God of Mankind and jinns" put your full trust in Him; and take care you never utter His Names half heartedly. And remember Him more and more as the Most Forbearing, the Merciful and feel Him alone in the whole of your breast, filling Him up - leaving no gap to either man's or jinn's entire knowledge; either medical or other walks to reason for or to pacify you./color] My prayers are with her too; she should improve by Allah's leave, the Caretaker, the Lord, the Forbearing, the Merciful, the God.

                May Allah bless her

Well, i believe she has been fighting it. She complains that there hasn't been significant improvement since it began at the age of six. She complains of depression, faliures, inability to get emotionally close to anyone and most notable she said she has applied several measures for long without success e.g reciting Qur'an, duas, wearing hijab and niqab.

She is certain that this is beyond mental illness, more of paranormal.

Fighting won't work unless she accepts the fact that her position is higher than those who are trying to annoy her. It has to be in her heart.

                    When she told you

I saw something really scary since then I hv bn seeing things that are not normal
did she describe what exactly she saw?

How about now? Does she see weird things like light beam? Has she ever heard someone whisper when no one is in her room? When I say whisper I mean someone not in her mind, but around her. Has she ever smelled food warming up in the kitchen, but later it turns out that no one is present there? Did she ever feel in her sleep someone physically strangling her?

Regardless if she believes it's jinn or not, will need psychiatric help to figure out the point of origin.

I'm not a professional but spent most of my years growing up figuring out and where possible fixing people's problems. If she's given up on everything else and she's tried everything everyone here has suggested and she's not prepared (or can't afford, Depending on country) psychiatric help then I'm open to talking to her and try and find the root of the problem. Give me a pm if she finds this acceptable.
