    Salaam Everyone,

Lately I have been confused about something. I am going to try my best to express myself clearly here.
Has anyone felt being near God? I mean to say feeling like talking to? Before I knew about Quranic teachings around 1-2 years ago, I have felt extremely close to God. When I came to know about hadith contradictions with Quran, I stopped taking those hadiths seriously, and I felt even more close after lots of confusion and research. It was like this until recently when I saw a post in Jinn and Paranormal section.

Since then I am extremely confused and scared thinking what if it is just Satan's voices. I stopped listening to it, but then I have never felt so close to God, happy, and with peace before. Whenever I am taking a decision or in a difficult situation, I listen to that voice and put my trust in God, it always works. Now that I have tried to stop it thinking what if it just Satan's voice, it is extremely hard to let go because I don't feel in peace. Also, I think what if it's not Satan's voices, and I am just confused for no reason. There is a verse about in Qur'an about God speaking behind a barrier. When I saw that long time ago, I was even more happy because it was like confirmation, but since that post, I have been confused.
I ask forgiveness from God if I am doing something wrong about this. I prayed about this situation as well. I can't let go of that voice at the same time. It is hard.
I have never told about this to anyone because people might think I am delusional? I tried to make a post about it since the time I have been confused about it, but I thought I would be fine. Now, I thought to just say it.

No worries, you are on the right path and God is with you. Since we are humans with free will and mind, we analyze a lot in our heads.

How to know if you are being influenced by satan?
If something in your head seems to move towards negativity and deep down inside you feel guilty about it, you know its satan who is trying to tempt you to accept the negativity.

Never be scared. This is a weak point that satan uses to manipulate human beings. Always remember you are superior than him. Just read some hadiths and you will know that your true path is Quran. Sometimes we humans just need assurance.

I believe you are very lucky brother. You should know better if the internal voice that helps you in taking the
right decision is from Allah or not. However that voice should always guide you to the good things.

The Prophet Musa has heard the voice of Allah; the malayikas have called out to the Prophets like Ibrahim, Lut, Maryam, Zackariah, Sulaiman to mention a few and have talked to them the words of Allah. And in Babyl, the two malayika Harut and Marut have talked to the people of the city who were mostly sorcerers; and also to the people of Lut who were the worst of its kind appearing before them in perfect human forms too, coming out of their veils.

A voice need not be of jinns' always; it could be a direct wahi from Allah received by you as a human voice; or Allah speaking to you from behind a veil i.e., through the malayikas who are veiled to your naked eyes.

And in just the same way you were able to dismiss the hadiths as shaitan's, you can dismiss of the voices if they are ante to Quran. Keep well connected to Quran and you will not have any difficulty to differentiate as to whose and to which voice you do hear.

O The Hearer, O The Seer, O The Knower of the hearts I look up to You, O The Revealer.

I don't have knowledge to explain about what happened to you, sister (?).

I don't know what it is ("the voice you heard&quot, to be honest.

There were times when I felt close with my Lord, but as I recall, I never heard the voice which I think is His voice.

I think God helps me recognize Him by making me use my sense and do evaluation of the things that happened to me. From my experiences, I make conclusion that God "educates" me and "subjugates" me, praise be to God.

I prayed about this situation as well.

I think praying to God is indeed what you should do.

May Allah make this matter become clear for you.

            Salm.

Im curious about this too. Your experience is the same like mine. I used to wrote down on evernote about everything what is come to my mind to remind me, and it is sometime surprising that what is comes to my mind was right.

But of course, not most of it was right. But one thing for sure, when I felt the peace feeling, what is comin to my mind was the right things even though I dont understand what it was, it was just some kind of understand, and when what is come to my mind was something that make me felt worry it always wrong, but sometime when I shared the story, I personally, Im not talking about you, I tend to exagerated it, so it make me difficult to accept the truth where is the right one and what is the wrong one.

Here is some advice, on 10 of something that comes to your mind, count how many was right. THen you can decide which came from syaithon and which are not. I did not deny the possibilites maybe jibril whispering something because I personally know how it felt.

                "Peace".

Sister, what you need to do is more research to reach conviction.

In my days before discovering the problem with hadith, i felt contented. Time to time, i felt that closeness to God. But my heart was never at permanent peace. Several dogmas left me dissatisfied and even guilty. The whole situation improved drastically after embracing Qur'an alone. But even my early days following Qur'an alone was tough. I found myself in having second thoughts sometimes. Like, "Neptin, are you sure you made the right move?". As i did more and more researches, getting information from Qur'an, Hadith, History, Articles/Essays, my confidence strengthened and today those second thoughts are history.

FindingRightPath, inquire, research and rationalize more with objectivity. May God guide you

No, it never move me towards negativity, but since lately, I have been confused if I am just feeling and listening to something else because I don't want to do something wrong against God. Thanks Reel for reassurance )

That happened to me as well after discovering hadiths vs Quran. I was so confused. I started doubting God and Quran after seeing the lies in hadiths. I became fine after thinking a lot about the existence of God and started reading Qur'an for the first time. Thank God, that went away because I felt like burning alive without God when I started doubting God during that time.

Thanks May God guide me and everyone.

If you start to have doubts then only way is to seek the truth and that goes through spending time in reading
and getting educatio for the subject matter.
For example as step 1 , learn arabic language.

                      cheers
