Allah is the only thing in existence and sustains us expressions. It is everything so it is all energy of the universe.

When we call upon the Rabb we call upon our foundation.

      Faith to you

Allah is the first consicoussness ever exist, and He understand to make one. He knows every movement on each of sub atomic particles, everything is recorded. He saw on every angle and direction. He knows everything and never miss a thing. He is watching us but say nothing to make us do what we used to do. He cannot be seen but he can see everyhing that can see. Nothing is the same with Him. He is absolute owner of each matter. And He is infinite.

Oh I made a gross error in my last post and wrote "thing". Sorry. I meant abstract entity.

If by 'being' you mean a 'living thing'
then no, G-D is not a 'thing' (as per the Quran)!

In a nutshell we all are mere thoughts of a single infinite consciousness . Thoughts don't have a separate existence apart from the thinker nor thoughts make the thinker. What Allah is always will remain a mystery. We will all merge into the one at some point . My guess is this life is one of the many we will have to go through to be with the one .

                  Peace Shogunsami, all

In my view there is a lot of information about God in the quran which gives us a clear description/explanation of who God is and what the nature of God is. Unlike personal opinions about God (which many traditionalists and modernists seem to have) the quranic view on God is clear, logical and evidence-based.

The Quran seems to suggest that the God is the following

                  1. The Creator of everything (see verse 3962, 4062 and 6102).
                  2. The Sustainer of everything (see verse 754, 1031 and 2225).
                  3. The Everlasting; He has always existed and will always exist (see verse 1123 and 288.
                  4. The Omniscient (see verse 2225, 659, 343, 3538, 4212, 4916, 4918 and 4960).
                  5. The Omnipotent (see verse 214.
                  6. The Omnipresent (see verse 5016).
                  7. The Entity which is one/singular and has no partners (see verse 931, 1066, 2122, 2391 and 3422).
                  8. The Owner of everything in the heavens and the earth (see verse 2284).
                  9. The Only one who guides to the truth (see verse 1035).
                  10. The Unseen (see verse 6103).
                  11. The Master of the believers (see verse 4711).
                  12. The Light of the heavens and the earth (see verse 2445).
                  13. The Protector of the righteous (see verse 4519).
                  14. The Most trustworthy (see verse 4122, 951 and 1412).
                  15. The One who will resurrect human beings on the day of reckoning and reward or punish them (see verse 429, 5818, 2281 and 356).

                      Peace,

Allah is not Being or energy, If we want to know Allah, he tells us in Quran.

As far as Supreme being is concerned, it is a colloquial expression, not a true definition but
an expression understood between speaker and listener.

                      God bless you

                      peace

Hi hicham, I will disagree with all due respect. Our thoughts are not product of our brains. Our thoughts are a product of us. What's us again is something uncertain even now. Anyway I simply wished to draw a parallel so that the reader can understand the basic concept.

Rather than thoughts we can say we are expressions.

"Energy" is also colloquial or metaphorical for "God" who does not have any limitation but is everything including charged or uncharged spirit disguised as apparent solid matter, i.e. the perfect illusion. The atoms and molecules, i.e. energy, only appears solid and colored due to this is what our senses can perceive but actually we are wandering around in a cell of energy creating artificial barriers that are only there because 'The Sustainer' (Rabb) keeps all matter intact instead of disintegrating.

But for something that is omnipresent, having no fixed location whatsoever, you can say that this abstract entity is existence itself, even when the 'The Sustainer' is above the creation but it is not so strange considered it is the what sustaining force of the universe keeping it intact.

So when you sit on your chair you are actually sitting on a mass of energy appearing solid and colored in whatever surface substance you cover it with.

                          Have faith

I agree with hicham, consciousness was just a product of our brain. There would be time our scientist able to regenerate the dead consciousness, and we will understand that consciousness was just atom configuration.

                              Peace to all

Over the last few years I have had some conversations about theological matters with atheists and agnostics. And a question I have been asked is this "Who created God?"

It seems that many atheists reject the fact that there is "one God" just because they don't believe that something can exist without being created.

These are ideas that an atheist might ponder upon

If there is only one God, then which entity created it? If an entity created God, then this means that another creator (another God) has existed in the past but vanished, or has existed in the past and still exists. If another creator has existed in the past but vanished, or has existed in the past and still exists, then this means that the notion that there has always been only "one God", is false.

This is why I believe that atheists are wrong in regards to monotheism

In my opinion, there has always been only "one God". And the reason why I believe that there has always been only "one God", is because the Quran suggests that the God was not begotten.

Quran 1123 He does not beget, nor was He begotten,

According to the above-mentioned verse, God was not begotten (born). If God was not begotten, then no entity could have created God. If no entity could have created the God, then this means that God is eternal. If God is eternal, then this means that God has no beginning and no end. This reasoning (which is supported by verse 1123 in the Quran) leads me to the conclusion that no entity could have created God. No entity can create that which is eternal (has no beginning and no end). Because it is a logical impossibility to create something which is eternal (has always existed).

Quran 3962 God is the Creator of all things, and He is Guardian over all things.

Quran 4062 That is God, your Lord, Creator of all things. There is no god except He, so why do you deviate?

According to the above-mentioned verses, God is the creator of everything. If God is the creator of everything, then this means that no entity could have created. Because no entity can create that which has created everything. In other words, no one can create the creator of everything. This reasoning (which is supported by verse 3962 and 4062 in the Quran) leads me to the conclusion that no entity could have created God. Because it is logically impossible to create the creator of everything.

So who created God? Nothing. No one. The quranic evidence proves that the argument about the creation of God is rooted in falsehood. Hence the argument of the atheists is blown into pieces.

Last but not least, I would like to share two quotes with you.

"If there were no God, there would be no atheists." - G.K. Chesterton.

"If God does not exist, everything is permitted." - Fyodor Dostoyevsky

                                Salam Taro.

While I agree with your conclusion in the above post - that Allah is not created, I could not follow your argument that got you to the conclusion.

You have rightly pointed out that "Who created God" is a question often asked by the atheists - and probably is the most difficult one. Your answer to this is - "Qur'an says Allah is not begotten - so nobody created Allah". This seems to be a form of "appeal to authority". An atheist who does not believe in God (in any form) would not believe Qur'an to be a devine text - so the above response would never be a convincing response to them. You need to formulate a logical response to why there can be a God who is not created.

As of now I do not have a very well formulated answer to this challange - but I am looking for it. Perhaps the answer is there in Qur'an somewhere, we just need to look harder.

May Allah guide us all to the straight route.

                                Regards,
                                Arman

                                  Salam Armanaziz, all,

My main reason for writing the text/article about theology was to destroy the argument of the atheists by using two quranic verses (which I consider evidence/proof). My purpose/aim was not to convince the atheists. My purpose/aim was to defend our belief. This reminds me of a quote

"When I tell any truth, it is not for the sake of convincing those who do not know it, but for the sake of defending those that do."

I forgot to write the word "it" in the second sentence of a paragraph (in the quote above).

                                    Let me correct the error

When atheists think ask what created God they look like fools. What do they have to say about infiniti? It has no end and beginning.

We must understand our own limitations. In a way, our eyes can't see everything. Science says dogs and cats are far more able than humans in seeing what looks invisible to us. But then again, Yes, it sounds like a fairytale, but thats the truth that scientists dont refute. Not sure why atheists like to think that God should be visible just like humans.

Unlike some organisms, the human eye does not see into ultraviolet or infrared rages, nor does it see microwaves, radio waves, x-rays, gamma rays, or anything that falls out of the visual spectrum. This applies to night vision and dark-adapted vision. The dark-adapted eye utilizes the rod cells as opposed to the cone cells of daylight vision; rod cells are more photosensitive and more numerous, but they lack the color sensitivity and detail resolution of daylight rendering.http//psychedelic-information-theory.com/Limits-of-Human-Perception

Perhaps, our eyes and brains are not programmed to see Allah's composition?

                                        Harmony upon you reel,

It is good what you write. Colors although do not really exist either but it is only we who perceive (register) them as colors in our brains based on the reflection of light upon the material. But not all sort of waves make the same kind of reflection hence why it does not produce color for our eyes. Equipment for night vision in particular is often black and white. There are modern cameras that are extremely light sensitive which can keep the color in very dark situations although not utterly dark.

Animals do not perceive the world like we do and many are colorblind. But animals like cats see very well in the dark thanks to working much like the very light sensitive camera I mentioned above. Their "glowing" eyes in the dark can also be scary. Your quote gave a good explanation why.

For someone who could see energy, would see regardless if there was light or not. Even heat wave sensitive vision would be able to see nearly everywhere.

All matter is actually disguised energy, charged or discharged, as I have written about in other posts.

                                        Have faith

I forgot to write the word "it" in the second sentence of a paragraph (in the quote above).

                                          Let me correct the error

According to the above-mentioned verses, God is the creator of everything. If God is the creator of everything, then this means that no entity could have created it. Because no entity can create that which has created everything. In other words, no one can create the creator of everything. This reasoning (which is supported by verse 3962 and 4062 in the Quran) leads me to the conclusion that no entity could have created God. Because it is logically impossible to create the creator of everything.

The word "it" has now been added to the second sentence in the paragraph above.

Isn't He The natural phenomena That is the cause and is inherent in all things , so does not need creating but creates !
