Meditation is more giving than the ritual called salat.

        Have faith

Well, it depends, as always in life.
You can make some kind of sports of both, I know many people who stress that they do yoga only for fitness (the practitioners of salat would normally not admit that...), or you can do it as a dialogue with your creator, and then you may get harmony and inner peace out of both, depending on your own preferences.

Islamic salat or yoga or worshiping idols are all one and the same as long as it involves ritual or gymnastic body languages.

                Wrong,

Yoga has roots in religions that worship sun, like hindusim, sun is symbol of satan, Sunday = Sun Day = Satans day. Yoga is very popular in western world, that says everything LOL
Here in the west it was introduced to public as an exercise but its nothing more than ritual of sun worship.

                  1. Create an exact measurement metrics on "peace".
                  2. Decide how you can monitor the metrics.
                  3. Monitor the metrics on a sample of 100 do islamic salat, 100 do yoga and also perhaps 100 do buddhist meditation.
                  4. Compare and analyze the result.

Umm, yoga has nothing to do with peace. It is actually done in preparation for meditation linked to kundalini rising/merkaba. And majority of the exercises are expressions of hindu deities. In fact, the first part of the exercise is called salutation to the sun. Demo in the pic

Thats one of the reasons why church in England wanted yoga out.
